DoTheNeedful: The lady in the X space made a salient point about Obidients whitewashing any politician, regardless of their pasts, as long as they support Obi. She gave an example of El-rufai, whom many Obidients started supporting and sympathizing with during the time Obi was a member of ADC.
Her non-support for Kwakwanso is purely based on principle. I wish we could have more people like her. She is the type that can lecture a Tinubu supporter on the moral baggage of Tinubu. The remaining 99% of Obidients, who claim to be fighting for a better Nigeria, don't have that moral high ground to do so.
I can never understand how Obidients easily forget the atrocities of El-rufai against the Southern Kaduna indigienes as a governor. This same El-rufai had several unprintable words for Obi and Igbos in the past. He is a known religious bigot and a Fulani supremacist. However, Obidients looked away and started defending him online the moment they found a common ground in ADC.
That's what the real lover of new Nigeria should ld look like
Richtaiwo: Confusion in the camp! So they actually have a forum? No wonder every discussion is dismissed as an "APC WhatsApp meeting", people often imagine others live exactly as they do. While polishing the halos of their preferred sinners, they still insist I'm collecting 30k a month simply for supporting my preferred candidate. Truth has a curious habit of arriving late, but never empty-handed.
In an unequivocal position, the secretary to the government of the federation under the administration of ex president muhammadu buhari, babachir lawal has declared that Peter obi would be a colossal disaster if given opportunity to rule Nigeria.
The former sgf stated this during a recent interview that was posted online.
Babachir lawal rated all the presidential aspirants on a scale of 0 - 100
I hope President Tinubu is careful of these people, I believe they are planing something evil against him. Their utterances shows it. They are pained that the north has been demystified.
adenigga: Nigeria’s Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has criticised Burkina Faso’s military leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, over his position on Sharia and governance.
In a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, Gumi described Traoré as too young and inexperienced.
He further said that the Burkina Faso’s leader is very naive to fully understand the complexities surrounding religion, society and global politics.
According to him, Traoré’s approach could create opportunities for extremist groups to exploit public sentiment and attract more supporters.
He warned that leadership decisions require a deeper understanding of social and geopolitical realities.
“Captain Ibrahim Traoré (born 14 March 1988), with his anti-Shariah stance, at the age of 38, with nothing but military training on his resume, is too naive to understand even the complicity of the society he is ruling under the gun, let alone the dynamics of contemporary geopolitics.
“He has given the extremists the weapon they need to conscript more foot soldiers against his secular regime,” Gumi said.
Pierocash: you still haven't made any sense. Religious fanatics make conscious decisions to remain deluded even when facts stare at them with clarity. To make you understand that you are just a religious extremist, I am a Christian, but not a deluded one like most people who believe that USA stands for Christ while Iran are terrorists. Most of you supporting US have no tangible reason why you support them against Iran other than they told you that Iran is sponsoring terrorism nothing more. All evidence have proven them wrong that the west are the real sponsors of terror around the world. You can choose to remain dumb, it doesn't change anything that facts are facts
Christian indeed or in practice. You smack of some belligerent Christian if at all. We don't have need for wolf in sheep clothing like you though.
OLABAMIJI99: I am not expecting cheers from anyone because most Atiku supporters are not online..
Only Tinubu and Obi supporters will invade this thread to argue with emotions instead of facts because they are majority on this forum , and above all they are emotionally attached to their candidates..
Na you still dey reply yourself speaks volumes. You know you are very far from reality on ground. Keep deluding yourself, its free choice.
Pierocash: lies. That is what the western media wants you to believe just to justify US' actions against any country of interest. The west fund more terrorism than Iran. All terrorists terrorizing the world were founded and funded by US, Isreal, France , and the UK.
They use lies to cripple any country they want to invade. They lied Saddam Hussein was creating a nuclear weapons and funding terrorism just like they are accusing Iran today, after invading and destroying that country, killed Saddam Hussein, it turned out they lied, which they admitted. They lied that Gadaffi was creating nuclear weapons, and funding terrorism, they invaded Libya, killed Gadaffi, and destroyed Libya, it turned out it was a lie too. Meanwhile the identity of the overall leader and commander of the Islamic state of Libya terrorist group has been revealed and it turned out he is an Israeli. They lied that Maduro is selling drugs in United States, they captured him, seized their oil till date, that is also gradually turning to be a lie. Now it is Iran and you guys still believed them. If not that those ones possesses the capacity to take them on, they would have ruined that country too and seize their oils.
