tunnyl: Its kuku also Sabab….Una like wahala. May Allah open una eyes.
So why are your people angry when people push back on your attempts. If we live by your sabab it will be.l a free for all for everyone. Chaotic life, that's what you want to create. A world that thrives solely on violence and survival of the fittest at the expense of the weak. Sabab ko sabab ni☹️
enemyofprogress: I'm repeating it again and again. Gbajabiamila is a crook just like his master. Go to USA and ask of him when he was practicing as a lawyer? He was crook, crooker, crookest.
I guess you were there with him or one of his victims ba. Cos when it's time for court you must prove with your evidence.
Afrobeats superstar Davido has fired back at Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo after the governor mocked Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his love for dancing.
Defending Adeleke, Davido questioned whether there was anything wrong with a governor dancing before taking a direct swipe at Okpebholo, asking if the governor’s voice was no longer shaking because he had “seen small money” and concluding with a savage jab: “Na because you no get talent na.” 😂🔥
The exchange has sparked reactions online, with Nigerians weighing in on the growing war of words.
Was Davido’s comeback justified, or did he take it too far?
tunnyl: Most times when evil befalls us in this country, the first thing we say is: “Ahh, na my enemy. Na juju. Na my village people. Witch dey follow me." Does this mean juju doesn’t exist? No. Juju/sihr is real. Believe me I know!. But even the juju itself is just a “sabab”. The person that did it is just the vehicle. Allah is the one who decreed and allowed it. Without Allah’s permission, no juju can touch you.
Sabab is an Arabic/Islamic term which means "cause, means, reason, instrument. Its what Yoruba people call ‘Sababi’.
Imagine a writer is writing a script. The main character is ‘Tope’. In the script the writer writes: "And Tope’s bag was stolen." Now in the movie, “sabab” has to happen based on how much the writer understands his audience. It could be a boy that snatches it. It could be an animal. It could be Tope herself forgetting it. That person/animal/event is the sabab - the direct cause.
The writer can make Tope run to another town to prevent her bag from being stolen. She can pray, she can be careful. But if it was written in the script that "Tope’s bag will be stolen”, then the sabab will still find her. The cause will still locate the effect.
Where is Allah in this? Allah is not a script writer who writes for the amusement of the audience. He cares for his creations (especially those who worship him dearly) and doesn’t want them to suffer. This is where Allah’s mercy comes in. Yes, the bag was stolen - that was the decree. But Allah can use that same sabab to elevate Tope.
Maybe she meets someone important at the police station. Maybe she loses the bag but gains a job. Maybe the pain teaches her sabr and Allah raises her rank because of it. That job loss sabab may lead you to your own business. That betrayal sabab removed fake friends from your life. That sickness sabab brought you closer to Allah and erased your sins.
So sabab is just the vehicle. The driver is Allah. So Don’t be too attached to the sabab. Don’t curse the person who "caused" it. Don’t think running will cancel qadr. Don’t run to traditionalists to save you.
Do your part - tie your camel. But know that whatever Allah decreed will reach you, and whatever didn’t reach you was never written for you. And sometimes the sabab that looks like pain is actually the sabab for your elevation.
What is sabab? No be only sabab! Why is not sabab when someone leave Islam or when someone insult Mohammed. Perhaps it is sabab to kill too. Then If it's reciprocated by other faiths, it's sabab too🤣🤣🤣🤣

PresidentMUGABE: Supporting Healthcare Education with My Visit to Ibadan’s Nursing Institution.
After attending the 50th/15th Biennial Conference of the Methodist Church, I proceeded to the College of Nursing Sciences, Oluyoro, Ibadan, where I interacted with the management and students of the institution.
I reiterated my belief that education remains one of the strongest foundations for building a better nation, especially in critical sectors such as healthcare. The training of competent healthcare professionals is essential to improving the quality of care and strengthening our national development.
In keeping with my earlier commitment to continually support the institution, I donated another ₦10 million to assist the College in its important work of training future nurses and healthcare professionals. This is part of my continued commitment to investing in education and supporting initiatives that contribute to Nigeria’s future.
I also encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, reminding them that nurses occupy a vital place in the healthcare system. Their skills, compassion, and dedication are needed not only in Nigeria but across the world. I urged them to pursue excellence, uphold the highest standards of professionalism, and become worthy ambassadors of our country.
A new Nigeria is POssible.

