Make una come to my aid ooo. I checked my sister's account this morning and was happy that at last, she has been given admission. However, the deadline for payment did not correspond with the time she was granted admission (Deadline for payment: 15 Dec, Clearance: 16-29 Dec). She was granted admission yesterday because i checked the site the day before yesterday and there was nothing there. WHAT DO I DO?

What he's trying to ask is this: how can one stay LEGALLY in these countries you've mentioned for more than the usual 3 months stated in one's visa without having to come back to Nigeria and applying for the same visa again?

Is there no way one can get a resident permit in these two countries (SA and Kenya) legally. I'm planning to start a new life away from home after my nysc. Your advice is welcomed.

Certifications are great but i'll advise that one gets at least, a regular first degree. This is generally because certifications are limited in a way.

A regular first degree (preferably core science related) provides the base- from which different ICT fields can be explored.

For instance, one with MCITP and MCSA without a regular, related degree (BSc Maths/Computer Sci./Physics) may get a good job (yes, in Nigeria, it's a 'may'), but will have very little prospects of advancing in his coy.

Technology is ever changing so, what if the firm suddenly needs a CCDE or someone with some knowledge of instrumentation? How will he/she fit in?

With a regular first degree, you already have broad and fundamental knowledge which can be built upon to cope with changing climes in the ICT environment.

It's funny how people compare phones. Next time, try to compare phones in the same price range and i tell you, gionee will beat the rest hands down. Another point to note is that, don't compare based on the specifications online but rather base on usage. This is because most of brands specifically tecno are not sincere with their specifications. Imagine an 8GB rom phone complaining of no internal storage when you haven't even installed much on it, you know how frustrating it can be.