Those guys are the real terrorists deceiving you guys
Everybody is not like you guys that are brainwashed so easily. We look at logic and consistency which your religion deprived you of.
bigpriik: You guys think war is about just the physical , Russia has being fighting ukraine since 5 years now no tangible results after loosing almost half a million soldiers you think say na ordinary eyes? Kiev is the mother of the entire Russian civilization Kiev gave birth to the Russian civilization and you think you can overran your motherland? Let's just agree that America is going there to steal Iranian oil by force but to beat the Iranians into submission that will never happen ,they will replace the mullahs with the mullahs just like they replace the Taliban with Taliban after wasting money and lives for 20 years. America or any world power cannot win any war in this age of enlightenment, every of the motives have being demistified by both the world and their citizens who want to go and die for a Epstein monster.
1nice: "RESIGN FOR THE SAKE OF NIGERIA”: NORTHERN LEADERS ASK PRESIDENT TINUBU TO RESIGN, CITE LOPSIDED APPOINTMENTS AND NATIONAL FRACTURE
In a bold and unprecedented move, a coalition of northern elders, youth groups, and political stakeholders has called on President Bola Tinubu to resign, saying his administration has lost the trust of a broad section of Nigerians.
The group, which addressed journalists in Kaduna, listed several “reasonable grounds” for the demand, with the central accusation being that governance has become exclusionary.
THE REASONS GIVEN:
1. Lopsided Appointments Leaders alleged that key federal appointments have disproportionately favored one ethnic group. “We voted for a Nigeria President, not a regional president,” a spokesman said. “Today, critical positions in security, finance, and infrastructure are dominated by Yorubas, while Northerners, Igbos, and other tribes are treated as spectators in their own government. That is not the unity we were promised.”
2. Worsening Insecurity in the North The coalition cited unending banditry, kidnapping, and farmer-herder clashes across Zamfara, Katsina, Niger, and Benue. “Two years on, the Abuja-Kano road is still a death trap. Our children cannot go to school or farm. Where is the ‘Renewed Hope’ for the North?”
3. Economic Hardship and Policy Pain They pointed to fuel subsidy removal, floating of the naira, and rising food inflation as policies that have hit northern farmers, traders, and families hardest, without adequate palliatives or alternatives. “Markets are empty. Hunger is now a policy.”
4. Abandonment of Key Projects The group listed stalled projects including the Abuja-Kano expressway, rail lines, and irrigation schemes as evidence that the North’s contribution to the 2023 victory has not been reciprocated.
5. Erosion of National Unity “By governing for a section instead of all sections, the administration is deepening division,” the statement read. “Igbos feel marginalized. Northerners feel used and dumped. Other minorities feel invisible. A president must be father to all.”
The leaders said they are not calling for chaos, but for “constitutional order and moral responsibility.” They urged the National Assembly, APC leadership, and civil society to begin a national conversation on leadership, inclusion, and credible succession ahead of 2027.
Dr. Aisha Bello, a political analyst present at the briefing, noted: _“This is not just northern anger. It is a warning sign. When a large voting bloc that helped bring a government to power now says ‘we have had enough,’ every party must listen.”_
As of press time, the Presidency has not issued an official response.
Omooba77: Dear @faveoautos thank you for your feedback.
For clarity, there is no restriction on movement during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise. Consequently, arresting anyone on the basis of movement during the exercise is unlawful and does not represent the position or policy of the Lagos State Government.
The monthly environmental sanitation exercise was reintroduced primarily to restore and strengthen the culture of environmental cleanliness across the state. The initiative is backed by the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law, 2017. However, the law does not provide for any restriction on movement during the exercise.
Our focus is on encouraging Lagosians to embrace environmental sanitation as a civic responsibility and a shared commitment to maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Lagos, rather than relying on enforcement measures.
Former Anambra State Governor and NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi has once again demonstrated his commitment to healthcare and humanitarian causes by donating ₦10 million to Catholic Maternity Hospital, Amunaya, Ogoja. The generous contribution is aimed at supporting the hospital's mission of providing quality maternal and healthcare services to the community. Obi's latest donation has sparked widespread praise, with many describing it as another reflection of his long-standing dedication to improving lives through strategic investments in health and education.
Make he just expect vote from his Catholic people only sha. We will still not vote him.
