Buhari allowed INEC to carry out off-cycle elections without interference. Several State gubernatorial elections and Parliamentary elections were carried out under him with opposition parties winning significant numbers. Infact under him, his party lost an entire state to the opposition. That my dear, is how a democratic space thrives. It keeps everyone on their feet to do normal. But what we have now is a group of persons deciding for the entire country their own way. That, history taught us, never ends well.
