Politics › Re: The APC Bots On Nairaland & Other Social Media Do Not Speak For We Yorubas by kemus: 3:38pm On Jan 31, 2023 |
Alcatraz001: I have been away from Nairaland for over 3 years and have seen the total destruction of every facet of National life by the APC. I, and millions of Yorubas, nay Nigerians have also witnessed the vehement support given to the current administration by Bola Tinubu.
While watching from the sidelines, I could not help but notice the shameful descent into the abyss of base ethnic bigotry by APC boys on Nairaland and Twitter, who purportedly pose as Yorubas, to insult and denigrate the mere existence of our igbo brothers. This shameful election and campaign strategy has intensified with the national acceptance of Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
As a yoruba man, I urge all Nigerians to disregard any insinuation that sentiments expressed by these social media accounts reflect the opinions of Yorubas in Nigeria. As we can all attest to, the Afenifere and Baba Olusegun Obasanjo have all come out to endorse Peter Obi. And I want to assure all Nigerians who have suffered for the past 8 years that we Yorubas will do the needful on February 25. Do not be tempted to think that Yorubas are tribal bigots as being falsely represented by certain elements on social media, who are paid partisan hacks.
This election has nothing to do with tribe and Yorubas don’t have a problem with our igbo brothers. Nigerians are United in their resolve to reject Bola Tinubu and vote out APC at all levels.
I want Nigerians to know that as we get nearer to the election, Bola Tinubu and his media handlers will get increasingly agitated and intensify their ethnic and religious messages to divide Nigerians. Most of them will purport to speak for Yorubas on social media. But I urge Nigerians to ignore them as the last kick of a dying horse. The DSS should pay particular attention to the trolls on social media who will seek to pit one Nigerian against the other. The elections must hold and must be seen to be free, fair and credible.
P.S: I know some of them might them might rush in here and call me IPOB but I don’t care. Yorubas are too educated and liberal to support the worst of us on the basis of tribal or ethnic affiliation.
Alcatraz. You have spoken well brother. Good must overcome evil. |

Darren95: The truth is that, if Peter Obi lose this election, igbos should forget about Presidency for many decades.
Niger Delta don’t follow igbos oh, this people brought Biafra war to our land and killed our people. Thank God for Nigeria army. Same way we rejected IPOB it is same way we will reject Obi.
Niger Delta must support Yoruba (Tinubu) so that we Will benefit from his government and when power comes back to Southern Nigeria, we will be the next. Shame. How you are able to sleep at night after spewing this sort of rubbish baffles me. Speak for yourself please, no one appointed you to speak on behalf of the Niger delta |
Politics › Re: Who Do You Think Will Win Presidential Election In Your State? Which State? by kemus: 8:25am On Jan 16, 2023 |
Directway: I'm currently residing in Cross River State and I can bet with anything on me that Peter Obi is the man the masses are anxiously waiting to vote come February 25th. I'm not exaggerating but the whole street carry Peter Obi on their heads.
For governorship, it's still sketchy who will inherit the votes that brought Ayade to power especially as he now moved to APC. The battle is now between Sandy Onor of PDP and Prince Otu Bassey of APC, but for presidential, the masses have massively sharpened their PVCs in readiness to vote Mr. Peter Obi. And if election is left free and fair and votes really count as should, ....
Who do you think will win presidential election in your state and which state is that? Delta state - Peter Obi |

N3TRAL: Keep deceiving yourself. When people who are on ground tell you the truth you try to distort reality with lies.
Lies can get you likes and followers on social media but the reality is the reality.
You're most likely from Anambra State. All your posts scream Onitsha. From the responses you so far, a sensible person could sense the direction the votes for the presidency are going in Delta, except you want to play the ostrich. There is more focus by the electorate on the individuals flying the party flags now than on the party. By the way, my father is urhobo and my mother is Isoko and I reside in Asaba. You just dey misfire |

