MIPR...... is diz life!

Did you get admission letter? i haven't o, after two recommendation mails.

i even sent the dept mail, no response.

Actually got second recommendation mail a month after the 1st one. On checking my portal nothing appeared, but about 24hrs after I just checked my portal and saw "admission letter prepared: Yes"
A day later I got one mail in the morning wasn't really a specific mail and at about 2pm the same day I got the "admission letter signed by deputy registrar" (ready) and the acceptance fee mail.

Just have little patience..and if you can't exercise such coz of time and other factors you could always go to PG school to complain.

Lastly ensure your transcripts have arrived in PG school. I got admission mail a week after my colleagues got theirs, I think this was because my transcript got to PG school quite late. This however may be inconsequential.

Keji2008 I guess your friends department hasn't sent in the recommendation list. That is what is used to prepare admission letters. You and your friend need to have more patience for the recommendation mail and if you've got recommendation mails already then it means your friend was misinformed. Or better still she probably dint ask the right question.

whoever told you that is ill-informed....the department recommends, anything after that is pg issue...so if your dept has reccomended you,it is pg that remains to give admission

Mine also. My friend was at the pg school today, and was told that the dept is yet to submit the list to them. The waiting eh!

I got the mail around 3:15 I guess but I didn't check it until some minutes before 4PM

For wah it's worth I was recommended dec 14

same happened to me, I got a repetition of the recommendation mail

Should i be worried? I got a confirmation mail on Jan 9 that i had been recommended by the dept for admission.

This morning i got the same mail but with date changed from Jan 9 to Feb 1.

I expected the next step was the admission letter...i dont understand what is going on.

Hi nairalanders, am sure y'all have noticed that instead of travelling abroad to do masters or PhDs, people prefer private universities for them. Plus various factors are responsible for this choice tho.
I want to inquire whats the best private school for PGS?

Guy bon,even members of ASUU have their kids abroad.its not only the increase in salary,its the funding of the educational sector they are fighting for.

When the head is sick,then the whole body is also sick.
is it OGA FG who isn't feeling OK,that will come and make our educational sector OK. recently all he's been doing is travel for one treatment or the other.
Abeg OGA FG remember to treat ASUU too,, when u are well.
