@Xfire plss respond to my question.Tanx |
@xfire and Co. I still want to continue with engineering field and I can perform better under any academic rigour now. I am strongly advised to apply for OND program in PTI that going to the school and obtaining good grades gives better job opportunities. Having in mind that going for PGD and masters won't change anything after a 3rd class degree. please your advise ?? xfire: |
Off I go...........iyalayaa anybody wey wan block my way this time ![]() |
What Engineering graduates fail to realise is that its not everybody that will be able to work in the oil & gas industry. The number of Engine graduate our schools churn out on a yearly basis is far far more than the available oil and gas jobs or any other job for that matter. It is only in Nigeria you will see an Engineering graduate sitting home screaming no job for 3yrs when he can look into other sectors of the economy and make a substantial living from it. There are some blue collar jobs that pay better than the so called white collar jobs only if we can think innovatively and be a change our society needs. Getting a good job in Nigeria now is more than been the smartest or the most intelligent; its more of God's grace. |
So on point; guilty of some of these traits doh. Changing my ways ASAP. |
I wonder how best to move.forward with my career after a disappointing third class degree (2.37) in Mechanical Engineering. I would appreciate any useful advise or tips from my fellow nairalanders. |
I am a graduate of Mechanical Engineering and am interested in learning everything about automobiles and the latest technology used in automobile diagnosis. I want to get trained in a credible automobile service centre and I don't mind paying for the training as long as am.able to acquire the knowledge needed. Please nairalanders help with good suggestions with places/ centres/ workshops that I can go mbog!!! ![]() |
Mechanical Engineering is very broad and offers lot more opportunities in the future compared to other aspects of Engineering. |
