I doubt this. Ododo was the head of finance under Yahaya Bello who refused to salaries for 8 years despite paying 18k minimum wage.

That is a pure lies made available by some foolish Obidients. Yahaya bello paid 30k minimum wage. The staff that didn't get paid for some months are mostly the Igallas who deliberately as governors employed many of their kinsmen with double government jobs. My local government shared borders with kogi and inter marry too. No state was more peaceful than Kogi state under Bello during his time as governor. Go and fact check. Lokoja the state capital was transformed better than the way it was before he became governor. It was hatred they have for him, because he step on toes. The Igallas underdeveloped the state. A person will have a state government job and also a local government job and will be paid twice a month. He brought sanity to the system. If not for God, Bello survived two gastly car accident and one resulted in him with a broken leg. He set up the most formidable security outfit in Nigeria. He performed better than many governors that many people hyped. Ododo has now launched a mechanized farming system. He will now pay the highest minimum wage.

They gave excuse of non payment and according to them Otti met a collapsed state, even when he has been collecting monthly disbursement by FG, 13 percent oil derivation as oil producing state and taxes accuring to the state since last year. They want us to accept he met a bad state but don't want to also accept the president met a bad state of government from padt administratios. Hypocrisy smells in this people. Ododo will last last perform better than Otti.

Gov Fabara should just start retreiving all government properties in their possession. Next is to demolish the personal house of the foolish "speaker" and "house leader". Then mark all the other members' houses asking them to regularize their properties within 7 days or risk demolition. Others will quickly fall in line. Tinubu and Wike woukd have done worse.

No, Estako will not. I wish for sake of peace to give Owan east member the speakership position. We will sit and dialogue together for governor from Edo north, after successfully tenure of senator Okpeboho by God's grace. We voted massively for him and that was the highest votes in all the local government areas in the state. We have the capacity to generate 150k vote. Many people were annoyed and didn't vote for anyone. Tinubu messing up with regard to increase in PMS and been fed up with Obaseki. Labour fielding an Edo south candidate, was a big no in my LGA. I appeal to some labour leaders in my LGA to lobby professor Osunbor as thier candidates but all fell in deaf ears. Osunbor would have gotten at least 100k votes in my LGA.

Honestly, the minister is a performer. Hope Uzodinma is not a failure as governor cos he has many projects to his credit. His roads for instance are more durable than Okorocha's own. The only stigma, is having was how he emerged governor at first instance, which in all honestly it was skip in his favour. I can bodly say, he performed better than my governor Obaseki.

The speakers days are numbered. He was too vindictive just like Obaseki, how do you suspend the Akoko Edo member from my consistuency just because he didn't sign the impeachment notice. Shaibu made him, Donald Okogbe my representative his aide since his days as lawmaker and he also nominated him as commissioner at the beginning of thier second tenure, before he has him to vie for house of assembly last year and he won. How can he betrayed Shaibu for all this remarkable political ascendaery. Some lawmakers will decamped to Apc to form the two third that will enable that fool to either been impeached or he resigned honuarably. Nobody need his congratulations. He victimize our representative and this are among the many reasons we voted against pdp, even when Obaseki taught he can decieve us with illegal deputy governor and a faculty of a State polytechnics. Akoko Edo delivers the highest vote to any of the two political parties in contention on September election. The speaker blessing Agbebaku will not survive the next political onslaught against him. Either the second house assembly member from the speakers Owan axis will takeover or my representative will get it.

Honestly they fail to understand politics has no permanent enemies. Obi may decide to team up with a Northerner as a vice. Look at the guy from my LGA who was a candidate of house of rep, just last year but accept deputy position from Obaseki. Shaibu introduced him to the governor but accepted Shaibu's position when there was illegal impeachment. Shaibu is now in charge as acting governor and the guy may even go and pledge his loyalty to him and their friendship will begins again. Those people should eshew emotional politics and bitterness

Obafemi awolowo university named after him, was built by him. One of the tallest buildings and the tallest as at when built in Ibadan is still waxing stronger. Oyebanjo might just be another Awolowo in Ekiti state. I pity my south south who haven't benefitted the way it was suppose to be, because of bad leaders from the zone. The world is gradually moving away from oil.

When others were protesting, you people didn't because you guys were benefiting, same goes to Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani. Tribes of Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani and Igbo are mostly the biggest problem of Nigeria. You people are only complaining because you aren't close to power again. Same way many notable Northerners didn't complain about Buhari and now most Yorubas didn't also condemned Tinubu now. Igbos can't be exonerated. Under Jonathan, Nigeria withnessed second oil boom after IBB time. What did he do with it. What did we in south south benefitted from Jonathan's presidency. He couldn't fix just one refinery out of the three located in our zone. East west road was so bad, delta steel company at aladja delta state was in comatose. Jonathan contributed to the economy woes of Nigeria. Why subsidy many things because Nigeria was making a lot of money, instead of tackling the root problems. Ask yourself why many governors rush to Buhari, immediately he was sworn in for bailout. Even pdp governors were not exempted. Some states could not pay salaries under Jonathan and even federal staff salary was most times delayed. You igbos benefitted personal against performance in your various states. The late Ubah was the major importer of PMS to the country under his company called Capital oil. I personally knows his tankfarm at apapa then. There are others igbos too. Look at what only the former petroleum minister stole under Jonathan.

Obaseki didn't built it from scratch cos it was already on roofing level. There were court cases between Edo State government and Ibru family, until they settled the case not long ago. That building was to be Sheraton Benin just like other Sheraton in Nigeria which has Goddie Ibru the highest shareholder. Obaseki only redisgn some part and added extension to it now. It is so close to Benin golf course and government house.

Our zone, Edo north will produced the next governor and Shaibu is the most formidable candidate with huge political network and popularity across the state.
