Guaranty Trust Bank is an irresponsible institution. They seldom reply customer service emails. Restrict accounts without reason, complicate their help-service phone lines - the majority of customers who call those lines arent there for self service, checking of balance or making transfers.
That route is majorly accessed for activities requiring speed example, reporting fraud, blocking cards or some other reason why a customer cannot use his account. Of what use is that when theres an unending delay while waiting to speak to a representative. They rarely even call back if there is a disconnect. Yet they scream e-banking!

First off, I don't think it is wise that the said "Chinese" email address is visible on one of the posts. Anybody could leverage on that and open that account at https://email.163.com to claim that fund. Take that picture/image whatever down.

Secondly, I would not risk my PayPal account by cancelling payment or creating dispute. So long as the payment instruction was delivered to the T.
The lady might not know how PayPal works anyways, so things should be explained calmly. Not to mention that this can still be resolved amicably.

Lastly. What is more distasteful about this whole thing is the name calling and insults. Trading names because of misunderstanding? With customers and prospective customers? BAD!

PayPal also puts hold on fnf payment. In such cases they send a mail to the receiver. The mail is generic (for both gns and fnf) also notifying you (Sender) not to fulfill delivery till the fund is cleared. The verdict of this hold; of course you will be notified of by email in 24 hours. The fund will be approved/cleared to your account or else, it will be refunded. If you check the header of such mails; the reply to field is the personal email of the sender. Probably so you can show them (or reply) to exercise patience for payment or services fulfilment.
