So they just increase our debt service, increase recurrent expenditure and have absolutely no increase in revenue

Obi solution is to borrow money

Give it to the people, support business especially in export potential business and import substitutes

1) you create employment
2) you boost revenue, as this businesses come for the needed loan you capture them into the tax net
3) you don't increase debt service per say as the people would pay back the loan

This can kick start a chain of events that kick start the economy

OBi and Tinubu are not the same

If you take a closer look at this whole thing, Fubara seems to be on the losing end.

Fubara has been getting favorable judgements from the state court, which is expected. Wike and his gangs have been getting favorable judgments from the federal high court, which is also expected due to his connection.

In the long run, the federal court judgement is what counts. This is because if the case gets to the Supreme Court and this Wike guy is confirmed as the speaker, then Fubara is gone.

Wike’s men will move like a lightning bolt to impeach Fubara. Once he gets impeached by the pro-wike men, the show is over. Nothing the state courts can do about that.

The Nigeria police is federal. They will move swiftly to enforce the judgement. No amount of protest or violence can return him back as governor.

We all should learn to chose our fights wisely.

I did an analyses on the Landmark properties some months back.



The reason I cite the Landmark example is that real estate investors would tend to inflate their loss to defraud the government.

The following estate was listed:

WinHomes Global Estate

(1) Was WinHome Global Estate constructed on reserved land?

(2) Did the real estate developer go through proper channels to acquire the property?

(3) One thing that completely bothers me is that when these people make claims, they hardly support their claims with evidence, like a quantity surveyor report attesting to the cost of what they claimed was destroyed.

(4) What is the worth of the real estate company to be controlling properties worth $250million?

(5) When your rights are violated, you go to court, not go to the media. Why don't you go to court? If you don't trust the court, why did you trust whoever you trusted when you acquired the properties? Some entities would try to defraud the government and the public by inflating their apparent loss. We saw how Landmark did this and have not sued till today!

(6) Who did you acquire the properties from? What was the history of ownership?

To those who are hailing Fubara, I will advise that you go back to history and learn. Today some people are shouting and even crying about the election conducted in Edo but I can tell you that Asue should say "otilo" to that election. Just like Fubara, Obaseki conducted LGAs election and PDP won all the LGAs. He thought like any other politicians that winning and controlling the Local Governments in the state will give me the structure needed to win the governorship election for his successor without putting the FG in the equation

Besides, Obaseki erroneously believed that he had defeated the power at the center before during Buhari and that this time around, he would defeat them again. He has forgotten the two things that enabled him have a field day during Buhari. The cabal that did not want Oshiomole to continue to be chairman of APC and Buhari indifference to political struggles in the states of the federation especially when he was not be negatively affected. To make the matter worst, he called the bluff of those who supported him in the legacy PDP against Oshiomole like Wike, Orbhi and others at his own political peril

Unfortunately for Obaseki, Buhari and other haters of Oshiomole in the APC are no longer at the helm of political affairs. He did not ask himself a pertinent question if all he did and went scot-free during Buhari could still be repeated when Buhari is no longer in power. He forgot that the new Sherriff in town hates disloyalty under any guise with passion. He failed to learn from history and now he has bolted away

Fayemi had all his LGA chairmen to his side. The structure was there and very strong. But because Jonathan was not like Buhari, he following the advice and suggestions of his party PDP moved against Fayemi during his re-election. Ekiti state was locked down with thousands of security personnel and all the opposition politicians were barred from entering the State at the eve of his second term election in Ekiti. Some politicians were consigned to house arrest. The ACN/APC did not see it coming and they were so confident that there was no way Fayemi would lose in the state. Despite the so-called structure, Fayose beat Fayemi in all the LGAs. The state government and ACN party shouted but the deed was already completed.

Amaechi also thought with his performance in Rivers he would produce a successor and considering the battle between him and Wike, he also forgot the role Jonathan and PDP played in Ekiti. Amaechi moved to the APC, organised mass rally at the Rivers' state stadium with so many people and even Buhari in attendance for his new party but all to no avail. With the help of Jonathan and his wife, Amaechi's new party APC lost woefully to the federal might. Everyone saw how the the Rivers state Police Commissioner was not taking order from Amaechi but from Wike, Jonathan and his wife

It is really a high sense of political illiteracy and foolishness for anyone or even governor to think that he will beat a party or leader being supported by the federal might to the game. Such can only happen during Buhari and not even under Jonathan that people considered a gentle man.

The most shocking and unbelievable one is Ambode's. He also failed to learn from history. He had an ample time and opportunity to make amend with Tinubu in Lagos but he did not care considering the fact that he was aware that some cabals do not like Tinubu and the he would get the ticket as a sitting governor anyway. He forgot that Tinubu would be ready to put his life on the line for his candidate to govern Lagos state. Ambode learnt in a very hard way

Fubara needs to revisit and learn from history. I may not be right in all of my political forecasts but it will too difficult if not impossible for Fubara to win his second term in office except Fubara and Wike settled their differences or Tinubu and Wike fell apart politically. Nigeria's politics is too crude and dirty for anyone to think that he will win against the federal might. Rivers state will be locked down on the eve of the governorship election in 2027 while some of his supporters will be placed on house arrest as it was done during Jonathan in Ekiti. The winner will emerge and the rest will become history.

My advice is this: Fubara please and please choose your fight wisely. This is not the time of Buhari. A word is enough for the wise. Those who fail to learn from history are bound to repeat it in a painful and saddening manner

Wike was shocked when Obi, against all odds pulled out and wanted to contest on his own, Obi was smart, he had seen the sinking ship of PDP and he smartly left, that's his biggest masterstroke since he was born. He lost the election, yes but nobody believed anyone in a third party can score a million votes in Nigeria, and he had only 9 months to do the magic, with zero shi shi spent GENIUS.

Their elections has never reflected the wishes of the people of the state since people are controlling the state, and its resources from Abuja. Insecurity was manufactured locally by those in authority to create a situation of panic and enable them to dominate the state with police and army.

Wike has sneaked into APC through the back door, and the whole signs of what happened in Imo are present in Rivers state today.

The two states are neighbours, rich in resources and almost with an identical way of life. There is huge oil and gas revenue from the 2 states and hawks are gathering to feast on it, while the people of the states suffer.
