I dont just know why i'm not startled be this, Perhaps because it has become normal in my country. As of now Nigeria can best be defined or described as a "Jungle" where anything goes. The lion (gov.) can decide to lay prey on any citizen of the Jungle, but no one dare tough any of his evil messengers. In the voice of Mandela "why are we not angryer than this!"?

Well an impossibility came to pass to the unbeliefing chelsea fans on sunday. firstly when the captainship hand band was handed over to John Obi Mikel by the proxied Micheal Essien even to the utmost surprise of the coach who supposed it should have gone to Ashly Cole, to the very moment our dear own JOM put a sublime header reminisce of the C Ronaldo, the Ibrahimovich and the Cavani's of this planet past the Derby defence. A proud chelsea supporter actually went through with his promise that he tweeted beford the match, ‘If Mikel scores today I’ll get his name or the Chelsea badge tattooed on my arse’ guess he has no option than to make true his words by uploading this pics. It very ridiculous I must say. http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/a-chelsea-fan-gets-john-obi-mikels-name-tattooed-on-his-bum-after-nigerian-scores-against-derby-pictures/

ideyvexnow: Firstly, this is not even a joke. It is simply an expose of what is really happening in our universities and larger society on a daily bases.

The truth is this, some girls are gold diggers and some boys/men are sex hungry.

Basket Mouth only said the obvious. I challenge you to show us where and how Basket Mouth molested any girl or encouraged any person to molest any girl.

It is you who need redemption for your complete blindness, bad belle and hate towards a young man who makes his by entertaining us.

I am only pissed off that Basket Mouth apologized for what he had no business apologizing for.

Let me ask you a question?, if you know that a politician is a stealing the money left in his care and you come to Nairaland to say that so so politician is a thief, do you later apologize for saying this truth? I don't think so.

If you want punish someone for molestation, go to some hotels, campus hostels or BQs tomorrow and I bet you will catch someone the act.

Stop attacking the messenger.
Firstly i'm only responsible for what i say and in no where above did i say he is a molester but is tweet certainly approves molestation, it is not in my nature to hate, when i see something wrong i say it unrepentantly. If she didnt force you to spend dont force to $ex. The subject here is an Icon in is field that draws thousands if not millions of fans local and international. And as entertaining as he may be, is words are also instructional to his followers. Good enough he apologized which shows he acknowledges is mistakes which no one is without.

PoliticsNigeria’s Population To Surpass The U.S. Before 2050 – UN by kgbd(op): 3:04am On Jun 14, 2013
India’s population would soon surpass China’s.

Nigeria’s population is expected to surpass that of the U.S. before the middle of the century, according to a new United Nations, UN, World Population Prospects report.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the report was made public during a news conference at the UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday.

The report said that by the end of the century, Nigeria could start to rival China as the second most populous country in the world.

The U.S. currently has a population of over 300 million and increasing. This implies that the UN estimates Nigeria’s population to be higher than 300 million by 2050.

The report said that by 2100 there could be several other countries with populations over 200 million, namely Indonesia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Uganda and Niger.

The report titled “World Population Prospects: The 2012 Revision’’ recorded the total population of Nigeria to be 173,615 with the figure of male 88,362 while the female was recorded as 85,254.

It, however, stated that sex ratio of male per 100 female was 104 per cent.

India to overtake China

The report also indicated that the population of India could surpass that of China in the next 20 years.

“The population of India is expected to surpass that of China around 2028, when both countries will have populations of around 1.45 billion. Thereafter, India’s population will continue to grow for several decades to around 1.6 billion and then decline slowly to 1.5 billion in 2100.

“The population of China, on the other hand, is expected to start decreasing after 2030, possibly reaching 1.1 billion in 2100.

The report disclosed that current world population of 7.2 billion was projected to increase by almost one billion people within the next twelve years, reaching 8.1 billion in 2025 and 9.6 billion in 2050.

It added that most of the population growth would occur in developing regions, with their population projected to increase from 5.9 billion in 2013 to 8.2 billion in 2050.

“During the same period, the population of developed regions will remain largely unchanged at around 1.3 billion people.

“Growth is expected to be most rapid in the 49 least developed countries, which are projected to double in size from some 900 million inhabitants in 2013 to 1.8 billion in 2050,’’ the report stated.

It noted that at country level, much of the overall increase between now and 2050 was projected to take place in high-fertility countries, mainly in Africa, as well as countries with large populations such as India, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines and the U.S.

“Although population growth has slowed for the world as a whole, this report reminds us that some developing countries, especially in Africa, are still growing rapidly,’’ the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Wu Hongbo said.

He added that compared to the UN’s previous assessment of world population trends, the new projected total

population was higher, particularly after 2075.

“Part of the reason is that current fertility levels have been adjusted upward in a number of countries as new

information becomes available.

