please I am new here, I applied to Concordia University of Edmonton for MISSM (masters of information system and security management) program. I got an admission offer this week after initially denying me admission as at the beginning of this month. I was asked to deposit $2500 acceptance fee. Please how do I go about the whole process and what conversion rate would be used to process this payment?

I am also in the same situation as you. I applied to Concordia for the same program(MISSM). Got denied and then they sent an email days later that there is an open seat and offered me admission. then said I have to pay $2500CAD as tuition deposit.
However, I asked them for a deferral and they said I have to apply again and get re-assessed against Winter 2017 applicants.

To pay your tuition deposit, email Emma sheppard of Graduate studies and ask for payment details. Get form A from the bank, Attach your admission letter to the payment details and other documents as requested by the bank and proceed with payment.
Remember to mail Emma to accept the offer and also indicate that you would not be able to meet the tuition deadline as it is May 6th.

Rate would be CBN rate.

Please is there any one who has attended the Heriot-Watts University, Edinburgh Business School ?

I'm about to enroll for a Post Graduate Certificate course online n Business Management and I plan to get it evaluated by WES to get more points when evaluated with my Bachelors degree (two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees)

Please has any one gone through this process ?

I hear WES might not evaluate post graduate certificates for one to choose two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees.

Please advise as I do not want to enroll for this course and WES does not evaluate it as a grad certificate of Canadian equivalency.

WES has a tool online, however, there are no certificates or diplomas than can be evaluated using the tool.

There are other routes such as Canadian Experience class or provincial nomination in which you can become a permanent resident once you get to study in Canada. I don't think you should ply EE route at that time though you score will def increase. If you get a job after studies, it could also turn out to be easier than EE

I have three years work experience in IT security. However, my CRS score is just about 441. Im currently taking a Post graduate certificate online which would definitely increase my score when evaluated by WES.(two or more certificates or degrees)

Also, Im applying for study permit for my masters in canada. In the event that I'm in Canada on a study permit and I receive my ITA based on the FSW program because I would have more points at that time, would i still be eligible to apply for PR ?

Please Im in need of an urgent response to my enquiry.

Are students with valid study permits in Canada Eligible for getting PR through express entry before the completion of their degree ?

My situation is this:
I'm applying for the study permit. Coincidentally, I am also in the process of gaining another degree which would boost my Express entry points in the pool. (Just for WES to evaluate and i would have more points...Just enough to get an ITA)

Now, once I have the study permit and Im in Canada, can i apply for Permanent Residence if my EE points are enough to get an invitation to apply ?