Someone once humorously said to me, “If you ever want to see Mr Peter Obi’s shishi, just dress up like a nurse.”
Otherwise, forget it. The man no dey give shishi. 😂😂😂😂😂
Beneath the humour is a profound truth about Mr Peter Obi’s politics. He is unrepentantly committed to what I consider the three cardinals of a prosperous society: education, healthcare, and pulling people out of poverty.
That is why I support him.
I don’t need the shishi. I take the shishi, but I don’t need the shishi. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Give me a government that invests in the future of its people rather than one that shares crumbs today and leaves citizens poorer tomorrow.
The shishi can come and go. But a good school, a functioning hospital, and a thriving economy can change the trajectory of an entire generation.
That is the kind of politics I believe in.

treesun: The opposition party described the arrangement as inappropriate, arguing that it undermines elected public officials by placing them under the leadership of an unelected presidential aide.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticised President Bola Tinubu's decision to appoint his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, to lead a Federal Government delegation that includes five serving state governors to an investment conference in Canada.
The opposition party described the arrangement as inappropriate, arguing that it undermines elected public officials by placing them under the leadership of an unelected presidential aide.
ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, expressed the party's position in a post shared on his verified X account on Saturday while reacting to reports that President Tinubu had approved the delegation for the maiden Nigeria Diaspora Investment Economic Conference in Toronto.
"Just when you think that you have seen the worst of this Tinubu government, they will just surprise you," Abdullahi wrote.
"How can the President's Chief of Staff, an unelected personal aide of the president, lead elected state governors on a foreign mission? It is well."
The criticism followed an announcement by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) that President Tinubu had approved a high-powered delegation to represent Nigeria at the investment conference scheduled to hold in Toronto, Canada, from August 12 to 15.
According to NiDCOM, the delegation will be led by the President's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
It will also include Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal.
Also listed as members of the delegation are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu; the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole; and the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The conference, themed "Invest Nigeria, Thrive Abroad," is expected to bring together government officials, investors, members of the Nigerian diaspora and business leaders to explore investment opportunities in Nigeria and strengthen economic ties with Nigerians living abroad.
Although the Presidency has not publicly explained why Gbajabiamila was selected to head the delegation, the appointment has generated debate on social media, with critics questioning whether a presidential aide should lead elected governors on an official international assignment.
Supporters of the administration, however, have argued that the Chief of Staff serves as one of the President's highest-ranking representatives and is authorised to coordinate official government engagements on behalf of the Presidency.
The latest criticism from the ADC adds to a series of attacks by opposition parties against the Tinubu administration over governance, appointments and the exercise of executive authority since the President assumed office in May 2023.
The Presidency has consistently defended its decisions, maintaining that they are guided by administrative efficiency and the national interest.
Awillologo: The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has successfully uploaded all its governorship and State House of Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, made the announcement in a statement released on Friday.
According to Yilwatda, the APC has achieved a 100 percent upload of its candidates for the governorship and State Assembly elections, describing the development as a major step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 polls.
I am pleased to announce that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has successfully achieved a 100% upload of all our 56 Governorship and Deputy Governorship, and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal,” he said.
According to him, the successful completion of the exercise underscored the party’s readiness for the next phase of the electoral process.
“This milestone reflects the organizational strength of our great party,” Nentawe added.
The APC National Chairman further said that the ruling party would now shift its attention to engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 polls while promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Just hours after declaring in court that he is confident the truth will eventually emerge and insisting that he has been wrongly imprisoned, Simon Ekpa was escorted out of the courtroom by Finnish police in another dramatic scene.
As loyalists gathered outside, cheering and chanting in support, Ekpa was heard saying, "I don't know where they are taking me," moments before officers led him away. The footage has quickly gained attention, adding another chapter to the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the self-proclaimed Biafra leader.
During the hearing, Ekpa maintained that he believes his conviction will be overturned on appeal and reiterated his claims that he is standing up for his people. Those statements, together with his emotional departure from court, have generated widespread reactions from supporters and critics alike.
He go tey for that prison. Make he hear am so his head go correct when he comes out.
It is because there are more evil people in Nigeria that's why some people will see the long over due reform being executed by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and you will wish his downfall. May God bring their prayer for Tinubu to fulfilment over their lives and their families. Amen
