A pastor once did something similar to me when I was younger. He felt I wasn't dancing enough and decided to call me out to dance in front of the church(imagine such embarrassment). First he called a lady out, who he accused of similar offence, and humiliated her in front of the congregation . When it was my turn, I simply told him point blank, that am not doing it. He was shocked. He came to me and asked why I decided to disobey a servant of God, I demanded that he hands over his micro phones to me, so I can say my reasons to everyones hearing. Sensing I might say something nasty, he refused and left.
Marriage is not easy at all, dealing with over religious man, who doesn't see anything wrong with a fake pastor hitting his wife, even at her condition. You should have worned him seriously not to hit you again.

Your missing my point. Am saying in case of divorce, how will they share child support. Am advocating for 40% for who ever that is getting the child custody then 60% for the other partner. Reason, it takes a lot of effort/responsibility to raise a child. Some companies even consider this before employing you. This is one the ways it can affect your earning.

There is no reason for such law in Nigeria. At least 85% of men shoulder a bigger percentage of there child/children support. Most men almost single handedly provide the financial support the family needs. Implementing such law will simply encourage more laziness among most of our ladies. Mind you, the father and mother is suppose to contribute equally for the child's up keep.

But what am advocating is, if there is clear evidence that the man is not providing for the child, not the mother, he should be made to face the wrath of the law.
If the couple are not leaving together, the law should set specific amount of money(can be reviewed) which is deemed enough to carter for the child, depending on his age every month. To be provided by the father and the mother. The father should provide 60% of that money if the child is in custody of the mother, while the mother provides 40%(trying to factor in the difficulties that comes with nursing a child).
