LETTER FROM A CHIBOK GIRL
Help me i beg help me
go the mile but please help me
call my mum, call my dad
call my king, call my god
i'm a girl alone, alone to myself
as the world left me alone to die
in the still of the night
a cold dry night when i fell to sleep
they came and took me
took my away womanly frame
and while i went quiet into the night
i left my pride behind me
now deep in the lost woods i cry
cos just yesterday they took my name
and forced upon my face another
they rape me as i cry for my mama
what i wouldn't do to sleep
i wish death upon me
for what daily beholds me
call my king, call my president
do me a favour as you tell him about me
about the indigent plight of a chibok girl
condemned to die by your loud silence
abandoned with men who hate me for my creed
who hate me for trying to learn
you all betray me, you all have left me
for in your silence to my pain you have sinned
you turn the other way but on that side is a mirror
look hard at what you are
for who you are in omission is like to who holds me
look again for you are the same
your silence gives strength to these chains
this may be last you hear of me
for death stands dark above me
The dawn may take me away
Far beyond the hills of my beloved Chibok

I might die today in a church
Yea i might die because if I live I do not know
For my offence is being a Christian and some think it's punishable by death
Not by the hangman's noose or by the noble injection
It is by the fiery inferno of a crudely made explosive
My execution is at the hands of a brainwashed zombie
Drunk with hate from a verbally served liquor spewing from the gullet of twisted sheik
He recruits soldiers he says to fight for God, a god he thinks too weak to fight for himself
Spilling the blood of innocents all for the ethereal gift of eighty virgins
My Christian albeit infidel blood is only worth a sex SinParty
I might die I know, and I might fall today
In this lowly church where I come to worship and pray for those waiting to kill me
I might die, i might get blown to pieces but all i have is love and a shared brotherhood with my Muslim neighbour
Yea i might die and i might yet live but death comes to all
If i die today then be it for what i believe than for a crime of hate i commit against my neighbour
I might die, yea i might fall today but all i ask is forgiveness for the sins of me and my suicide killer blind with furious rage for a Christian kin

NIGERIAN preacher Temitope Balogun Joshua’s prophecy about the just ended Chelsea-Bayern Munich match came under scrutiny after a bold Bayern Munich player journalists claimed they heard him allegedly stating was going to score, failed to secure a single goal.
It was claimed the misunderstanding was to do with TB Joshua’s strong accent ‘which is difficult to hear’.
The bald-headed player, widely believed was Roben missed a penalty which could have landed his team the UEFA championship.

i am ashamed of naija music these days. While other countries are improving with the poetic or lyrical content of their music naija music (apart from a few emcees) is going down the drain.
