I guess you've not been following them, Atiku started with a launch of his programs, he has been detailing those highlights, since after unveiling his focal points. Kanu Nnamdi was the one who alleged that, Atiku last week, asked Buhari to address the issue, which is the right thing. |

jayfolarin: Watching several non-stop ridiculing of not just Buhari but Nigeria and her citizens' intelligence on foreign media after months of unending lies from nnamdi kanu and his eastern brothers is absolutely sickening. This recent noise was only a whisper amongst the foolish a few months ago until PDP thought the best way to convince voters is to adopt ipob's style of hate and misrepresentation.
Whoever adviced PDP to do this, and I guess it's Peter Obi, goofed big time! I mean, big time!! Buhari is a phenomenal in the NORTH and you better be very well damn ready if You wanna mess with someone like that!
If you think the north will ever forgive and forget the party and group of people that started and popularized the death and 'clone' story of their favourite SON (Buhari), you are in a Dreamland! PDP and igbos have orchestrated the demise of their relevance in Nigerian politics and February 2019 is gonn be the final goodbye.
The winning margin for buhari in 2019 is gonn be soooo much, it will freak people out! Yoruba will takeover in 2023 and it will be soooo damn easy. You know what they say......."Nothing unites people more than a common enemy". If you know, you know.
Igbo presidency? 90% of the people on this forum (and that includes the 14 and 15 year olds) will be old, long dead and gone before that happens.
The NORTH never FORGETS! Common enemy indeed. You are celebrating common enemy while, Nigeria is now 1. Poorest nation 2. No power {4000] 3. Full of insurgency 4.High mortality 5. Highest IDP in Africa 6. High illiteracy rate 7. No infrastructure |

Naajjii: It's on record that the root of all what Nigeria is facing today started from way back. Right from when some ethnically motivated people staged the first military coup. So if Nigeria is in this state today where we have poorest people in the world, where we have Boko harem, militants, tribalism, corruption and ills all over, we can trace it right back to the foundation when British created Nigeria plus those ethnically driven soldiers who staged the first coup, including military rulers Gowon , Babginda, Abacha,Obasanjo,, yaradua , jonathan , now Buhari. So all the issues we are facing started way back including THE MENTALITY of your people who taught Nigerian coup plotting which lead to successive military take over and eventually where we are today. Why are Nigerians more passionate about IPOB and Biafra related issues, instead of showing same level of energy and commitment to Nigerian plight? I've watched my fellow Nigerians closely, they invest more energy plotting against IPOB and Biafra, instead of proffering solutions to issues mitigating the growth of the nation. It's naturally expected to see citizens of any country to show ardent concern to their country first. Book Haram is ravaging the nation, killing over a 118 soldiers, people are loosing their jobs, no power ...Yet, the citizens are busy antagonising IPOB, who are tired of the status quo and need a change. Is it that Nigerians love the pain of joblessness, no power, insurgency and economic hardship? Does it occur to many of us that by 2040, oil will sell less than $30 because, all European nations,USA and China will stop the use fossil cars? How do we generate revenue? Does it bother you? We pay $30 per barrel to the Company that thrills oil from deep waters. Defending Nigerian retrogression is like defending the devil. Countries like Mauritius, Cyrus, Brazil and Singapore got there independent around same time. And if you say population is the problem, what do you make of China,Brazil and USA? I'm ashamed of you. Proffer solution(s) to the difficulties facing Nigeria, stop investing energy on others problem. |

KanwuliaExtra: Yes, we disagree. The reason we are going back and forth. There is bigotry all over the world.
Let me explain to you. BREXIT is not BIAFRA. Nigeria has the upper hand and will NEVER allow BIAFRA to happen. Britain had the upper hand, unlike BIAFRA.
Once again, GOOD LUCK with uour dreams! Even Ojukwu came back and wanted to be a senator in Nigeria, having realized BIAFRA WAS JUST AN ILLUSION,
Good luck! Sorry which Nigeria has upper hand? It's either you're too young, or your living in self deceit. The nation is a laughing stock among the league of nations. It's known for tactically supporting terrorism, giving them Amnesty, for being corrupt, lack of opportunities and is worst place to birth a child. Nigeria is economically founding up, with the introduction of electric cars, it signalling an end to Nigerian oil dependent economy. If you have another alternative bring it, there's high level of infrastructural deficit. How long will Nigeria borrow to fund her budget?

Nowenuse: I admire this piece and believe me I think I am now a fair supporter of the concept of Biafra or disintegration of the country.
However, @bolded. Brazil gained independence from Portugal about 200 years ago. No Latin American country gained independence in the 20th century. They all did in the 19th and 18th century. Mauritius is an extremely small country.
The countries I think you should be comparing to Nigeria (outside Africa) are India & Pakistan. Not necessarily cos I think that they're at a close level of development like Nigeria, but because they were both colonized by the British and gained independence at a similar time frame with Nigeria. They have large populations and are multi ethnic nations, even though both India & Pakistan are not equally divided by different religions like Nigeria.
Countries like Egypt manage to make better progress than Nigeria in my own view because they are ethno-religiously homogenous.
Look at the likes of Ethiopia & Congo. They are among the most populated countries in Africa with ethno-religous diversity just like Nigeria. These countries are worse than Nigeria.
Large colonized nations with strong ethno-religious diversities are not just meant to make progress in my view. If anyone thinks the contrary, they should bring forth a suitable example of a large progressive ethno-religiously divided country. Thanks for offering enlightenment to dark areas. I've been too busy lately, couldn't give attention to every tiny detail proofreading became a problem. I'm light in my mind for your submission, respect! |

Many BH foot soldiers are Chadians. You should do more research on war in a country and its effect to neighboring countries. They're only effective in areas where the locals accommodates them. If there be any form of such bombing in the East, I pity the Northerners there. I know that some people will come here and start shouting let's divide the country let's divide the country.
Let me be honest with you even if the country is divided we can do little or nothing about terrorism because it is already here, terrorism is like a cancer difficult to cure.
If the SE secede they won't escape from terrorism, let's say if the terrorist finally conquer the North (God forbid) it will be pretty much more easier for them to penetrate to the southern part of the country, either by force or using gorrila war tactics. In a nutshell we are all victims of circumstances, we are all caught up in the middle of nowhere.
Let's join hands and support our military to defeat the blood thirsty demons. Which South East? Is Israel not close to Lebanon (Hezbollah), Palestine, again... Is Afghanistan not close to Iran? If you have a functioning independent state, terrorism won't Foster. Igbos aren't an Islamic state, and so... Terrorism can't have a hold in our domain. Ghana stopped the menace of Fulani Herdsmen with just an instruction from there President last year. Nigeria is pampering Terrorists, is Nigeria not giving them Amnesty? Are the North elders not indirectly supporting them? Buhari said, a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the North, so... What other form of support do they need to foster? |

"From an enlargement of the N-Power programme [government loan scheme for young graduates] to investing in technology and creative sector jobs to agriculture and revolutionising access to credit for entrepreneurs and artisans, there is scope for over 15 million new jobs."
