Validated: This is purely an opposition thread. I would ask all others, especially supporters if Tinubu and APC to respect this. However, without prejudice to anyone's opinion, I ask you chose from these hopeful.
1. Atiku Abubakar 2. Peter Obi 3. Rotimi Amaechi 4. Goodluck Jonathan
Note that I am adding Jonathan, in event he joins ADC or PDP collapses structure into ADC as seen in some states already.
Amaechi is already silent. Jonathan is not in ADC.
Amotolongbo: - 14.JAN.2026 - To our brave Super Eagles,
You fought with your hearts, gave your all, and showed true courage and determination on the pitch. Though it wasn't meant to be this time, you have made every Nigerian proud.
Sometimes, even our best efforts don't bring the outcome we hope for, but the spirit, passion, and unity you displayed are what truly matter. You left everything on the field, and that is worthy of celebration.
As a token of appreciation for your remarkable journey and effort, l am still going ahead to fulfill the pledge of $500,000 USD. This is in recognition of your hard work, dedication, and the joy you have brought to our nation.
Keep your heads high, Super Eagles - the experience, lessons, and spirit will fuel even greater success next time. Nigeria will always be proud of you, and we believe in your future victories! Proudly Nigerian 🇳🇬

He should wait till 2031. He has a chance of winning that one. If the youths follow him, sensible adults will not follow this one. He is too much of a lose canon with less maturity. He talks Anyhow. For this 2027 election the idea of a place holder for Peter obi will not work. Take it or leave it.
On this Peter obi thing, one thing I m sure of is that Peter obi is going to flip the table if at all he gets the presidency. He will not give it to the north after four years. That's a certainty. The dynamics will change so fast the north would be left struggling for air. You have to be a fool to believe the south east (which the presidency will become if it's given to obi) will not do eight years solid. And I m sure the north is not so foolish to make such mistake otherwise we all will be looking through the muzzle of a gun. 1966 will not repeat itself. Even if atiku trusted obi and give the ticket to him, atiku can never be president anymore, Tinubu and wike camp will make sure of that. And there would be a lot many qualified candidates from the north spring up to compete with atiku. Atiku is not buhari. He does not have the integrity buhari has nor did he have that cult following, so he is going to lose especially with the likes of el rufai who has no loyalty but to himself, kwakwanso, shetima, sule lamido and co eyeing the presidency. It's a complex web but an ibo presidency is a catastrophy for Nigeria especially the north. The vengeance of 1967 will be paid. Bookmark this.

SlavaUkraini: Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, the 19-year-old son of Adeniyi Kayode, Anthony Joshua‘s driver, has rejected claims that his father drove recklessly before the crash that claimed the lives of friends of the heavyweight boxing champion.
On December 29, a Lexus SUV conveying Joshua and his team rammed into a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Two of Joshua’s close associates — Kevin Latif Ayodele, his personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach — died in the accident.
Adeniyi, who was behind the wheels, was charged with manslaughter by the Ogun state police command.
He was later taken to the Sagamu Correctional Centre to complete his bail paperwork.
Speaking about the incident, Ifeoluwa said his father was not speeding at the time of the crash and that the accident was caused by brake failure.
“Dad is not a fast driver; he was following the speed limit when the brakes failed. He said he was pushing the pedal, but nothing was happening,” he said.
He said his father tried to swerve to avoid the stationary truck but crashed into it.
The driver’s son told Daily Mail that Joshua initially sat in front but swapped seats at some point during the trip.
“He tries to swerve and avoid the truck parked by the side of the road but hit it. He’s been driving for Anthony for three years, he’s a good driver,” the younger Adeniyi added.
“I know that when the journey started in Lagos, Anthony was sitting in the front by the driver but my dad asked him to sit behind because he was blocking his view.
“He was taking Anthony to see his family in Sagamu and had picked them up from the airport and they were only a few minutes from arriving.
“It’s not his fault, if the truck wasn’t parked there illegally this wouldn’t have happened.”
Olalekan Abiodun, the driver’s lawyer, described the accident as unfortunate.
He confirmed that Adeniyi has pleaded not guilty and noted that the journey began in Lagos with Joshua initially seated in front.
However, Adeniyi asked Joshua to swap seats, he said.
According to Abiodun, the trip was to visit Joshua’s family in Sagamu and the accident occurred just minutes before their destination.
“My client has pleaded not guilty, and what happened was an accident. I haven’t had a chance to speak with him yet, but I know he says the brakes didn’t work,” he said.
“I also understand that the journey started in Lagos and that initially Anthony had got into the front seat, but the driver asked him to swap seats. He did this because Anthony is a big fellow, and so the driver couldn’t see the wing mirror properly, which was why he asked him to move to the seat behind the driver’s seat.
“From what I understand, Latif changed seats with Anthony. I know that when the journey started in Lagos, Anthony was sitting in the front.
“He was taking Anthony to see his family in Sagamu and had picked them up from the airport. They were only a few minutes from arriving.”
The lawyer argued that the crash may have been avoided if the truck had not been parked illegally on the roadside.
kettykin: Does this need to go round every where particularly the south east where even some brain dead keke drivers are playing rubbish Lagos music while driving. There was nothing I did not see in south east, from radio station to TV station to lounges, hotels, restaurants, supermarket all playing rubbish , meaningless gutter music. Particularly Aba and umuahia. Owerri, Enugu are far enlightened.
Yes o. Let every region maintain its culture and region. Enough of the parasites up and down.
AMINDA: Why are APC desperate to still posture with the Kwankwasiyya Movement when the leader of the movement has made it clear that the defection does not have his blessings?
You are being economical with the truth. You never want to take responsibility that boko haram was raised by the northern leaders themselves. People like ali modu sheriff and shetima didn't deny their involvement in it. Yet you want to heap the blame on the US. That's ineffective reasoning and blame shifting.
