IslamAmerican Council Condemns Israel’s Call For Removal Of Muslims From Europe by Kennitrust(op): 12:38pm On Aug 29, 2025
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), America’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organisation, has condemned an official Israeli government call to remove Muslims from Europe as another part of that terror state’s “war on Islam.”

In a post on its Arabic account, the Israeli government wrote in part: “In the year 1980, there were fewer than a hundred mosques in Europe. As for today, there are more than 20 thousand mosques. This is the true face of colonisation. And this is what is happening while Europe is oblivious and does not care about the danger. Europe must wake up and remove this fifth column.”

In a statement, CAIR said: “This dehumanising and openly genocidal rhetoric by the Israeli government is just the latest example of its ongoing war on Islam. It is not only Islamophobic — it is dangerous. To label millions of peaceful Muslims in Europe as a ‘fifth column’ that must be ‘removed’ echoes some of the darkest chapters of modern history.

“It is further evidence that Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians are not isolated acts of violence, but part of a broader ideological war against Islam and Muslims globally. (cair.com)

“We call on all governments, human rights organisations, faith leaders, and people of conscience to unequivocally condemn this incitement to religious hatred, and to reject any attempts to scapegoat Muslim communities in Europe or anywhere else. Silence in the face of such hateful rhetoric is complicity.”

Earlier this week, CAIR welcomed a decision by Norway’s $2 trillion wealth fund, the world’s largest, to divest from construction equipment manufacturer Caterpillar and from five Israeli banking groups over Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

CAIR called the Israeli military a “terrorist organisation” after Israel slaughtered at least 20 people, including five journalists, in a “double tap” strike on Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza in which one bombing was followed by another to kill first responders – the so-called “double tap.”

PetsHistoric Breakthrough: Scientists Bring Back Dire Wolves Romulus & Remus After 7 by Kennitrust(op): 11:30am On Aug 21, 2025
The world’s first de-extinct animals signal a new era in science, raising hope—and questions—about the future of lost species.

by Shola Akinyele

In a jaw-dropping scientific milestone, researchers have successfully revived the legendary dire wolf, making history as the first species ever brought back from extinction.
The two pups, named Romulus and Remus after the mythical founders of Rome who were raised by a wolf, were recreated using DNA extracted from 72,000-year-old fossils. Scientists combined ancient genetic material with advanced cloning and genome-editing technologies to achieve what was once thought impossible.
Once apex predators of the Ice Age, dire wolves were larger, stronger, and more resilient than modern wolves, roaming North and South America before vanishing thousands of years ago. Now, after 72 millennia, they once again walk the earth.
Researchers say Romulus and Remus are healthy and developing normally, marking the beginning of what could be a revolution in “de-extinction science.”
“This is not just about bringing back one species—it’s about rewriting the story of extinction itself,” one lead geneticist explained.
The project team hinted that dire wolves are just the beginning, with other extinct species already being considered for revival.
But while the achievement has sparked excitement worldwide, it also raises profound ethical and ecological questions: Should humans bring back long-lost species? How will they adapt to today’s ecosystems? And what risks might follow?
For now, the world watches in awe as Romulus and Remus grow, symbolizing both a glimpse into our prehistoric past and a daring vision of the future.
The age of extinction may no longer be the end of the story—it could be just the beginning.

PoliticsPeter Obi Won Rivers State In 2023 – Rotimi Amaechi by Kennitrust(op): 6:01pm On Aug 09, 2025
Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has stated that Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won the presidential election in Rivers State.

Speaking on Saturday during an X Space discussion, the former Rivers State governor said, “I can agree with you to some extent that Obi won Rivers State, but I don’t know how the results were changed.”

Amaechi’s comment comes amid controversy over the outcome of the February 2023 presidential election in Rivers State, where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner.

During the same discussion, Amaechi also revealed that he and former Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, initiated talks that led to the formation of the opposition coalition now working to challenge the ruling party ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, what began as a private conversation between the two was later expanded to include prominent political figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Secretaries to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal and Boss Mustapha, former Senate President David Mark, ex-Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola, and former Sports Minister Bolaji Abdullahi, among others.

The coalition has since adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its political platform.
