hmmmm.... Interesting! Well lots of things need to be considered. For the world Footballer of the year being btw CR7 and Messi10, I think the closest of players close to those two are Neymar, Suarez, Ibrahimovic, james, Lewandoski and Muller (always underated), CR7 and Messi10 are miles ahead.


Why not goalkeepers and defenders..? Well Neuer came close last time and Canavaro in 2006. Depends on what criteria they are using. I would have prefered Xavi won it in 2010. He was instrumental and master class in midfield and kept that for a very long time.

Another week of action and another week of draw. With injuries rocking Man united I would like to see how Van Gaal set his team up against Bournemouth. Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will be banned for three games after accepting a Football Association of violent conduct.


He was charged after catching West Ham's Winston Reid with his left arm as they waited for a Free-kick in Saturday's draw at Old Trafford which ended 0-0.



Schweinsteiger, 31, will miss games against Bournemouth, Norwich City, and Stoke City, and will return in time to play Chelsea.



The referee Mark Clattenburg spoke to both players after the incident, but did not mention it is his post- match report.


A panel of former elite referee reviewed the incident on video and Independently rule that it was a sent off.



Reid has this to say following the incident, ''He knows what he's done- he's elbowed me in the face.''

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said it was ''a clear red-card, a straight red card without any doubts''.

He added:''it was a moment of madness. He deserved to be sent off, but the referee told me he didn't see it. Fair enough, I believe it. It was an elbow''.

they released him so that he can join another club. They thought clubs like Aston Villa, West Brom and Watford could snap him up before the window closes in September. Unfortunately for them none of the deals went through so they have to be paying him since his contract with them ends next June.
