You can still get 13E with that 5M dish but if your area is proving stubbon, use it for 57E, 7w or 22w with Fshare you're good to go

Pls It's there any available Sunplus decoder chipset brands with 4k pictures that can be recommended for me because i realise that Strong decoders are Forever Server compatible only while Sunplus chipset decoders are Nashare2 server compatible so I need a recommendation & Idea's . I don't think the decoder is a multi stream decoder like srt 4954h. So it may not open AFN channels

It's 💯Multistream high grade 4k display decoder far more advance than 4954H in fact 28e Multistream frequency is playing on it. i needed someone who is using it on AFN Network satellite to share his experience because i feel its a software issue. it also come with there usual 13 months forever server account. But the major factor is the price tag on this decoder is very high hence people are shying away from it but it what's the price though. Hopefully other users can share there solutions. Thanks

Quick update concerning my quest for a software for SRT 494k decoder currently i can access the Bisskey menu with the Software i posted above however this particular software doesn't offer Option link but ended on OTA Menu only so one has to constantly press F8280 to Access Bisskey menu & it doesn't open AFN Network either. So am still searching for SRT494k Decoder Software that can open AFN Network just like Srt 4954H does. Meanwhile SRT494k Decoder picture quality is out of this world particularly when watching Hispasat Channels & all the audio sound working very well unlike srt 4954H. So Gurus pls if anyone here is using SRT494k Decoder to watch AFN Network satellite plsssss indicate the software being used with a link for download 🙏 Thanks.

Quick update i install the software i got from crosat.us earlier on before their website started this current malfunctioning & i was able to access the bisskey menu using F8280 however i left the AFN Network on to see if it will open it but till now its not opening it . If there's any other process i will appreciate it. thanks

Thank you very much for your reply. I bought it b4 seeing this reply at arena yesterday. Someone asked me to go for old dstv LNB as it is better (but I don't know which one I bought whether cc band etc)
I also bought 10pcs rf connector because I heard that installers do misplace it easily.
The seller told me that the cable (25mm) will be enough for me though I want to use 2 LNB.
Then I went for this normal dstv 90cm dish and strong decoder that is h265
Also disecq too.

Will I be able to get better stations with this (eg documentary, movies, etc)? I don't want a single church channel at all at all

What bought is very ok & also the lnb you bought is Ku band & that's ok to serve your need. If you can get normal strong ku band lnb in carton colour pack that's also very good quality.

1= Dish
2= Decoder
3= LNB KU Band or C Cband it all depends on you.
4=I A Bundle of LNB Cable Medium Role
5= Disecq Switch 4in1 if needed
6= 6pcs F-Connector Screw.

You can get it freely on Astra 2G @ 28.2 °E though you need to get about 4m to 5m dish for you to be able to track it.

Good day house ,I on my Srt 4954H & i saw software update display on my screen because my decoder has a WiFi connection i took the remote click on upgrade then it has stocked at 82% for the past 45 minutes still no movement, Pls do i do to avoid the decoder damaging? Pls Gurus in the house i thank everyone immensely for the good teaching & answering of relevant questions being asked from house members Kudos .Meanwhile i have SRT 4922A decoder that the Tuner has suddenly stopped picking up satellite signals even when it does it will flash green in some frequency & go off within seconds in others it will show green but deeply low frequency .
Pls house what is actually the problem and how to rectify it or should i give it to a repairer?
Pls anyone with a similar experience should guide me about this issue

Option 1.
Revive dead strong decoders via a decoder-to-decoder firmware transfer Method
This is a full proof no mistake process as long as you follow instructions.
REQUIREMENTS for a decoder-to-decoder transfer
1. You need a rs232 serial cable
2. You need a working strong decoder of the exact model. Meaning if a strong 4922a is dead, you need a strong 4922a to wake not a 4920 even though their software is very similar.
The Steps
1. Get an rs-232 CABLE
2. Get another working decoder of that same type
3.connect the two decoders via rs232 and remember to switch off the bad one
4. Switch on the good one.
5. Go to – system setting (on the good decoder)
6.Select data transfer
7. Choose firmware and press ok. Wait till it finishes loading.
Option 2.
The Steps
Step 1. Look for the model number or type of the decoder and download the Rom.bin file on to a virus-free USB drive.
Step 2. Power off the decoder and insert the drive. Hold the power button in front and switch on the decoder while still holding it until the decoder automatically detect the rom.bin and starts loading.
Step 3. Wait until the decoder loads successfully and reboots. Technically the whole process should take not more than 3-4 minutes.
This process will restore the receiver to default, so you will have to re-program it again

update new satellites and new frequency update list to receiver SRT4902-SRT4920-SRT4922)
and click the small green arrow to download it. Then unzip it and put in the USB drive and use option 2 steps above.

@ Microgiant " I have chosen the last option you suggested because my 4922A decoder is not fried rather the issue here is that i Mistakenly did a Factory Reset that wiped away all my setup clean leaving the decoder empty without any interface functionality so when i on it , it will display the normal Strong Logo but no interface menu table/Settings to work with and that's the problem am facing so not a dead decoder. So i have use a Clean USB Drive to download the Software of [28/8/2016 & 21/11/2016 ] both Software contains Sat Frequency/Channel list then i will upgrade it using the Option 2 Usb Method you suggested. If it works i will inform the the house because currently am on a travel so the decoder is not with me but if there's any other suggestion i will be glad to take it. Thanks alot sir.

Gurus in the house happy weekend to everybody

Pls my Srt 4922A decoder was displaying memory full anytime i want to blind scan or if i want to input new tips so i decided to do Factory Reset but after that i switch on the decoder low and behold everything in the menu table of the decoder was wiped off , The interface is Totally emty . Pls i need help and direction on how to install all the original Srt 4922A Factory formats back.

Yes it can be tracked with 90Cm perfectly well However the MBC Package Signal is too low 58% and cracks heavily despite all the tweaking of LNB but the NTA Sports24/AIT Signal is 85% very ok. I use normal strong lnb.

Now getting a Current working Bisskey patch for BWTV on This Intelsat 68e ku is another hunt for me. Any one with a clue should help because this channel hold lot's of goodies my people.(live sports and many more)
