Oshiomole remains the biggest political brand in Edo state for now. You must humble to get what you want. You people can't be fighting a supremacy battle in Lagos with Yorubas, who owns the land. That will definitely end in tears and lost. Yes Yorubas has their own shortcomings too but they are the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria. What the OP said is absolutely right. Igbos can't even allow fellow igbo who have lived in one of the states but originally from another eastern state to contest election. Bianca Ojukwu is a case study cos even when Anambarians made us to believe that Ojukwu is Thier Messiah and even founded APGA the ruling party in the state but still they tell her wife to get lost. Igbos are the most hostile tribe in Nigeria. I have lived and transact businesses with many tribes but igbos are something else. Only few are actually good. Benin city my state capital is a complete opposite. Oshiomole's effort to modernize Benin was thwarted by Obaseki a Benin man. Combined 16 years of Benin governors since 1999, yet the couldn't develop it. Others governors before Okowa didn't really did much but Okowa a delta igbo had the opportunity to upgrade Asaba. He shows he remembered home. With governor Okpeboho effort to resuscitate the water fountain at kings square, then there is hope for modernization of benin city properly.
