Lol. These our leaders eh! From jumping the fence to now trading words. I don't know exactly what's going on between these two governors - Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state and Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State.

Yesterday Governor Oshiomole blasted Governor Fayose saying;

"If the Ekiti Governor is too lazy to read and too politically illiterate to know what is happening in Edo State House of Assembly, we expected his psychedelic media aides to simply shut their loud mouths rather than behave like capering neophytes."

Biko what is capering neophytes? Anyway, governor Fayose has replied Oshiomhole via his Special Assistant on New Media. See the press statement after the cut...

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has told the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole to keep his mouth shut and stop meddling in Ekiti State issues.

The governor said Oshiomhole lacked moral rights to comment on happenings in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, having locked up the Edo State House of Assembly for over six months.

A statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka read; "It is unfortunate that we are in a country where people who should naturally bury their
heads in shame still speak.

"Aides of a supposed Comrade Governor, who look a hapless widow in the eyes and told her to "go and die" ought to know that they lack moral rights to speak in a saner clime.

"However, because we are in a Nigeria where anything goes, aides of a governor like Adams Oshiomhole, who relocated the sittings of his State House of Assembly to
his bedroom in the Edo State Government House can open their oppressive mouths and defend the Indefensible.

"Is it proper for a State House of Assembly to sit in the Government House? Should a State House of Assembly complex be put under locks and keys for six months? And can actions taken in the sitting of a House of Assembly held inside the Edo State Government House be said to have stamp of legality?

"Here we are with a supposed progressive Comrade Governor perpetuating ilegalities in Edo State with lawmakers of his party, APC sitting exclusively in the Government House where he resides with his wife and
children, and instead of his aides to remove the timber in their boss' eyes, they are getting concerned with the toothpicks in another person eyes.

"The reality is that whether the APC lawmakers are 15 or 5, the lawmakers cannot sit anywhere else apart from the State House of Assembly. Or are they saying
that the National Assembly can also relocate to Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos?

"It is our advise that Governor Adams Oshiomhole should solve the problems in the Edo State House of Assembly and stop meddling in the Ekiti State affairs because on June 21, 2014, the people elected their
governor in person of Peter Ayodele Fayose, and millions of APC evil machinations cannot stop him from governing Ekiti State for four years."

Jos-based comedian and musician Longji Joseph popularly known as MC Longs has died, 8 days after he was involved in ghastly car accident. (his car pictured left after the accident).

The married father of two was driving around 8pm with a friend on November 6th from Barkin Ladi Local Govt Area of Plateau state when he was involved in a road traffic collision. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors detected he'd fractured a few limbs. He eventually fell into a coma and was put on life support.

He died last night November 14th. His friend survived the accident.

The comedian said to be in his early 30s is survived by a young wife and two children. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

A young girl named Aisha (pictured above) who was going to school on a motorbike was crushed to death by an oncoming car this evening in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The lady was well known in the area where the
accident happened. The Okada man sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

At least 10 people were killed today after a female suicide bomber blew herself up at the Federal College of Education Kontagora in Niger state today November 12th.

One of the students of the school, Mary Okafor who spoke with AFP, said they were all at the library reading for their semester examinations when they heard the bomb go off

"We saw bodies on the ground between the library and the female hostel. Among the bodies were two dismembered women who we believe were the bombers. At least 10 students were killed and several others injured. They have all been moved to the general hospital. We have all been asked to
vacate the school. The authorities in the town have asked all schools to close." she said

A 34-year-old man, Mr. Shola Balogun, has narrated how he was allegedly kidnapped, but narrowly escaped in the Abule Egba area of Lagos.

Balogun, who digs boreholes for a living, told Punch that he was allegedly kidnapped last week Friday, November 7, by a customer he had never met before, identified simply as Babatunde.

Balogun further claimed that Babatunde lured him into an apartment on Jola Osho Street in Abule Egba, where it dawned on him that he had been kidnapped.

Our correspondent learnt that Balogun, after his escape, reported the incident at the Meiran Police Division.

A customer, identified simply as Sunday, had earlier called Balogun on the telephone, and had urged him to speak with Babatunde, who reportedly wanted to sink a
borehole in his house.

He alleged that Babatunde, who is said to be about 60 years old, lured him into one of the rooms and locked him up.

He said,

“I had not met the man before. It was Sunday who linked me up with him and said he wanted to dig a borehole. So, the man took me to the house on Friday.

“As we entered the building, he began to show me the rooms. Then, when we got to the kitchen, he said the door was not opening, and I should help him use the
keys. When I turned the keys and the door opened, he bolted it behind me quickly.

“When I asked him what he was doing, he simply replied, ‘Do you know who I am?’. At that point, It dawned on me that I had been kidnapped.”

Balogun added that he later managed to climb the ceiling, and noticed an opening on the roof, where he forced his way out.

“I was crawling through the ceiling with difficulty until I saw an opening on the roof, where I forced myself out. When I came out about an hour later, the man, obviously shocked to see me, ran, telling the people
around that I was mad, and they should not pay attention to whatever I was saying.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, said a case of kidnapping had not been established as investigation was still ongoing.

The Dreadful bomb blast that Occurred today claimed the lives of 47 children and injured 97 at Government Science Technical College, Potiskum. -Musa Ibrahim Yahaya, a 17-year-old student at the school who was being treated at the hospital for head wounds told AP

'We were waiting for the principal to address us,
around 7:30 a.m., when we heard a deafening sound
and I was blown off my feet, people started
screaming and running, I saw blood all over my body.'

AP reported that most of the bodies taken to the hospital were between the ages of 11 and 20, according to a morgue attendant.

According to Bahamas Tribune, Dr Myles Munroe, and his wife Ruth have been killed in a plane crash in. Grand Bahama alongside seven others, totaling nine people who died.

The tragic incident happened on Sunday afternoon, killing all nine people on board of the private jet. The plane was said to have struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.

The Department of Civil Aviation reported that the plane was a Lear 36 executive jet which departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) for the Grand Bahama International Airport. The plane left
LPIA at 4.07pm with nine people on board and crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

A bomb explosion rocked Azare town of Bauchi State
today, killing scores of bank customers withdrawing
money from an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) of the First Bank Nigeria PLC.

According to eyewitnesses, the blast occurred around
10:30am after an Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)
was sneaked into the bank premises and kept close to
the major ATM machine. A medical officer working
with the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Azare, told
Channels Television that 18 bodies were brought to the mortuary while the 35 capacity female ward of the hospital was allocated to those brought with various degrees of injuries.

According to the Force Public Relations Officer,
Emmanuel Ojukwu, detectives have begun investigation into the incident, with five suspects
already arrested. The identities of the suspects were
however not disclosed.

Azare town have had its fair share of terrorists attack
since the commencement of the Boko Haram
insurgency as last three weeks, an explosion at the
Yankari Motor Park of the town went-off killing 13
people while over 20 others sustained injuries.
