kendo58: Hi guys, I need advice. A friend of mine said he has a link to a dubai working visa. He said the company is a security company and that I have to pay 650k for a 3-year work visa. The contract with the company is 1 year and the pay is about 2700drm. What do you guys think about this? Is it a good deal? Should I consider taking up his offer? Instead of paying someone 650k and more later, why not migrate with that money and try to find a job urself over there...my one penny though |

babbs45: @kessel, what happened to your nursing certificate? Can't you use that to migrate to Australia? Things that has advantage can be a disadvantage too. After going thru hell to get that license,I will still go and spend months and money reading again and spending money before I can sit for foreign exams and still wait for God knows how long before I get a visa. I jus concluded it wld be better to forget the license for now.and further my life thru other means and if I see a good nursing job along the way, fine but if not.... I love being a nurse but not in Nig. I applied to a hospital in Enugu and they told me my salary was going to be 35k a month...after 6yrs in school with 3 certificates......hmm I just need to leave this country weather with nursing or waec..I don't mind |

mcjendol: @kessel let not your age discouraged you I have seen a 42 year old got her visa with o level result and some years of experience related to the course she aplied for on this thread she's now in au with her family.forget about pr for now,you can't get a pr with o level.apply for courses related to your work experience. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I guess my next plan now should be getting a uni and course in my line of experience. |

bhanjjie: I think it would be better for you to further your studies than looking at routes to PR with O level results. I'm not sure you stand a chance with O level results. My thoughts... Someone once told me that my age could be a barrier for an undergraduate admission. Am 30 by next month. This age thing is still the same reason I forgot about US. This is a one time opportunity I got and I don't want to blow it |

Ifexsco: For PR, you have to check up your occupation on the CSOL or SOL. Check the assessing body and what they require from you. I don't know any occupation you can apply for with o'level, I stand to be corrected. You should then know if you are qualified. If na hustling things dey your mind, I don't think Australia is the country for you! The country is an isolated island and that keeps their strict immigration laws almost tamper-proof. If you have the money and o level subjects, you could try TAFE which is equivalent to our polytechnic. If your course is up to 2years, you are entitled to post study visa, with which I guess you can work, gather experience all in preparation to apply for PR. It might not be as straightforward. Thanks for the advc. Please how and where do I check up the CSOL &SOL stuff. |

Pinoralia: Why is no one replying Kessel?
Kessel, it s a lot easier if you hold a University degree certificate and related experience to the course you studied. I'm not saying it s not possible. Try and take IELTS and let's see how it goes.
All the best. Thanks ,IELTS scheduled for next month, though I really don't know what I maybe using it for as I don't know the best option or type of visa to apply for so I was hoping someone here could give me a little advice on the best choice of visa for me since I only have WAEC cert and 8years of work experience. |