“In 15 high-fertility countries of sub-Saharan Africa, the estimated average number of children per woman has been adjusted upwards by more than five per cent,’’ Mr. Hongbo said.

Politics104 Boko Haram Suspects Set For Release by kgbd(op): 2:42am On Jun 14, 2013
LAGOS — About 104 suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, currently being held at the Kirikiri Minimum and Maximum prisons, Lagos, might soon be released.

Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges in the North, Tanimu Turaki, disclosed this to newsmen, yesterday, when he led the committee on a visit to members of the sect in the prisons in Lagos State.

The visit, according to Turaki, who is also Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, is to interact with those who are being detained in connection with acts related to terrorism.

He said: “We have interacted with them and they have responded to us very sincerely and frankly.

“I think I can say that we have been well informed about most of the issues that we are interested in, as a result of the interactions we have had with them.”

The Chairman explained that the committee will make appropriate recommendations to the government as far as the issue of their release or non-release is concerned.

Turaki said: “The issue of release usually is contingent upon certain conditions. We are more concerned, for now, with the release of vulnerable people. And in this group of vulnerable people we have those who the security agencies have not been able to pin anything on.

“We have seen those who the Director of Public Prosecution has advised that they be released. We have also seen some of them who security agencies themselves have conceded that they have not been able to make out any case against.”

The chairman further noted that with the committee’s interaction with more stakeholders, it had become more informed.

He said: “We have been given suggestions all of which will assist us in ultimately making our recommendations to government and I can assure you that the committee is on top of the situation as far as the issue of dialogue is concerned.”

He also noted that there will be impact assessment at the end of the day, “because we have been asked to study the situation carefully and to make appropriate recommendations for victim support.”

“I assure you that Nigerians will be very proud of this committee at the end of the day.”

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do You Go To Church? by kgbd(m): 5:39pm On Jun 09, 2013
6. Because we need help to face the issuesof life and faith as presented through the teachings of the Bible.
7. Because we need to hear how believers in the past struggled, grew and lived out their faith from different perspectives.
8. Because we need to hear about the experiences of other contemporary believers.
9. Because we need to hear reminders of God's love.
10. Because we need an alternative to the constant messages of a culture that ignores God.
11. Because we need to experience artistic and creative expressions of the faith, such as music, praying, fasting and tithing.
12. Because believers need help to reflect on the past week and seeit as a small part of thejourney of life.
13. Because we need aconscious break from work, family problems, and self interests in order to concentrate on the Lord.
In brief summary, the strategies and schemes of thedevil are well thought out andproven to work better than the marketing strategies ofrich corporations like microsoft.
Therefore, we need other people we can count on to help us make it threw tough times when they arise.
Our chances of finding people we can count onin church arefar betterthan finding someone we can count on anywhere else in the world.
Plus, going up against these strategies with out proper guidance will lead to unnecessary mistakes being made on our part.
In conclusion, going to church while also doingour own personal biblestudy at home on a regular basis helps us toget confirmation of God's message and what He wants us to dowith our lives.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do You Go To Church? by kgbd(m): 5:33pm On Jun 09, 2013
parki: Because you prayed in Chruch does not mean God forgave you of your sins.

moreover, going to church does not give you a free gate pass to heaven when you die.

re-evaluate why you go to church on Sundays. I have found out that a lot of people go to church on sundays because that's what they are used to from when they where kids. They don't go to church because they want to listen to God's word instead they go to church because it is routine thing for them and they just want to fulfil all righteousness.
why counter every point when you are not giving any
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do You Go To Church? by kgbd(m): 5:13pm On Jun 09, 2013
I once opened a thread with the same topic, so i will give few reasons why you should go to church. 1. Because it is an act of obedience to God and it honors the Lord's Day. Remember the Sabbath day, tokeep it holy (Ex. 20: .
2. Because we need to belong to a community of faith that includes our brothers and sisters in Christ who are trying to live out the gospel just like we are.
3. Because we will benefit frombeing taught and led in worship by others, rather than always depending on ourselves to read and study the bible.
4. Because we need regular reminders of our standing in Christ, help in acknowledging and confessing our sins, and teaching about God's truth.
5. Because we need help in praying, tithing and fasting. Well i could go on but more info, go to https://www.nairaland.com/1235115/why-go-church

Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Is Not A Christian by kgbd(m): 8:49am On Jun 09, 2013
Why come and past a stupid writeup by some antichrist columnist here. Takeing a refrence story jesus used in the bible to analyse him? If that was the essence of the story he would have said it himself. The story was answering the question "who is your neighbour" not who is jesus. And yes he is not christian but christ himself the son of jesus Act 11: 19-26 his follower were likened unto him that was where the word christian came from. One knowledge that is beyond people like this is that christianity is not a religion but a life we live.
