Hmmmm; that's deep. Oluwa is involved hayqinsbFX: No one is saying they won't still get it now. Just saying because of periods and if they have to streamline, masters wud get a preference. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by kfrosh: 4:27pm On Jul 20, 2015 |
But in the past; diploma or PGD in colleges have always gotten their TRV hayqinsbFX: Then you're diverting from the main point they need to be sure of which is "coming back" This is not PR application so I don't think that's their reason for giving masters a priority.
I belive it's more of the assurance it gives them that more masters applicants are genuine study visa applicants. More people apply to colleges for the sake of just migrating. That's the way I read it...Not something about economy atall |

Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by kfrosh: 10:37pm On Jul 17, 2015 |
Let's not forget that the schools and Canadian government needs our application fee too. So we should consider that, more reason why they still encourage more applicants year in year out. justwise: If there is a quota it will come from the schools limiting the number of foreign students to be admitted in a year and they will not issue admission when the number is reached. It makes no sense that the school will give admission to a prospective student knowing fully well that the student chances of getting a visa is almost nonexistent. Not only that...the student will waste time and money applying for TRV that he or she is unlikely to get. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by kfrosh: 10:34pm On Jul 17, 2015 |
It is logical to believe that they would have a projected number of international students coming from each country for every session. Am sure they won't want to exceed that with an excessive margin so the best approach to that is just to reduce the number of successful applicants considerably . You don't expect them to come out and tell us they use a quota system. #MyThoughts |

Are you for real. Hmmmm; here is another twist sha. This quota ish debate has been going on for a very very long time. If applying to Colleges, you need not apply to many but just 1 cos you can get admission within a week of applying and admission is like 90% sure except for the likes of dem NAIT/SAIT. Applying to Universities is quite competitive so throwing in a good application coupled with good grades 2.1 and above can get you admission but nothing is guaranteed, so applying to 1 or more might be advised in this case. The ball is in your court. Good luck . burrytee: hello house. i applied to several colleges through ontario college.now i want to apply to university also.most school are demanding $100. To increase my chances on admission am applying to a number of a schools.please am i to pay $100 each for all the schools or is there anyway i could beat down the application fee for all the university.yr advice will be appreciated. |
