I want to testify to what God did in my family in the month of February. My mom was very sick, she had severe malaria, which led to high blood pressure, which affected her speech and her locomotion (movement). It was severe, but I thank God for healing her, she is back to her normal self now, her blood pressure is back to normal. Some didn't have the chance she had, it could have resulted to death, stroke etc. I bless the name of the Lord for this miracle. Praise God.

You say, "My life is so messed up at the moment." Maybe, but the Bible says: "Now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be." Have you ever been to a construction site? It looks like anything but a building, doesn't it? That's because "it doth not yet appear what [it] shall be." But bit by bit under the architect's supervision, bricks beams and plies of sand start taking shape.

You may be a mess right now. Actually, if the church is doing its job, there should be lots of messy people in it, people being pulled out of rough situations, people in the process of being restored. No baby comes out of the womb clean and dressed up; pain, stretching, messiness and major life adjustments always accompany the birth process. But the good news is that you been spiritually reborn. You are under construction. There is a plan and purpose behind what's going on in your life right now. Things are coming together. You see when Christ comes into your life your spirit is immediately changed, but your emotions, appetites and attitudes still need work. Lots of it!

In each of us, there are areas that we need to be corrected and made whole, and until they are we struggle to handle them in dysfunctional ways.

Those who finger-point and say, "if you were really a Christian you wouldn't act like that," forget that falling down is just part of learning to walk. You can know what to do, yet struggle to do it. Relax! God is at work in your life. He won't give up on you!

PRAYER 2 - Tuesday, March 1st.

Prayer then, is relationship first and a transaction second.
Prayer is the conversation between a Father and His family. Wise children are obedient and they know when and how to talk to their parents.

The beauty of our relationship with God is that even when our relationship with God is not as good as it should be, He still invites us to come in and be His guests. And this shows God's confidence in His children that they will become better and better ever.

How do we pray? The ideal prayer begins with worship. We acknowledge Him for how great His name is. Then we minister to His needs on earth. Very often, we get carried away into thinking that prayer means only asking God things for ourselves. In the model prayer which the Lord taught, we ought to acknowledge God and God's needs first by asking that His will be done on earth. Then we can proceed to ask things for ourselves.

Our ideal prayer should always end with worship again because God is sovereign and we are His subjects.

We enter rest through prayer. We enjoy more of the peace and power of God in our lives. We satisfy the heart of the Father by establishing His sovereignty in our lives and circumstances.

In all our praying, we must remember that prayer is not a routine that we have to go through. It is a vital union with God. If we understand this and remember it, we can then go ahead to obey.

PRAYER - Monday, February 29th.

The Lord had a habit. He prayed so much that His disciples believed that prayer must have something to do with His success, so they also wanted to pray so much.

What then is prayer? Prayer can be described as dialogue with God. It can be described as the telephone that links men to God. It can also be described as cement that binds us to God.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are adopted into the family of God. We can now enjoy the benefits of having God as our Father. We have a better relationship and fellowship with Him through prayer.

When people want to get acquainted with each other better, they talk. If a man wants to get to know God better, that man must learn to talk to God and listen when God is talking back to him.

Prayer is the act of laying bare our hearts before God. This we do by speaking of things in our hearts to God, often, things that we do not discuss with other people. And then listening in turn to what God has to say when we read His word. In this regard, the Word of God is the mind of God.

In the relationship between a father and son, there are things a father will not do for a son unless that son asks regardless of how close they are. It is the same with God. He will not do some things unless we ask Him. If we do not ask, we do not receive. There is the tendency to assume that because God is our Heavenly Father, He should know what we need. He does know but He has shown in His Word that we should ask. God has made a promise in His Word that if we ask, it will be given, if we seek we will find and if we knock, it will be opened to us. God knows that our asking shows our dependence on Him but He wants us to know that as well.

MY DELAY IS OVER - Wednesday, February 17th.

Delay means to make slow progress or late. I once heard my father in the Lord, Apostle Sunday Popoola said that "Destiny delayed is Devil's delights".

The devil and his agents know that they cannot prevent you from getting to where you are going but they try to make you late so as to make you lose the blessing.

