Nairaland General › SCARCITY OF NEW NOTES ON ATM by kendsage(op): 4:46am On Jan 16, 2025 |
It is appalling on the part of some Deposit Money Banks not to load new naira notes on their ATM but give it out to the rich and mighty to spray during occasions (especially this Festive season). Besides the level of abuse of the naira notes by this set of persons goes unpunished because they seem untouchable by law enforcement agencies. Just look at the way the naira is being trampled upon during these ceremonies and EFCC has turned blind eye because of the caliber of persons involved. We should all be equal before the Law. |

Thanks for your responses. You evaluate your highest qualification. If HND is your highest qualification then that’s what you should attach for WES evaluation. |

Momoney77: Good morning all, I have a question.. My sponsor is overseas and using her account as my sponsor, but she wants to deposit some money into my account here in Nigeria as proof of commitment. I have access Bank with some activities, but she wants to use my GTB because it's easier for her, the issues is my GTB doesn't have activity on it...
So am asking is it safe for her to send money to my GTB with no activity, will the statement of account look questionable?? Note: I am also going to print my access Bank statements.
Basically if I receive a lump sum into my account with no activity, will it raise any suspicion if I can explain it came from my sponsor? Do It Yourself (DIY) and know peace. You said it all my brother but most people are just too lazy to research on IRCC Visa so they pay agent to do it. This same Agents will mess you up and you will come here with lamentations. ONCE AGAIN, DO THE APPLICATION YOURSELF. There is nothing to be afraid of. You are even more intelligent than the agent you are paying. Just research, read this thread and you will get all you need to apply for Canadian study permit. Good luck |

slutky: Hello guys,
Please I have a challenge. I have my student visa approved already to start a Post Graduate Diploma in September. However I just got another admission for Masters and I prepare the Masters program. I hear that I will have to reapply again for another visa because I want to change school since I am outside of Canada. Please I need advise of how to go about it. Does it mean I have to start the visa process afresh again when I already have a visa that has been approved.
Please need advise [quote author=slutky post=130601368]Hello guys, Since Visa has been issued based on college admission, you will have to reapply for another Visa if you want to switch to the masters degree program. That’s the Rule. I will advise you proceed to Canada with the Visa you have now and complete your study at the college (defer your masters admission to next year and then reapply for visa after completing college study) because there is no guarantee that you will get another Visa should you reapply now using your masters admission. A bird in hand is worth more than a million in the bush. THINK TWICE MY BROTHER |

Yea. Everyone's experience with FBNquest is different so it wont be appropriate to say someone else's experience is a lie. Please let us respect each other as we are all here to learn and improve. I use FBNquest and each time I fund my account via bank transfer, I takes not less than 2 days before the money reflects and value commences same day the money reflects. Besides, I send mail with evidence of transfer to their customer service and account officer immediately after the transfer is made, still the money wont reflect until after a day or two. I think FBN needs to improve on that. I have not done redemption with FBNquest but the 1st quarter dividend took 4 days before it hit my current account. Generally, I am okay with FBNquest given the high interest rate which is very critical for me. 234ng44uk: I can barely understand what you wrote but I think you mean to say FBN offers same day subscription but redemption takes 3 days. Like I said, I don't know about redemption because I'm yet to redeem. Even at that, 3 days isn't a gold standard as there are assets managers that offer same day redemption. Your same day funding experience is yours. Mine took 2 days to fund and interest payment didn't commence until the 3rd day. Meaning that my fund was idle for 3 days despite funding from their edge app. That is my experience. Don't come here to tell us another person's experience is lies, how much commission are you getting? Some of us have no alliance with any fund manager, we're just laying the facts bare. Instead, tell us what you've done differently that made your funding same day. Did you pay by bank transfer rather than app for instance? |

CONFIRMED. Also FBN quest offers the best MMF rate. DBestDoc: I use ARM and FBNQuest. Overall, I'd say they're both good especially FBN quest.
with FBN, i've always had the same day subscription or at most the next day if the payment was made late.
The trick for me is that i never send my payment evidence to their customer care email where it would take too long to sort out, i send it to my account officer's and he acknowledges the receipt of the email and follows up on the subscription.
Even when i subscribe early enough on a friday, my fund gets utilized that day though it may not reflect on my account, but everything gets updated accordingly on Monday.
The last subscription i made was yesterday at 9:39am Nigeria time, i received an email acknowledgement at 10am and by today (sat) my account is updated with interest.
Try FBNQuest, they've got good rates and i've not had any issues with them so far. |

kendsage: 14.14% as at 29th of March. Yes, they have an app called FBNedge available on playstore. I check my MMF everyday by 3pm (no dulling oo and to avoid story I read on this platform) and can confirm that FBN pays exactly the rate published in its website. However, redemption might not be as fast as in AXA, investment one, Stanbic etc but that is not a concern for me. Higher interest rate and stability of it is key to me. For the past 45 days FBN rate has been over 14% consistently. FBN rate is 13.91% as at 2nd of April |

Beeps: The best way for topping up FBNQuest account is to transfer money to their account number sent to you when you first registered. Then take a screen shot and send mail to their customer care as well as the person who sent you initial mail and those copied Seconded. With FBN you have to follow instructions to the letter. Whenever you make a transfer, ensure that you reference your MMF account number on the transfer form. Then scan it and send as a mail to their customer service. I prefer to use the same mail trail at the initial account opening period. |

eddyakinrinde: So pls guys what happens now that we just finish a quarter, is it time for the investment house add the previously earned interest to the capital and reinvest or wot time exactly will they do that? It depends on the instruction given to them at the point of opening MMF account. FBN has cleared the accrued interest for individuals that indicated "pay dividend at the end of the quarter". Very soon they will receive the alert of their dividend into the account number provided. While those who chose " reinvest dividend" will have their accrued dividend rolled over and reinvested with initial capital. |
