STORM2: If u truly believe this then all i can say is u are wrong. Not all nigerians are corrupt. And u don't need any spiritualism to not be corrupt. Its a simple matter of choice. I choose not to be corrupt. You cannot be a self proclaimed corrupt Nigerian and at the same time point at ASUU and FG.
If this is truly your mentality then pls change it. Being Nigerian isn't a license for corruption. A corrupt person cannot bring about positive change. So you better make the choice not to be corrupt otherwise u'll be no better than our present government #serious mode#

STORM2: lol. Here's my opinion on the matter. Getting a first degree isn't easy. Everyone knows that. Now think of the journey to becoming a professor.
first degree, then masters, the 3 to 4 years spent getting a phD. Now during that time u must be reading oh.....and publishing sensible journals (those of us who have experienced project in final year should understand this)
now u will think that after phD work don finish but this isn't true. To remain relevant, u must continue to write and publish.....if u don't you cannot become a professor.
If you notice i've not even added the fact that while all this is happening, the lecturer has to supervise both bsc and msc students,lecture students, take care of a family, prepare lecture notes, mark scripts etc
So while this strike was on many lecturers finally had time to finish their research, some finally published something new (contributing to knowledge is work so don't let FG deceive u), some read up their project students work...etc
the bottom line is lecturers look lazy to us because we don't see them in class during strike but they are always working.....always. So not paying them for four months is just being unfair. Can u imagine not receiving pocket money for 4months? Omo i can't oh

Internally generated funds from universities shud also be channelled to developing standard of education. Av Been indoors for a yle now prolly months (courtsey of the strike).. Today I decided to hit the roads. Towards 4.00 pm I wore a three-quater Jean with a long sleeved chelsea top and went out..I saw so many things that startled me, so many structures have been demolished because Amaechi wants to extend the roads, new shops av emerged, new bars opened.. So many things that made me wonder whether I teleported to a new vicinity.. Among the things that happend which was the funniest of em all.. I saw one banner in front of a shop and the information that was emblazoned on this banner made me to pause my strolling and think for a yle say 5 mins while staring at the banner.. On the banner was emblazonzed '' BUY YOUR 2014/2015 JAMB FORM HERE ''.. I kept thinking and staring at this stuff until one guy came out of the shop and said ''bros con buy the form from me na, if you buy from me, i go carry you go where them go process am for you and you go get good centre''.. I simply just looked at this guy, smiled and said in my mind.. '' ONLY IF YOU KNEW!! '' then I turned my back, looked up, said THANK YOU JESUS and continued with my strolling..
