The person inviting me already paid for everything. Flights etc, she's the one applying online for me from france. Someone said it is not advisable for you to pay for flights until visa is issued. What do you think can be done?

I didn't know all these, it was paid by a french person not me, the write up are in french . It was booked from there.
Royals1st:
I advised you to stop saying your flight ✈ has been paid for go and read the team and conditions most embassies outlined that it is not advised to buy or pay for flight before visa is issued so don't even mention this in your letter or visa application it might result to unsuccessful visa application

How do i go about the booking of appointment. Is the process seamless, because flight has been paid for and departure date is April 15
It takes 21 days if you are applying for French visa for the first time but if otherwise it will come out within 7 days because your information is already in their database.[/quote]

richhills:
If I may attempt to answer your question, you are talking of visas gotten for you by an agent and not by yourself at the embassy.
First, you can go to the airlines offices at the airport to confirm it when you pretend buying ticket from them and open up that you want to confirm if it's real.
Secondly, some visas can be confirmed online from immigration or home affairs websites of the country that issued it.
thanks man
