Whether Politicians end up sharing the houses amongst themselves or not, fact remains that the Politicians cannot occupy all the houses and ordinary Nigerians will eventually stand to benefit.

Nigeria currently suffers a huge housing deficit in all regions, so any efforts by government at any level to mitigate that ugliness ought to be embraced by everyone who has a mind for progress.

Who told you politician can't buy all. Any housing scheme that does not look like Jakande model as governor of Lagos state, will end up not addressing the deficit you are talking about. If government really want to succeed in reducing housing gap, they should ask Nigerian who are interested to submit their BVN and that will enable them to really know does who are truly in need. Be it civil servant or private. There will be embargo of not transferring or sale to other person for at least 20 years. Then they should subsidy it and let people expecially the workers, to submit their salary account and then deduct some amount as agreed by both parties monthly or yearly as the case maybe. Government may not handover the document until when fully paid.

Most civil servants cannot afford that. My cousin who is a civil servant applied and despite having almost 29 years left in service was told she is not eligible because her current salary cannot finance the repayment for 29 years. Then why is she working?

Please, Mr. President and Wike should focus on true low-cost housing for public servants and private sector workers. Only then, can you truly call your housing projects "renewed hope".

The leadership for Ohanaeze Ndigbo has said that it cannot take Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa serious.

Damian Okeke-Ogene, the vice president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo said Ekpa has already described himself as a content creator and can’t be taken seriously.
