sir, there is something that is not clear to me,you wrote PTE A and used EA as your assessing body. kindly clarify. thanks johnsontade: EA doesn't accept PTE. There is no time limit from thr day of graduation but main issue is that you have to write a 3 episode CDR based on projects you have been involved in.
You can write an episode on your final year project but you need 2 more episodes which would make more sense if they are based on your post graduation work experience even if its just 1 yr experience. |

Sir, My dropbox account is deepolybutoneday@gmail.com.i will need the 2 materials. Thanks and more Blessings. johnsontade: Thanks
I wouldn't say i really prepared that hard for PTE but i think why i was able to score high was simply because of the exam structure.
It involves more activities compared to Ielts that made it more interesting and i took it with the mindset that i was just playing around with an English app on PC which eased off the pressure but took the timing very seriously like i was truly writing an exam.
The 2 materials i used for practice were Pte macmillian testbuilder which i got on expatforum and the Pte test simulation given to me by scrollmeout. I can share this files with you via dropbox cos they are too heavy to be sent via mail. |

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Going through all your posts ,you are a frank and meticulous fellow. Congrats once again. But how did you manage to get all those beautiful scores in the PTE exam? any clue, hint or material that can be of help johnsontade: So speechless right now. God has finally perfected it...you would recall i posted earlier about PTE and my EA assessment sometimes in December.
Well, Just got my 189 visa grant and still cant believe my eyes. Everything just happened too fast than i expected and i just knew it was God all through. Here is my timeline below:

Though harsh, I still want to say thank you for your time and advice. Not until your comment I did not know of EXPATFORUM. THANKS. your johnsontade: PTE should have an Ibadan centre but i think a simple google search on PTE Academic registration would have given you an instant answer to this question.
I don't think there are any recent ample CDR's out there and EA does anti-plagiarism check and would detect no matter how little. Just download the Engineer Australia MSA booklet and follow the instructions there to write your CDR...its not that hard as long as what you're writing is truly your own work.
For 189 point calculation, i suggest you spend at least little time to read through this forum as it has been discussed more than a million times or better-still go to www.border.gov.au and read through the visa point requirements.
N.B: When it comes to making life decisions to migrate or proceeding with a visa application process especially PR, i think its always better if a little personal research is done at least because no one on this forum is an agent and we all got our info via personal research and spending unlimited hours reading through forums like Nairaland & Expatforum. Saying this because i still can't believe you just asked how to register for PTE Exam.

sir, OK, what level are you now. okpas12: As for the documents needed to apply for TRA, the best option is to visit their website and follow the requirement / steps in the application guide. It actually took them 50working days to send my outcome.I really don't know much about EA, but TRA is AUD1000 while EA is about AUD800. I opted for 341111 because that is where i felt i would get a positive outcome and i eventually got it. |

Sir, Thanks for your time and concern, I also want and love to do it all together once but the problem is MONEY. Thank God ,I can put their names in the application without any payment. If I make it to OZ ,I will surely bring them all one day NNBB2012: No, you don't need to pay as at the time of your application. I will still advise you to lodge it together even if it means borrowing the money. Lodging their application separately will eventually cost you more and it is a long journey. Your wife will not be given PR directly but rather spouse visa, which is temporary for two years before PR. I beg look for the money. |

SIR, Does that mean it is possible for a married man and father to process the PR visa without his family and land in OZ NNBB2012: I strongly plead with you to look for the money and include them in your application at once. You will even benefit more by bringing them with you. Your children would be entitled to Tax benefits right from day one that they enter Australia, although this is subject to income. We are talking about roughly 1500AUD per fortnights. You could actually recoup the money within 1 month of their arrival. Applying separately for them could take longer time than necessary. So, be guided accordingly. |

Sir, How was the experience with TRA, what are the documents needed and how long does it take for the result to be out, then the fees as compare with that of EA. then why going for 341111 when you can go for some other electrical engineering occupations on the list. Sorry for all the questions , I equally have HND with 15 years experience in NEPA and at the point of choosing one of the occupations on the SOL list but considering the fees by the assessing organization-EA,TRA and VETASSESS.thanks okpas12: Just got a positive response from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). My seven years experience was assessed as being equivalent to at least three years in Australia and also only my National Dilpoma (ND) was assessed as being equivalent to AQF cert III instead of my Higher National Diploma (HND). |
