sarrki: Let’s talk politics
Why do ACF that Atiku And Buhari stayed neutral?
Politics is dicey
We all show that we are sophisticated in the south
Yet afenifere And ohaneze always miscalculated always
Politics is not power or ranting
It’s played with common sense
When it comes to politics north is good
Aside the population that always give them the edge
They know how to play there cards
By staying neutral they it is a win win situation for them North isn't any good with politics, they're ready tools in the hands of British, that alone gives them upper hand. Secondly, they are violent, and doesn't attach value to human lives, unlike the South. |

Ohaneze could have not openly endorsed them openly
They could have been neutral and play fatherly role
It will backfire by February If Apc finally win
The shout of marginalization will start all over again You want us Ohaneze to pretend to love Buhari? Cancel there meeting for a man who wants there vote and doesn't trust them enough to appoint there own into sensitive positions, right? Voting any candidate doesn't rob the citizens there right. |

buharitill2023: yes, rated 148 from 136, we are aware, and that was in 2016, all the corruption in nigeria till 2023 was commited during pdp era, for instance, cjn was corrupt during pdp era, and alot of people in pdp will be expose, transparency international need to rate nigeria higher till 2023, because this is just the beginning of the fight against corruption. Bro..Stop and learn, every year the rating is dependent on many indices of that year not previous. Buhari who was PTF Chairman under Chief looter Abacha. |

theoldpretender: Our forex needs in 1999 were less than in 2019. Add the fact that our population was also much less...
Also,I should stress times were hard back then, before 2003...when oil started going up again, and when things got stable enough. Plus, OBJ was a saver.
1.Fuel prices were hiked in 2016 because the landing cost of fuel was N132, while we were selling it at N87. Buhari raised prices to N145, ending subsidy and that was how things were until landing costs passed N145 ,meaning subsidy was reinstated...and NNPC was paid the difference between N145 and the landing cost (N190 now).
2.Also,government does not earn money from fuel sales. NNPC and the marketers do...government pays subsidy to NNPC, nowadays the sole importer of fuel to keepprices at N145(SEE no 1). But the money only makes up for the difference between N145 and the landing cost of N190...meaning NNPC is essentially selling fuel to marketers as a loss.
3.If Bubu had not raised prices....government would have been paying far more in subsidy claims...to the point that we would have become broke. See Venezuela.
In 1982, when the late Shagari was in charge, oil prices crashed from $32 TO $9..ending 9 years of high oil prices since the OPEC hikeof 1973 in response to the Yom Kippur War.. That plus a host of other bad economic practices under Shagari and the final chapter of the collapse of our agric sector (began in the 1970...complete by 1982...when the last groundnut pyramid fell)..led to a recession, and a 'failed' attempt at austerity polices instituted in 1983 by Shagari. By the time Bubu took over in December 1983...the recession was underway. Oil prices did not go up until 1991...the Gulf oil windfall (by then Bubu was out of power).
So, the polices of the Shagari government caused the recession Bubu inherited. Bubu... "Recession was underway", Bad polices give rise to recession. Thanks for your detailed analysis, but need I remind you that, Inflation was hitting Nigeria hard and Bubu couldn't do a thing, till he travelled to London and Osibanjo save Naira to 360 per Dollar from 500, against what Buhari free fall. Obama inherited a recessed economy, but save it due to sound economic policies. Our population as at 2002 which is mid term for the two terms, was 130 million, with an average crude price of $22 throughout his tenure. |

buharitill2023: can you justify $400b receive by gej from oil sales and he could not pay salary for 3Months, 30 State could not pay salary for 10-12 months.
meanwhile, firs generate 1tr naira during pdp era, tax always end up in pdp pocket, but today, 5.3tr naira was generated in 2018 for infrastructural development. you want us to go back to that era when pdp were generating one trillion naira instead of six trillion naira. that was how corrupt free money was in the system without development. Sometimes, little education helps. Obasanjo started running government when crude oil was selling $17 per barrel with high debt profile, how come he didn't complain about Buhari helping Abacha to loot, but instead brought in economic stability. Do I need to remind you that Buhari, hiked fuel price in excess of N58, since Nigerians consumes 40 million liters per day, it means he was making extra 3 billion Naira. What has he done with all that? Secondly, if PDP was responsible for recession during Buhari’s administration, who caused the first as head of state? Bear this in mind, Buhari is the only Nigerian president with record of recession, more also twice.

Unfortunately only few of them have enough social moral intelligence to know that. It takes a less ethnocentric bigot bent brain to understand that.
Phony enough what are they going to say about middle belt who voted for Buhari yet where turned into salah rams while he looked the other way? Did those ones make stupid decision too even though whom they voted for won? All these shallow low IQ orientation in some climes sounds soo sophisticated but is very dumb even nation destroying on further perusal hence the moribund state of the nation when those who peddle it have their way. Abi a case of anything to paint igbos black. If they vote - they will be accused of voting the wrong candidate (even while the so - called right candidate is making a mess of the nation) They decide not to vote to avoid rubbish they get accused of trying to instigate division and disruption. They see a candidate showing a body language of carrying everyone along and having experience of how to bring improvement soo decide to support him, they threaten them with victimization if he losses. If they agree to one Nigeria and ask that every side be threated right and given a sense of belonging those screaming one Nigeria but pursuing ethnic politics at the detriment of the country accuse them of claiming marginalized for not joining them to play such selfish and nation destroying politics. If they ask for a referendum to ascertain if everyone is comfortable with the lopsidedness and tacit oppression, they get accused of calling for war. What can of zoo is this? Thanks for opening my eyes towards another dimension... "middle belt who voted for Buhari yet where turned into salah rams while he looked the other way?". You're damn right with your observation. |

Ohaneze is a toothless dog. They can't change anything. Go about your campaign and prove to them that authority pass power.
Tomorrow they'll come with their cry of marginalization. This is an opportunity for them to interrogate the president, but they choose to hold another cheap event on the day the president is coming to town just to create confusion.
Ibo elders behaving like children. You wonder why their youths don't respect their elders - this is why. Sometimes, you don't even know who to report the youths to because even the elders behave like the youths. It's in their blood to be sensational and unreasonably emotional. Park well, Igbos leaders behaving like kids in your language. We don't share the same values. We won't manage a terrorist or demented president. Your not emotional, but want to vote a president who brought recession twice to Nigeria, a man who's government is highly nepotic, who doesn't trust other tribes with appointments, but want there votes. |

As patriotic citizens we owe it to ourselves to keep people like Atiku far away from power. People like him will only take us back to the dark ages.
