Please who has had his or her WES verification request to University of Port Harcourt completed? Uniport verification is taking so much time, please help! In 2014 I read from WES website that they do not evaluate academic records from UNIPORT. I don't know if this position has changed. |

Back to more important things.
I received the golden mail this morning. It is PPR people! God has just been so faithful. Wrote to them yesterday evening Nigerian time and they responded that it was in Ottawa and hasn't been finalized yet. Only to wake up to the golden mail this morning. Don't know if they work over night in the Ottawa office.
19days from AOR to PPR. It can only be God. I put the barest minimum I could put (apart from the bank reference letters). Didn't provide a single bank statement. Didn't include payslips and appointment letters. Had plenty travel history for both my husband and I. I had nearly all my funds in my husband's account. God just covered over any mistakes as none were intentional.
ITA = 9th Aug
AOR=11th sept.
MEDP= 21st sept.
IP1 = 22nd sept.
NA2 = 27th Sept
IP2 = 29th sept.
PPR = 30th sept.
Will send my passports once I return to my house next week. Fantastico! It can only be God. As I rejoice with you, I tap into this grace. Congrats jo! |

IQAS has turned to tortoise ooo. They will acknowledge your transcript like 1 month after dhl delivers it and will take 9-10weeks to complete your evaluation. Unless WES wont give you a good equivalent, NO near IQAS yen Thanks. |

If you have LLM, you can use WES since the highest point you can get is the equivalent of Masters anyways. The advantage of using IQAS is that it is fast (not sure about this anymore) and they don't require any further confirmation. However, if you want to practice in Canada you will still need your BL. which is why WES is more preferrable but who cares about practicing right now. The goal for now is to get PR, we shall cross the bridge of licensure when we get there. Please when did you use IQAS for your evaluation? Has it been long? You said they don't require any further confirmation. Is it that they don't need further verification like WES that can keep one's evaluation for ages all in the name of waiting for verification from institution? |

it took 32 days to complete the assessment but i heard the timeline has changed now. IQAS usually sends three mails (one for receipt of your docs, the 2nd for your transcripts and the last when you assessment has been completed) but i only received two since i mailed my transcripts and documents together. Thanks for your response on LLB evaluation by IQAS. The impact of this will be much on the CRS score. Talking about an additional 6 or 7 points. Please how long did it take IQAS to complete your evaluation after the submission of the required documents(LLB transcript, photocopy of LLB certificate with photocopy of data page of international passport) in the recommended way to them? Thanks. |

LLB is what you need to send. I know someone who evaluated her LLB with WES as Bachelor's degree (four years) and she needs few point to increase her CRS score. If IQAS evaluates her LLB can she get the points equivalent to that of Masters degree. |

WES is your best bet! It is evaluated as follow ND is 2 years Diploma
HND is 3 years Diploma + 1 Post Grad. Cert. Please if WES evaluates ND as 2 years Diploma and HND as 3 years Diploma + 1 year post Graduration certificate,in order to claim points for education should one click on bachelors degree or Two or more certificates, diploma or degrees. |