For instance, the children of Israel were supposed to have entered the Promised Land within 40 days of leaving Egypt. The devil knew that he could not prevent them from getting to the Promised Land, but he delayed them from getting there on time and they ended up spending 40 years in the process. Even then many of them ultimately did not enter the Promised Land. Some of them that entered the land did not live long enough to enjoy the land, because they were already old by the time they got into the land.

Abraham had a delay before he could give birth to Isaac. Many years were spent in agony and sorrow, years that he could have spent in pleasure and happiness.

Hannah too waited for years before she gave birth to Samuel. These years were years of shame and reproach for her.

So, what the devil does for a lot of Christians is to slow them down or make them late. He makes them do what they should have done in one year in ten years. At the end of the day, they are so far behind their mates and God's will for their lives.

Imagine, there are many people God has made very big but they are now moving at a snail speed. Many are married, instead of having all their children within five years; they spend 10 to 15 years looking for a child due to satanic delays.

Isaiah 54:1-3 says "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Enlarge the place of they tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations; spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes, for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited".

Receive this word from the Lord as a word to you that signifies the end of your delay. Start your rejoicing now by faith for whatever you have been lacking shall come to you in multiple fold.

Prayer: 1) Whatever is causing delay in my life, I plead the blood of Jesus against it. I command my deliverance now.
2) I command favour upon my life in the name of Jesus.
3) Every strongman saying I will not receive my blessing, I overthrow you in the name of Jesus.
4) Every strongman standing at the gate of my life, turning back my blessings is destroyed in the name of Jesus.
5) You spirit of delay afflicting my life I bind you and cast you out in the name of Jesus.
6) I command the judgement of fire upon every spirit of delay tormenting my life.
7) Every evil personality sponsoring delay in my life, I bind you in the name of Jesus.
Whatever satanic attachment in my life servicing delay, I cut you off in Jesus name.

Confession: Every plan of the enemy to make me run behind schedule, of the programme of God for my life, you are destroyed now in the name of Jesus. I overcome delay in (mention those areas) three times.

THE ENEMY SHALL SEE YOUR GOD IN ACTION - Tuesday, February 16th.

Nehemiah 6 vs. 15-16 says "So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month of Elul, in fifty and two days. And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things... they perceived that this work was wrought of our God." Note: "for they perceived that this work was wrought by God."

The wall was a miracle and a shocker because it was built in just 52 days and it made the enemies of Nehemiah to know that he was connected to God! I prophecy : "What will make your enemies to perceive that there is an invisible hand, working in your life shall manifest in this year in Jesus name."

Ex. 8:19 says: "Then the magicians said unto Pharoah, This is the finger of God..." I prophecy again: "What will silence every mouth and provoke your enemies to declare: THIS IS THE FINGER OF GOD shall manifest in you in this year 2016 and beyond in Jesus name."

It was Haman's wife, Zeresh, who advised him to hang Mordecai, but when the drama of life changed, hear what she said to Haman: "If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him." I prophecy to you right now; "By virtue of the display of God's awesome power concerning you, your enemies shall declare that you are unbeatable and untouchable in Jesus name! From this day, your enemies shall see your God in action in Jesus name!

BE PASSIONATE ABOUT IT - Monday, February 15th.

In the face of overwhelming odds, Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem in just 52 days. How? Because of a single - minded passion to do so. Some of us are afraid to pray "Lord, I'll do what you want me to do," in case He sends us somewhere we don't want to go or ask something we don't feel ready or qualified to do. You've got it wrong! The Bible says God's will is 'good and acceptable and perfect' (Rom. 12:2). What is there to be afraid of in that formula?

Now, while God's will for us is 'good' it's not necessarily easy. But He gives us a passion for it. Jeremiah said that when he tried to quit speaking about the Lord, God's Word became 'like a burning fire shut up in my bones' (Jer. 20:9). You can't contain a fire that God lights. When He sets your heart ablaze and you begin to see things you never saw before and get excited about them. He can even take your chapters of regret and write a story of grace.

But it's not likely you'll experience much of a passion for anything if you're just sitting on a sideline waiting for something to happen. James says 'Don't just be a hearer of God's Word, be a doer' (Jm. 1:22). You'll get a passion for anything If you're for God's will once you begin doing it! You'll will think 'this is what I was made for.' And when you have a compelling reason for doing something and know that God is watching and smiling on you, it makes all the difference.
