However, no doctrine, philosophy, school of thought or believe fully encapsulates it. So it's neccessary to be well rounded with your sources of knowledge. I wish you all the best |

fayahsoul: While the contributions of raptorx, kilisi and the op(who pointed out the roles of nibiru, CO2 and methane in global warming) are factors that cause global warming, they are nonetheless secondary. It is important that we understand that earth/terra isnt just a large watery piece of rock spinning aimlessly in space. No! Earth is an organism conscious of herself and every activity within and around it. She has commenced her journey of ascension to higher dimensions and nothing will be allowed to obstruct the process. Nibiru, green house gases etc are being used as tools by earth to accelerate the process. As a result, the coming years ahead will witness extreme changes in the global socio-political and economic system. There will be mass death, destruction and sufferring. This is inevitable so be ready. Purely unscientific!!! |

SimonPeters2020: Yeah, your are right. I should have mentioned that as well. What do you think about injecting Ozone into the Stratosphere, do you think that's possible? With scientists, you can never say never. I believe its very possible and they've been on it for some time now. |
Science/Technology › Re: Facts: Lets Talk About Global Warming/climate Change. by kilisi(m): 8:27pm On Feb 24, 2016 |
SimonPeters2020: It is not human population that's causing global warming, it is the depletion of Ozone layers by CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). The good news is that some American earth scientists are working on a technique that will enable them to inject Ozone into the space from the earth. As a geologist, i don't know how possible this will be considering the fact that under normal conditions (Temperature and Pressure) the Ozone compound is highly volatile and unstable.....#SafeTheEarth Depletion of the Ozone layer by CFC is just a small fraction of what causes global warming. The main cause is the increase in Carbon IV oxide in the atmosphere which is trapping heat in the earth's atmosphere. Again, a major cause in the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere is high rate of deforestation especially in developing countries coupled with an increase in activities that emit CO2. Ever heard of green house and screen house in agriculture? |

Health › 'extraordinary' Cancer Breakthrough Revealed by kilisi(op): 12:20am On Feb 18, 2016 |
Tests of a potentially revolutionary cancer therapy have had "extraordinary" results on terminally ill patients, scientists have revealed. In one study, more than nine out of ten participants with a severe form of leukaemia saw their symptoms completely vanish. Four out of five patients with some other blood cancers responded positively to the treatment and more than half ended up symptom free. Lead scientist Professor Stanley Riddell, from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, US, said the results were among patients who were projected to have two to five months to live. He said: "This is extraordinary. This is unprecedented in medicine to be honest, to get response rates in this range in these very advanced patients." The technique involves removing immune cells called T-cells from patients, tagging them with "receptor" molecules that target cancer, and putting them back into the body in an infusion. The targeting molecules, known as chimeric antigen receptors or Cars, came from specially bred genetically engineered mice. Once attached to the T-cells, they reduce the ability of the cancer to shield itself from the body's natural immune system. Speaking at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting in Washington DC, Prof Riddell described the results as a "potential paradigm shift" in cancer treatment. Much more work was required, he said, adding that it was not clear how long the symptom-free patients would remain in remission. Prof Riddell hopes to try the therapy on patients suffering from cancers with solid tumours, but said they would present challenges.

It appears I'm outdated when it comes to quantum physics. I'm an agric graduate though. Thanks for the info. I'll do further research. |

Education › Re: Education: Why South-west And North Should Be Worried by kilisi(m): 10:27am On Feb 09, 2016 |
Well, let me quickly add mine. Let me start by saying the standard of secondary and primary education in the Southwest is very low. I had my primary, secondary and university education in southwest and I can say I'm not impressed. I served in the north so I can say the standard up north is even worse. I've not been to the east or South south so I can't say anything about their standard of education. However, the education sector especially at the primary and secondary level needs lot of infrastructural and manpower improvement.

This book written by Cyprian Ekwensi? I've forgotten the title sha. I guess you mean The Potter's Wheel by Cyprian Ekwensi. The Concubine was probably the best African novel I've read. And how can i forget The Second Dream (can't remember the author now), The Creator of Horror by Steve Umeadi ( remembering it alone brings tears to my eyes), Isara by Wole Soyinka, The Beautiful Ones Are Not Yet Born, The African Child and many more. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of most of these novels again even though I bought them with the little I saved as a student...............Reminisce of the good old days 2 Likes 1 Share |
