I don’t know and I don’t care. He’s best among all the presidential candidates and he won the election but he was rigged out because he’s an igbo man and igbos don’t have any leverage in Nigeria at the moment. Can you explain what makes Obi best among the candidates? Young? He is over 60 years and with grey hair. A new breed and different from the rest? He was a two term governor and a vice presidential candidate of PDP as recent as 2019. Not corrupt? Pandora papers and other allegations say hi. Economic and administrative guru? Nothing suggests such in present day Anambra that he governed for 8 years. Buhari said Nigerian youths are lazy. But I can now see that statement is half true. They are not only lazy but stupid and easily deceived, capable of the herd's mentality without critical reasoning ability. 8 Likes |

Politics / Re: Osun Tribunal: I Didn’t Forge Certificate, School Made Mistake – Adeleke by kilisi(m): 3:52pm On Feb 01 |
fergie001: All these questions are long settled.
Two Court of Appeal judgements foreclosed this issue and exonerated him from Certificate Forgery.
The Principal admitted that the Registry in the school made those administrative errors but can confirm that Adeleke indeed attended the school from 1976-1981. (He testified in Court in 2018)
WAEC also confirmed that Adeleke indeed sat for WASSCE but only for one subject: English Language which was Fatai mesan. (WAEC also testified in Court)
The Osun High Court exonerated him of forgery, and this was upheld by the Appeal Court in Akure.
2 APC Chieftains went on with the suit at the FCT High Court and the Court said he wasn't qualified. He appealed and the Court of Appeal, Abuja cleared him and absolved him of forgery.
Two of the Judges on the panel at the Appeal Court in Abuja are now in the Supreme Court.
Read what the Court of Appeal in Abuja said: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/05/certificate-scandal-adeleke-qualified-to-contest-osun-gov-election-says-acourt/amp/
I think what APC contested this time is different from the judgement you quoted. They are contesting the alleged discrepancies in the certificate he submitted earlier to INEC and the one he submitted last year. Meaning at least one of the certificates is forged. I hope you will get my point. 1 Like |

Those who passed through faculty of Agriculture, University of Ibadan from around 2008 will remember AGY 212: Introduction to Agricultural Climatology. There is usually an open book test where everyone will be notified in advance to pack all relevant textbooks to the test venue. On the day of the exam, you can't even open those textbooks because of limited time. Most students failed the test during our set. I think I had the second highest mark of 11. I can never forget that day. 2 Likes |

Agriculture / Re: The Plight Of Ginger Farmers In Southern Kaduna by kilisi(m): 9:35am On Dec 20, 2022 |
The problem with farming in Nigeria especially for subsistence farmers is that most of the gain goes to the middle men. I mean those who go into the interior villages to buy buy from farmers and sell to traders. They make double or even triple their investments for every purchase.
I was into Cucumber farming around 2016 and 2017 and you need to see how they buy from farmers at a very ridiculous price.
The problem is that they are aware that farm produce are more often than not perishable goods, so you can't afford to keep them for a lo g period of time. They use that opportunity to buy from farmer who are desperate to avoid loss at a ridiculously low price. 13 Likes 1 Share |