666Advocate: All South South Governors, Senators, House of Reps, House of Assembly, Chairmen and Vice of LGAs, Comissioners, Special Advisers, even Councillors etc and also millions of people that feed from their offices through employments are against Obi. Even South East and other Regions with political offices, but let me focus on my South South Region.
Obi controls no where. Stop involving South South to your nonesense. You are running everywhere when campaign never even start. Come see Atiku and Tinubu Campaigns from tomorrow wey campaign dey start.
Im Ijaw and i can never vote Igbo claiming parts of my Ijaw land. You speak for yourself alone. I am also from Delta state and my vote and that of my family members are for Peter Obi. How you justify a northerner taking over from another is mind burgling. We are for fairness, equity and justice. |

Politics › Re: OBJ, IBB, Abdulsalami, Gusau, Abdullahi Are Supporting Peter Obi - Sowore by kemus: 11:52am On Jul 16, 2022 |
LollySeaSide: I’ve come to terms with my observations about supporters of the presidential flag bearers of APC,PDP and LP.
The supporters of APC/Tinubu are mostly those that rely on government patronage, the existing corrupt system, brief-case/portfolio contractors and businessmen who have no viable means of livelihood or ability to create wealth outside of government. They depend solely on government to live.
The supporters of PDP/Atiku are mainly those who did not benefit from APC’s maladminstration, with hope that Atiku’s presidency will somehow allow them make money from the treasury, they are so used to free money from their days in government that the last 7 years have so impoverished them and they can’t wait to take over. They have almost same Idiology as the APC except that one is in power and the other can’t wait to replace the one in power. Nothing dissimilar.
As for LP/Obidients, the supporters are mostly self- reliant people, whose only dream is to have a working government. They believe Nigeria has great and enormous potentials and can work again. They want a new beginning for Nigeria; a change from the endemic corruption that has been the bane of Nigeria’s development. They want a RESET. They want Nigeria to be productive by industrialization. They want a shift from consumption to production. They want to get the ports working efficiently and effectively. They want to tackle insecurity by creating jobs through industrializing the economy. They want every child of school age to be in school because they understand that an educated populace Is a productive populace.
I belong to the last group. Nigeria must work again.
May God help us choose wisely. Best description so far i have read about the supporters of the main contending parties and aspirants. |

OgunLaakaye: You need to be sincere with yourself the most!
You lots should just chasing shadows!
Peter Obi being Nigeria’s president can only happen online.
Nothin on Earth and inHeaven can make such fiction come true.
You lots are just over ambitious, you can see the glaring truth staring at you, but choose to deny and look away.
Peter Obi will ONLY have the opportunity for his picture to be on the ballot papers, outside that, nothing else!
What movement y’all talking about? Can it surpass a quarter of what PDP or APC got?
When you talk of about campaign funds, Labour Party cannot even spend 10% of either APC or PDP budget.
When you talked about influential states, Labour Party presently has ZERO! Or you think the PDP and APC governors in those states will fold their hands and watch Labour Party carry the day?
Y’all need to be fvcking sincere with yourselves!
Even God cannot make Peter Obi president if reality has to be faced squarely! The Almighty God you have just dared will answer you and you will understand it is God who lifts up one and brings down another. Watch out |

Agriculture › Re: Cost Of Transportation Of Goods by kemus(op): 1:06pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
kagari: It costs
500000 - 600000 to transport a 50 tonne weight of load from kano to onitsha
Let's use an average of 550,000
10 bags of 100kg size makes 1 tonne
So therefore
500 bags of 100kg size makes 50 tonnes
So there to get average cost per bag you divide the price from the amount of bags
550000 ÷500 = 1100 per bag
So averagely it cost plus or minus 1100 to transport a bag of 100kg bag of rice from kano to Onitsha.
Come and update your price here

amiablesystems: It can be done in Lagos. This is what to do...
You need to take it to a Polythene dealer. The dealer will give you the price for the exact package and you choose the quantity you want. You then then the material in this thread to a printer to tell you the price for printing per product.. Easy busy. This can be done within Shomolu in day you can get all the information you need..
Search the forum, I have seen many printers advertised printing such work.Or create this same thread in the Graphics Section and you'll get tons of reply.. tanks |
