1. Is it possible to still see an earlier date like August later? My start date is September 5

2. Should I just pick the earliest date and apply for Emergency appointment?

I am trying to apply to Ball State and they are asking for unofficial NACES member transcript evaluation before my application is reviewed which is actually annoying because all the other schools I applied to accepted my unofficial university transcript and asked for official transcript after admission was granted.

Now I have to pay about $200 for a school I am not sure I would end up attending. I am considering this school because of the chance of receiving an assistantship but I am just reconsidering now.

Any thoughts please?

So I’m a first time dog owner and my Lhasa apso puppy (female) who is 8 weeks old and is always so happy and vibrant has been acting slow suddenly and isn’t eating well, not even her favorite foods that she’s always so excited to eat. She also won’t play with her favorite toys. She has also been digging the walls and eating rocks and also sniffing them. I always take her away and give her her food and toys but she’s just not interested in them.

Also noticed that her stool is black. She has been eating mostly pedigree puppy lamb and rice mixed with spaghetti. Also egg sauce, boiled egg, milk and biscuit (mashed), fish, vegetables like cucumber and tomatoes.

Due to the lockdown, I can’t visit a vet. I called my uncle who’s a vet and he thought it might be that she needs deworming. I plan to get the deworming meds tomorrow.

What could be the reason? I’m extremely sad and worried that she’s not herself.

Congratulations. Well, it's been quite a while and what I'll just say is Actuarial Science is not for everyone, actually, it is for a select few. I'm not even referring to the school courses now. You need to start preparing yourself for the professional exams from now. Also if you don't enjoy math or challenges, then start planning your escape route from now.

This is not to scare you. It's simply honest truth. However, it is 100% doable. You just need to be prepared and disciplined and you need to do a lot of internet research to be informed on the profession.

I wish you the best in your studies. Stay focused and be avoid trouble.

The animal I'm scared of the most is Chickens. I cannot stand them at all. I've been scared of them since I was a child. I'm scared of even the small chicks and I hate those big ones with the large and very red combs, especially the ones grey and white feathers. I'd pick a lion over them any day. I can't even live on a street where there's a chicken, my mind won't be at rest, even in my house. Whenever I go to a place where there's one and my friends are teasing me that they'll bring it to me, I'll just start running and crying on the road. When we want to buy chicken in the market, they don't bother sending me and when I go with my mum or sisters, I stay very far away from the chicken stalls. And the irony is I love to eat them, especially the head.

Once you're very sure you've made the right decision, then no problem. Further Math is no longer compulsory for Actuarial Science in Unilag.

Well, I'm studying Actuarial Science now. I'll advice you do a thorough research about it on google before going for it. I've been made to know it's REALLY challenging and it requires great determination and perseverance. If you don't like challenging 'stuffs' then don't go for it.

I quite agree with the poster. Well, according to what I've heard from different CEOs, while you're waiting to get a job, try to volunteer at a good firm, just for the experience even if they won't pay you (that's if you can o); also when it's time for recruitment, you'll have an edge. And try to. Brush up on yourself, attitude, get professional certifications. Students can also volunteer during long breaks so they can get experience and network before graduation.
