Romance › Re: Depression Is Ruining My Life by khiaa(f): 10:57am On Jun 30, 2017 |
touch1234: I have given it a thought. I know it's probably bipolar but the problem I have is that I don't want to be diagnosed of something like that here in this environment. Everybody will say am crazy, I have heard medical practitioners in Nigeria talk about these things. The stigmatization is enough to ruin a person.
I have been struggling with this all my life. I wanted to open up to my mum when I was around 6 or 7. I told her I was sad, she looked at me with disgust and told me never to say such. That's how I kept quiet and I have always kept to myself. Most of the advice the posters are giving you isn't going to help you because their solutions are for people who suffer with regular/normal depression. From reading and understanding your post and symptoms I'm pretty sure that you are suffering with clinical depression ( I have a family member who suffers with bipolar) and it's hell for the person and the love ones if the person goes untreated. Suicide is a symtom of clinical depression Please listen to me, it is EXTREMELY important that you see a doctor IMMEDIATELY. You need to be diagnosed so that you can be treated, don't concern yourself with the things other people say or think because their ignorance is not your problem. Make getting yourself healthy and well your number 1 priority. Please heed by advice, and take care. Also this could be hereditary. |

DeGuyNxtDoor: lol my dear, you talk like you don't know what Africans are capable of. Of course she must have taken her to some native doctor/evil shrine so as to deal with her like she earlier promised.
When someone threatens you and you continue to do that which they detest, they would be pushed to go that extra mile just to see you hurt or even swept off from the surface of this earth, its that serious my dear. Native Doctor?? Don't tell me you guys still believe in that kind of wicked supernatural stuff. |

DeGuyNxtDoor: she warned her to stay off, threatened to deal with her...but I guess she continued which in turn brought out her evil side. But what could the wife do to cause the girl to be on the curse for 5 weeks? |
Romance › Re: Twitter User Claims A Girl Has Been Menstruating For 5 Weeks. See Why by khiaa(f): 9:34am On Jun 30, 2017 |
DeGuyNxtDoor: I can't say the wife did well IF truly she has a hand in this girl's present situation even though I strongly believe she does. If this lady had listened, taken her threats seriously and pleaded with the woman before now, she won't be going through this shameful pains she's going through.
I only understand from what I've come across in the past, that ladies go for married men because they are much better/experienced in bed and are more opened to spending on their mistresses than the single hustling guys but they forgot something.....what has an advantage, also comes with its own disadvantages.
I hope she learns her lessons after getting free from this. How could the wife possibly be responsible for this? |

boostdom: Isn't that irrationality the element for their stupidity? If their behaviour is based on race, what is the basis on which the blackman extends the same or worse form of abuse on his fellow blackman? There was a study that showed intolerance is relatively more pronounced among people at the lower rung of the society, far removed from the academic or intellectual environment.
Khiaa, an impotent man will always find an excuse for his inadequacies. The history of racism shows it was just a means to an end: It was the capital for capitalism. Racism was introduced as an ideology to justify racial subjugation. True but you write as if racism is an issue of the past. What really gets me about people on Nairaland is the fact that they are so hateful towards each other but tell the truth about the evils of white people, then they put on their suit of armor and suddenly become Captain Save A Racist. |

boostdom: Look Khiaa, I criticize the reasoning in your argument not the race.
Look, back in the day, I used to strut through the culture section (that is where the juice was) with my different monikers, going back and forth with the racial arguments. . .basically, we were rehashing shiiit. I was spending valuable time trying to get my point across, internalising all that emotions in the process.
I had to step back and reexamine myself.
I have lived with people of different race and creed and have realised that there will always be stupid and ignorant people, does that mean I have to correlate these ones as the metric for others? No, that will be irrational.
There will always be stupid people irrespective of race, as exemplified by the tribalism on this site. That is the psychic fuel that should engender your dialectics. I don't see how you can rationalise in your mind that their behavior isn't based on race or the color of their skin when they are the ones who created racism and devided the United States on race and skin color. The more things change the more they stay the same. Don't give me this crap that you lived with them like that proves some point. I been around them all my life and I have them in my family so I know the backstabbing, untrustworthy, lying racist they can be. Always thinking they're better than everyone else. |

gypsey: Eerr... I think you will find that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. perhaps you should have been confident enough to show us how gorgeous you are and if you are more gorgeous than she is i will give you a Gold medal myself personally. How I look has nothing to do with your opinion of her. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you see her as gorgeous and I see her as facially challenged. I just wanted to know if you were being funny. No biggie. |
