Ehimeomo: Uh oh… why don’t you just try IW, if they need you to appear, then they’ll invite you. Idk.. I had a baby in U.S 2019, yet I got an IW approval without interview. |

Ehimeomo: Yea, you can include your U.S born child. I did that and got my visa approved last month (IW). |

I applied for IW, visa expired 18months ago. Drop box on the 18th Got a pick up mail on 26th Picked up my passport without any visa sticker nor any refusal/ interview paper. My tracked status say “application received” hasn’t been updated since 18th oct. The dhl personnel said there might be a disruption and they’ll email me probably. Idk. |

jpepper: Yea, I agree with you. My Canadian experience & career choice (Dr) might be a disadvantage to me, since there are better career prospects I guess. |

oluayebenz: I applied via online route. As a student , I travelled home/USA every summer I left right after my graduation. Did not apply for extension, Got visitors visa, visited my siblings twice. My siblings graduated and left too. (Just completed MD school in USA) My parents and siblings all have current Canadian visa ( regretting why I didn’t apply with them for my brothers graduation, never knew Canada will deny me). It’s really annoying to say the least. So I can’t even visit my friends or attend reunions. |

I’m so damn pissed, why would they assume I want to be an illegal immigrant, I qualify to even be a Canadian PR if I wanted to ( lived and work), + I’m in my 20s ( most of my friends with similar history are getting PR express approved). I hate that they can’t even give me the benefit of doubt and assume I want to use the wrong application process to get back in. |

oluayebenz: Travel history: CANADA , USA( more than 10x like since I was a kid), FRANCE, UK (10 yers visa), CANCUN, ASIA (holiday), barabdos (vacation), Brazil (vacation), Assets: I only put 1 Land but I added businesses (hotel buildings). And shares. TBH I feel there is another factor that they aren’t mentioning. My siblings schooled and left Canada last year after graduation, Could it be that they’re still in the system and I’m not mentioning them? |

Hello, so I reapplied for trv after I was initially denied based on employment . In my second application I included my business and family businesses (I am a final year int’l medical student , so I only stated my student status in my first application). This time I was denied based on family ties & financial assets whereas that wasn’t a reason in my previous application. (I am married with a kid, I submitted enough funds, I’m not convinced about the reason. Anyways I’m more upset because i attended HS & university in Canada (6 years) and I left Afterwards. Also I visited Canada like 3 years ago and came back. Could it be that me being a doctor and Nigerian, they assume I want to run away? Lol. |

emeify: I’m yet to renew my U.S visa. I didn’t really add anymore ‘ties’ to my application. I’m planning to re apply and provide more family/personal details such as; assets , properties, husband’s company etc. I’m just worried that listing my family business as an employment in my new application may be conflicting with my old application (I only ticked studying). What are the chances of getting an approval on if I reapply with strong employment and family ties. Another rejection isn’t worth it for me. |

Hello guys, I recently applied for a visiting visa to Canada as a back up plan for childbirth (I intend to also apply to U.S as I had my first child there). I actually thought Canada will be easy breezy for me since I obtained my first degree from there. Sadly I was denied. I had an acct balance of 10k USD. My husband acct 6m I visited Canada in 2014 I attended university in Canada 2008-11 I’ve been traveling to U.S.A since I was a kid I have a 10 years UK visa I’ve also been to U.K, France,Germany, Brazil, Cancun, Asia, Barbados, multiple times • a number of my friends are in Canada so I attached a letter of invitation sent by one of them. Im a final year medical student abroad too. But I haven’t graduated, so I stated that I was a student. I was refused based on : purpose of visit & employment. * I noticed that i mistakenly selected tourism instead of ‘visit’ on my application. But I filled visit on the eligibility online portal. I honestly don’t know what to do as I was not expecting a refusal. (P.s I’m a director in two of my family companies but I never indicated that as I always use my student status to apply for visas. I’m actively a student). HELP!!! |
