Here is a clear example of God's anger being aroused by Miriam, the sister of Moses because she despised her Ethiopian Sister in Law.

In another part of the Bible, the same Prophet Jeremiah who wrote Jeremiah 13:23 was rescued from certain death by an Ethiopian Official named Ebed Melech in Jeremiah Chapter 38 Verse 7:

Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the officials which was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;Ebed-Melek went out of the palace and said to him:

"My lord the king, these men have acted wickedly in all they have done to Jeremiah the prophet. They have thrown him into a cistern, where he will starve to death when there is no longer any bread in the city."
So the king told Ebed-melech, "Take thirty of my men with you, and pull Jeremiah out of the cistern before he dies."


Something tells me that if Jeremiah and the Israelites had been racists, then a black man like Ebed Melech would not have been allowed to be in the service of the King, let alone be on friendly terms with them.
