Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State Of Biafra (MASSOB) led by Uchenna Madu and other pro-Biafran groups Wednesday declared the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu as the supreme leader of the Biafran nation.

The groups resolved to be loyal and answerable to Kanu whom they have chosen as their ‘overall father’.

A statement read by MASSOB leader Uchenna Madu which was exclusively obtained by ORIENTAL TIMES read: “We the members of pro-Biafran groups comprising MASSOB, Eastern People’s Congress (EPC), Biafra Liberation Organization (BLO), Joint Revolutionary Council of Biafra (JRCB), Salvation People of Biafra (SPB) and Biafran Liberation Crusade (BLC) unanimously agree and resolve that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is our leader.

“We hereby adopt and declare Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the new leader of Biafran nation.


“We believe that under his leadership through the Grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama (God) , the people of Biafra shall return back to the promise land of Biafra.

“We also believe with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, there shall be no more changing of party, he is the present Joshua of Biafra that will lead us to the Promise Land.

“We believe that his leadership shall bring unity, peace, progress and brotherly love among us. Under his leadership, the people of Ibibio, Ijaw, Urhobo, Igbo, and all tribes that make up Biafra shall sing with one voice.

“Today, we also resolved that we shall no longer tolerate or encourage any other opposition against his leadership. We shall fight and journey with him and ultimately we shall sacrifice everything that is possible for the sake of Biafra.


“Today he fights our fight. Any man who hates Nnamdi Kanu hates us and any man who loves him loves us.

“As our leader, we shall follow his directions.

“However, As other pro-Biafran groups, we shall be existing and operating as individual groups based on the understanding we have and at the same time, our loyalty, honour and respect shall go to our supreme leader of the Biafran nation (Nnamdi Kanu).”
