A graduate at 18 in US is not a big deal, there are several people that graduated below the age par, the gifted students at least and the last time I checked they have over 100, 000 thousand of them in us.

Personally I know a girl of 19 years that was called to the Nigeria bar as a lawyer at the age of 19, that is after spending 5 years plus at oau due to strike and a year at law skul, she went to Harvard for her llm and was the third best graduating llm student.

For what ever it us worth there is no basis rushing your kid let them enjoy their childhood. I have a precocious child at age four that can read any thing but he is not rushing any thing he will enjoy his childhood like I enjoyed mine.

Then you are holding him back intellectually, his mind should be stimulated. Imagine that your child has the intellect of a 12 year old and you have him stuck mentally in a classroom full of 5 year olds learning what 5 year olds are being taught. He can still have a good education as well as a good childhood.

Let me correct you on this, in the United States when a child graduates from College not Highschool at 18 it's a very big deal. To do so would mean that the child entered the University at the tender age of 13/14 and that's rare.

It's definitely not a lie in the United States. Didn't you read that she took the SATs at 13, well that meant that she was too Intelligent to go to High School, that would be a waste of time so they skipped her to college because of her high SATs scores.

For normal students the SAT tests are tests that they have to take in order to graduate after 4 years of highschool but baby girl was so smart that she took the tests at age 13 and passed with flying colors so what would be the point in her going to HS.
Now she has graduated from Howard and has received a scholarship from UCDavis to work towards her PHD. Bless her hard working heart.
