@Blexxonmak pls there are issues that you have not touched on concerning combining NSS 57e cb & IS20 68e Cb on one dish either 1.8m or 2.4m & the issue is this , we know that tracking IS20 68e C does not require dielectric plate but what of NSS 57e C does it require dielectric plate or not ?
Finally Able Chairman pls ooh don't be offended by my last question @ 57e has no SP24 like the westside but has SK 1,SK 2, but locked with cryptowork guard not power vu as listed on the sat website. Have you done the audio trial? i.e we have stereo,right and left, then low,medium and high. Have you tried it?by interchanging them to see which one works better.

Pls gurus indeed your help my 4669x decoder Volume is not functioning well , I have to raise the volume to 100 before one can hear a sound this is not the case before meanwhile I have tried other decoders their volumes are OK bcus initially I thought its from the satellites channels but that's not the problem even when I use the TV volume I still have to raise it to the highest number before you can hear sounds. Pls Gurus what do I do to solve this volume problem. Pls Help. Viva FTA.

a summary of my failed hunt today. location: Maiduguri north east Nigeria. dish size 2.4m. had set out to track paksat. I used the frequency 4007v15555. after over 2hours of sweat in the hot Maiduguri sun, my efforts were greeted with red bars. I gave up on it and decided to hunt down idman. I used the tp 3730v30000. I got green in less than 10min. I was optimistic that after changing to my Ku band lb, I'd hit green but to my utter dismay, the bars were redder than ripe miango pepper. all efforts proved abortive. I then moved over to hunt for Eri TV. it was another difficult task but as I was about giving up, I hit green on 12523 v 6000. I was about rejoicing when I imputed the frequency for eritv on 10832 V 2780 but once more I hit red. after over 7 hours, I got nothing to show for it. am so sad but I've not given up. I still believe these channels are receivable and I'll continue d hunt. anyone with useful suggestions should please assist.

you have done well " that's the spirit of FTA don't give up as others have adviced bcus your success will encourage people like me , I quiet remember the time of IRIB 20e I modified my 1M dish to track it & I was successful then even last Sunday I tried the same on Intelsat 20 68e C but not successful bcus of too many blunders in front of my dish however i decides to go for full 1.8M dish & also reposition it to avoid blockages.

Am being tempted to buy their Starsat HD decoder version , 3600 for 3 months as first time subscribers & 3600 for full sub monthly for Series a, bundisliga, French liga, Champions league, Europa league, Europa qualifier, who knows in future LA liga as well. I think Startimes has come to stay in Africa. Guy's 3600 for all this is mouth watering & they deserve our petronage & support, with this move gradually Compition will give subscribers more choices to make in Sub sahara Africa.

I understand that it's encrypted with power vu , am using 4922A any software for my box to unlock it ? Finally the tips & dish seize .am in Accra. Happy weekend to all forum members & all the Gurus in the house , special thanks to those who assisted me over my 4922A HD that was faulty since June 3rd Rain disaster in Accra that kill over 200 hundred lives. My decoder was displaying LNBF when I came back from my Vacation in Naija so I took it to Strong Office after all my efforts to ratify it failed eventually they get it done after two weeks because the initial repair they did didn't workout so I returned it to them
Finally they get it right however they suggested that I should check the lnb on my dish meanwhile am using 6 dish with 7 lnb mounted on them . members what I discovered was shocking ,all the seven lnb's was burned including the diseqC switch as well as the decoder hence the display of LNBF but in all i thank God its well .Gradually am changing all the lnb & the 8in1 switch. So this my experience I want to share & Tunder Strike was the cause. Thanks viva FTA.

Pls am a full time FTA enthusiast already am receiving all the starsat channels with my 60 cm dish on SES 5e with my Strong decoder (though scrambled)over here in Ghana However I want to buy Starsat HD decoder with one month activation when I come to Lagos .But First gurus
I want a honest answer can it work over here in Ghana & can all the channels listed on their lyngsat website open with the premium package #3600.?

take my advice dont try it yourself,i have fixed it for someone i can tell you that if it is the stb that has the tiny lines when pulling the the three leg ic or transistor it use to be so strong if not careful you can damage the lines

Actually I never intended doing it myself however my only regrate is that had it been that it developed this fault b4 I traveled I would taken it along & repair it at Alaba but am back to Accra meanwhile the dealer I talk to this evening told me to take it to their Office which is very far for me & no guarantee they will repair it immediately( Cantonment Accra) however intend to take it to a place in (Zongo lane Accra) & see if they can fix it for me. Yes u can do it yourself, U will need a star screw driver for opening your stb & a soldering iron for melting the 3 legs of the transistor or better go for a trained personnel to do it for u Sir.

worry not my friend the lnb tuner is ok but the transistor which changes V/H polarity is dead,remove this transistor(TP 42C) and replace it with a similar type or with a different number on it.It once happened to me and thus i resolved the lnb display on my stb.This is caused by contacts of the lnb cable.

I arrived from travel & on my decoder [4922A HD] its signals was red across board with LNBF display on it I thought initially it could be partial contact between tiny wire & the F connector but after I check my disec switch it still continue then I decide to run the cable direct to the decoder still no green signal on any of the sat tested so i realise that the LNB INPUT Connector at the back of the decoder is the problem .Pls Gurus in the house can it be changed? Or is it a different problem altogether, pls anyone with such experience advice me what to do before going for repair work to avoid them damaging my decoder.Pls help for the past 4days now I have not been watching any satellite channels in my House. Waiting for Helpful Response. Viva FTA.

bein sports/hd is encrypted on viaccess 2.6/3.0 not biss encryption...but FTA on fransat decoder in europe...
last time I checked my BBC signal on nilesat201 was much stronger than entv on 5west Ku band! you may require 1.8 to 2.4m prime focus for entv steerable on 5west!though close to zamfara may need 1.2m offset as recommended dish size on steerable beam!
On bein sports Ku super beam I doubt any blink on 3m dish!
