Arabsat 20e (Irib Package) on 1M dish has long gone at my end [Accra ] but can work on 110M/115M dish if you are technically gifted on how to go about it for lack of space or better still go for 1.8M dish if you have enough space.

@Gh-one i was busy yesterday i want to correct one impression about the Change of 'FEC' on IRIB u talked about pls it didn't enhance anything on 1M dish tracking what happen is Irib is a Circular Tip & Supermax Lnb 17k perform beta than strong while in Linear Tips Strong Lnb perform beta than Supermax & that's what did the MAGIC for me not their change of FEC.those who has posted there Pic on 1M Achive the same fit with Supermax not Strong Cb Lnb! Sammu, Odilibe has posted the same Analysis hia b4.Tx

@All members & most importantly all the Gurus who's Analysis guided me so much about Supermax C band lnb. Thanks to u all bcus i was able to stablise my Irib package at 68%, jsc 69%,others 70% on 1M dish.it was 64% when i was using strong Cband lnb & it was cracking & flashing but Supermax 17k has done good for me. Meanwhile what is happning to 12417v30000 tip on Amos 17e?in my house in lagos with 4669x it was green with pic but over here in Accra with my 4922AHD Software 131p is Red.any clue Tks.

@Sulieman3 Thanks for your observation it's Ovious Supermax offer a better Signal on Circular pol than Strong while strong offer a better Signal on linear pol than Supermax Both Sammu,Obnelly one oda Guru have confirm this b4 but what make yours interesting is its ability to pick a stable signal without the dielectric plate on.curently am using Strong-Signal 64% on Irib but pic not stable but for me enough said on this issue bcus now am well inform on how to up my signal to stabilize the pic.Tk

SULIEMAN3: This is to all and sundry.
I received irib signals today without the di-electric plate being inserted on the throat of the lnb and they are working effectively. After tracking, i inserted the di-electric plate to see how the signal would behave, lo and behold! irib packages went off and the signal left with 4055h27500 and i had to remove the di-electric plate again to get back the signals of irib.

@ Larrynob u have archive a great feat Keep it up,i observe that ur LNB Skew is different from others which is usually 12oclk also ur dish is 1M by its shape, in all ur feat is a bold courage for those constrained by space.Pls Which latest software r u using?(4922A HD)& the Signal % of ur IRIB? @Akinige thanks for ur response@GH-one,Akwaba its seems u r done with studies! to issue of IRIB Signal on 1M dish.if u read my post lastweek about my result on Arabsat20e.i was able to achive 64% on IRIB & 68/69% Jsc but 64% on Irib was still frezzin Back & fort so i decide to hold on till i get an LNB that can increase my signal up to (70/ 72% Jsc)(65/67 IRIB)am getting close to Achivin dat so lets be cotiously optimistic about 1M bcus its weda prone even if u hit Green.(1.2/1. is beta.TKS

Akinige: my irib signal is 82 % while jsc is 91 loud n clear wit 1. 8 cm pan dish in ibadan .
