maiahsaiah: Its stress to maintain and that time ure spending on it u could use for other productive things. Well to an extent I agree with you but that's why you can always plan. Like NSG said your hair has moods, you don't just wake up and spend hours on your hair. And if you think you're busy then don't let your hair out. For example 80% of my time in school i do protective styling. It's all about time management. Your hair is also part of your body, so treat it good. I see girls with just like 10 strands of "relaxed" hair tucked away under expensive weaves. |

HermajestyQ: I have been on natural hair for almost 2 yrs now. Its pretty long and people always marvel when they see it though am thinking of having it hot-combed this year cos it tangles a lot and often breaks when I try to detangle it. Try detangling with a conditioner and oil mixture of you don't already have a product you use. Or if your detangling a night before wash day, detangle with water and oil mixture. |

iyatrustee: I recently decided to go natural. Just so i dont just carry the hair like that, i resorted to doing twist out using Ecostyler.
Everyone seem to be asking me why i decided to go on dreads just because of the small curls from the twist out.
The question about relaxing my hair nko? I am tired of answering that! I've been natural for almost 2 years now and I've accepted like my twist out won't come out all silky because I have 4b/4c hair. If anyone thinks it's dreads they should contunu. |

chara019: A quick question here, does it mean I can't go natural after some months without applying relaxer to it again? You go natural if you transition or do s big chop. Transitioning could take a year, and you'd have to cut your straight ends off after. Big chop is just cutting all the relaxed parts off straight up. That's how I started |

Goodluck struggling with ur virgin hair Primitive ke? Isn't that what we were all born with? Some of us can decide not to keep it straight like the whites. Some of us love our curls, coils and kinks and their craziness and that isn't primitive. Shouldn't be! |

Lmao I can relate to almost everything! There was a time I let my hair fro and my neighbour asked me why I'm using this old school wig. Like I wanted to faint. Me that I thought I was looking fly! Anyways I quickly forgot about it when one hairdresser, yes hairdresser stopped me to compliment my hair. It's really a struggle for us natural girls! |

The only alfas you see around my family now are the educated ones. I dunno if I can even call them alfas; maybe devoted Muslims. seangy4konji: I feel sorry for your parents. And am sure you are a kid because quoting me out of nowhere without respecting me or my opinions means they tried to train you but ou refused.
Shame on you.
Ps. Age does not mean maturity now because on a normal day now it's the owls in the early 20s doing well with their life while the older ones r sexing around.
Which normal sensible married woman parties for 28 days out of 30?? I still sorry for whoever would get married to you? What normal person parties at the age of 30? It's her life! Did you forget that? He met her "a party girl" so why all he fuss after the marriage? It's sad that you had to drag my parents into this, it just goes to show your level of maturity and if this is your definition of maturity then I feel sorry for you again. You're yhere speaking about me not being trained for quoting you coz of your opinion, but that's not why I quoted you. I quoted to because you were spitting trash. Really. And I felt genuinely sorry for your wife/husband... Dunno what your sexuality is. Anyways I know after reading this you still won't get it but it's allowed. I know people like you |

It's kinda fitted around her waist and it also has a little flare to it which is very feminine. If she was accentuating her masculine figure, I think it should have being more straight than shapey. Anyho I love the outfit and about the boob issue, someone with bigger boobs won't have pulled it off well coz the person would either be hourglass or inverted triangle. Seyi is pear shaped (yes there are skinny pear shaped women) and the flare at the bottom of her top sits very well around her hips. She gorgeous and so is her outfit |

Then ,please change your partying ways and have time for your home.
You cannot make your home work, when you are alway absent there.
Side chicks not smiling. I saw a lot of comments like this. Telling her to go and beg her husband and stop "partying". He met her exactly he way she is. So why is he complaining? He married her and got his ex pregnant right under her roof. Why blame her if she doesn't want to go back into a marriage that has no trust. She can't possibly ever trust him again. Do u know if she has healed? Stop judging people on their decisions! You are not the one living in the house with her. She will be the one married to him and living with him so for the love of God! Don't be too quick to judge |

imagine what you just said. Nobody is telling him to beg, just ask politely. You can even ask politely without even adding "please" it's just a matter of the way and tone you use in saying it. So don't bring up an issue where there's none. |

agarawu23: if after all your seasoning and your food is still tasteless without salt, what's the 'job' of the seasonings then? If salt can give u the perfect taste after adding 10 different seasonings, why cant u come into conclusion that salt is the only key to make your food taste great?
I even hear say all this seasoning dey cause cancer and different types of diseases. Why do villagers live longer than we in the cities? No be because of our chop chop? Maggi cubes are 80% salt like someone said. I'd rather use maggi than salt. Most times I don't even use salt at all, just maggi. And I like it that way coz to me, it's tastier. I also heard about the cancer thing... But pls what doesn't cause cancer? Even our mobile phones cause cancer so it's either you embrace technology and "good food" (which is relative that's why I put it in quote) or go to the village and live longer |

Sometimes we Muslims don't respect ourselves. Feel free to read what u want on Nairaland, comment if you must but immediately you saw this you felt the need to compare your religion with that of others. The op started this thread to point out the problems with Christianity. They want to improve on their religion, which one is your own to be bringing in side comments like *end time religion* which one is your own?! This topic has completely been shifted into an argument of which religion is better instead of an educative essay on how Christians need to improve on themselves. |

I'm very proud to be a Muslim and nothing would make Christianity a choice but stop condemning them. MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS NEED TO STOP CONDEMNING EACHOTHER'S RELIGION. |
Islam › Re: Does The Quran Permit Suicide? by khadijah12(f): 6:16pm On Mar 04, 2016 |
tbaba1234: There are a number of things to clear here:
1. People who kill themselves have committed a huge sin that could earn them the fire... suicide is forbidden. People try to go round the rules looking for justification to push their agenda, but it is clear from the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him)
Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily God hath been to you Most Merciful! If any do that in rancor and injustice, soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for God. Chapter 4 Verse 29 - 30
Narrated Jundab the Prophet said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him." (Bukhari Volume 2, Book 23, Number 445)
Narrated Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak:"And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection. (Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 73)
2. The issue of '72 virgins' is not taken seriously by muslims. It come from a narration that is considered weak or fabricated with no chain of narration. Inspite of this, It has become popular amongst non-muslims who use it as a weapon to attack Islam.
3. Jihad means to struggle against an opposing force. It does not necessarily have to be physical. To work really hard to pass an exam is a jihad, To fight against injustice with or without arms is a Jihad. It is a very broad term and should not be restricted to armed conflict. I saw that somewhere about jihad. I also read that the physical fighting is called the minor jihad and prophet Mohammed (SAW) told his follows that they only fight if they are attacked first and if the other party surrenders they should too and go back to the major jihad which is like the struggle within yourself to keep to your faith and all that. It's very clear that no one attached bokoharam so even if they want to attribute this to Islam, it doesn't hold water |
