Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Which Job Interview That You Didnt Scale Through Almost Broke Your Heart by Kevinoh: 8:16pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
My own experience was with oiltest group in ph. I applied for the position of Trainee Field technologist which was advertised for mechanical and electrical engineers. After passing the test I was invited for an interview about two weeks later. I packaged myself and my cv very well hoping for the best. When it was my turn for the interview, I walked in to meet a 5-man panel with the director siting directly opposite me on the other end of the large spherical table in their conference room. Director: May we meet u? Me: My name is ......( I said all the need full) Director: From your cv I can see you have some HSE courses Me: Yes sir (smiling sheepishly) Director: Are you an Engineer or a safety officer? Me: Puzzled by the question, I replied " I'm a Mechanical engineer sir, but I understand the importance of safety especially in the oil & gas industry. Director: Your cv says you have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Me: Yes sir that's correct Director: Hmm, where did u see this job advert? Me: I saw it online sir Director: What did u see when you saw the advert? Me: I stated all the requirements I remember including a minimum of HND in either mechanical or electrical engineering Director: Sorry we want only HND engineers, thank you. I left feeling disappointed asking myself whether it was a crime for me to have done those HSE courses I did and also when minimum of HND meant strictly for HND The most annoying thing was that we had submitted all our credentials both at the application stage and the accreditation stage just before the interview. How come I was invited for the test in the first place and wasn't also disqualified during accreditation Honestly it too me a while to get over it. Smh |

Politics › Other Political Parties Should Learn A Lesson Or Two by Kevinoh(op): 5:56pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
I think it's high time other political parties learnt a thing or two from Apc's boldness and bravery to challenge the almighty ruling party Pdp by merging to form a stronger alliance. Perhaps if we have a third or even more stronger parties spring up, there will be some sort of healthy competition for whichever party is in power to impress the people and move the country forward in order to earn our votes and retain power.
Watching the collation exercise on tv, I heard a lot of parties I never knew existed earning very little votes.
Just an observation. |

chibecanglobal: It may interest you to note that the strong case against him borders on perjury and also failure to adhere to the guidelines and rules relating to INEC form 001.All that is required is for the plaintiffs to prove that he perjured and that he did not satisfy the rules. The constitution is explicit on those ponts. Hmm... interesting. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Won But Not Presidential Seat, Read This by Kevinoh: 7:26pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
sollysms: Yes, buhari won d election, but he didn't win d seat of presidency...why because under d constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria,in order for a contesting Presidential candidate to win the seat from d current occupying president, who is also running for another term, the contesting candidate has to have at least 25% vote from each state the current president has won with d latest result update,
JONATHAN won 13 STATES, BUHARI has a total of 21STATES...But mind you, BUHARI has 25% vote in only 8 STATES which JONATHAN has won...so BUHARI doesn't get to be president. Guys lets pardon the dude, I guess he has a major in arts and not sciences |

That an employee doesnt know that a recruitment process is currently going on in his establishment, doesnt mean the process is not legit. My current Boss in one of the Electricity Discos told me he was surprised when he saw us resume. He neva knew they were recruiting.
Bottom line, check nd scrutinize the invite properly. Only when money is been asked should u drag a red flag.

Romance › Ladies, Do You Really Love Football Or You Just Endure For The Sake Of Your Boo? by Kevinoh(op): 12:00am On Feb 19, 2015 |
I met this pretty girl the other day and we got talking. She had a Man U jersey on and I asked her what her favourite team was and she touched her jersey stylishly and said "Gunners for life" For a second I thought she was kidding but she repeated the same statement with swagg. I just smiled in order not to make her feel embarrassed.
Personally I am not a football fan and I feel kinda weird when fellow guys ask me about the score line of some supposedly interesting match that was just played recently and I don't only know the scores but didn't even know such a match took place.
All my brothers and male friends love watching football and most are die hard fans of a particular club but I just don't find that much joy in it. I stare at them in awe when they scream and argue at the top of their voices and wonder how and why I am not overwhelmed by such. I hope I'm not the only guy out there who lacks much interest in watching football. |
Romance › Re: Why Do Men Now Have Phobia For Virgins! by Kevinoh: 5:39pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
Virginity is not necessarily chastity, it could just be as a result of lack of desired opportunities to get undone. My first virgin ex girlfriend of 4 years ago still calls and adores me till date saying she has not met a guy that thinks the way I do just because I didn't convince her much to give in to me after my first few trials. She trembled in fear and sweated profusely each time (make i no go kill person pikin ).Perhaps she would never know the truth is that I lost interest because the whole being a virgin thing was and is still overrated |

Romance › Re: Ladies: Is This The Latest Trick To Deceive Guys ?? by Kevinoh: 6:49pm On Feb 17, 2015 |
JoeCutie: These sort of insensitive and desperate move by ladies is in a bid to getting guys who are always absentmindedly, so interested in the outer part of the ladies. And guys in this category always like to touch and also, have sex with every girl they find interesting. Now, what do you think a guy (who only identified with a lady just because of her supposed big boobs & big ass) would do if he takes a lady in, undresses her and sees this? Some very myopic lady-desperadoes are ignorantly destroying their future - their lives.
If a lady uses this trick on me, mine would be very simple. I won't do much to her. Let's say I found out as I undressed her and about to travel into that tunnel... 1.) I'd just strip her naked - stark naked. I'd tie her hands and feet to the bed, making sure that her legs are widely spread. Of course, I'd have stuffed her mouth already with her pant and bra.
2.) I'd put on a pair of hand gloves, open her basement, and make sure I stuff the whole material with which she bolstered her yansh, into her punny. I'd make sure that all the material enters into her useless punny very well.
3.) I'd take a picture of her... "Punny Experiment Things".
Whatever happened to acceptance of self? Rubbish!
As a lady (and a guy too), you should take good care of yourself. Fine. But a good number of girls are so annoyingly and unnecessarily, conscious of their bodies. Some of them practically worship their bodies. This is so bad. And to think that many of them always accuse the guys of sleeping with, and dumping them, thereby, degrading the value of women? Tell me, why won't they sleep with you and dump you, when you make it obvious that the only thing you can offer lies in and with your body? This is a very sad and pathetic hustle that many ladies have chosen to take up, and it's very appalling... unfortunately.
God help these ladies who indulge in these rather shameful acts. Please God is too holy to be mentioned in this mess. Besides you are beginning to sound weird like some kinda rapist! |
Romance › Re: Things That Girls Secretly Envy About Guys. by Kevinoh: 6:25pm On Feb 17, 2015 |
Battle of the sexes! It's really not easy being a lady. I remember when I did my first braids back in school as a guy, I had headache for like 3 good days After that experience I felt really sorry for our lovely ladies that had to go through this pain on a regular basis just to look good for us. Ladies are truly special beings and should be handled with care #except the evil ones # |
