RomanceRe: DIABETES Causes INFERTILITY. A New Study Have Revealed! The Natural Way Out! by killdiabetes(op): 9:34pm On Nov 23, 2017
Good evening all, trust you all had a stressfree day? Will like to continue from where we stopped yesterday on simple steps to preventing diabetes. The next step is:

4. Limit red meat and avoid processed meat; choose nuts, whole grains, poultry, or fish instead.

The evidence is growing stronger that eating red meat (beef, pork, lamb) and processed red meat (bacon, hot dogs, deli meats) increases the risk of diabetes, even among people who consume only small amounts. Findings have shown that eating just one daily 3-ounce serving of red meat—say, a steak that’s about the size of a deck of cards—increased the risk of type 2 diabetes by 20 percent. Eating even smaller amounts of processed red meat each day—just two slices of bacon, one hot dog, or the like—increased diabetes risk by 51 percent.

The good news is that: Swapping out red meat or processed red meat for a healthier protein source, such as nuts, low-fat dairy, poultry, or fish, or for whole grains lowered diabetes risk by up to 35 percent. Not surprisingly, the greatest reductions in risk came from ditching processed red meat.

Now the question is, why do red meat and processed red meat appear to boost diabetes risk? It may be that the high iron content of red meat diminishes insulin’s effectiveness or damages the cells that produce insulin; the high levels of sodium and nitrites (preservatives) in processed red meats may also be to blame. Red and processed meats are a hallmark of the unhealthful “Western” dietary pattern, which seems to trigger diabetes in people who are already at genetic risk.

Thanks for your time tonight......................will be posting the last step tomorrow. Always stay healthy and dont forget to check your blood glucose level to know your status.

3. Choose good fats instead of bad fats.

The types of fats in your diet can also affect the development of diabetes. Good fats, such as the polyunsaturated fats found in liquid vegetable oils, nuts, and seeds can help ward off type 2 diabetes. Trans fats do just the opposite. These bad fats are found in many margarines, packaged baked goods, fried foods in most fast-food restaurants, and any product that lists “partially hydrogenated vegetable oil” on the label. Eating polyunsaturated fats from fish—also known as “long chain omega 3” or “marine omega 3” fats—does not protect against diabetes, even though there is much evidence that these marine omega 3 fats help prevent heart disease. If you already have diabetes, eating fish can help protect you against a heart attack or dying from heart disease.

8 Ways To Get A Better Night Sleep As A Diabetic!

Good evening. Trust you all had a great day?

A lot of my subscribers have complained about
difficulty in sleeping. This is the answer to those
complaints.

Here are 8 ways to have a better night rest if you
are diabetic.

Diabetes can have a big effect on sleep. High blood glucose levels, sleep apnea, nights time hypos – these are some of the ways that diabetes can leave you feeling unsatisfied with your sleep and tired the next day.

The opposite is also true. Poor sleeping habits can cause type 2 diabetes.

These 8 sleeping tips should help you get a better night’s rest:

1. Have a fixed sleeping time
Aim to get at least six hours sleep per night. If your schedule allows it, eight hours is even better. To do that, pick a bedtime and a waking up time, and stick to it.

If you stick to regular sleeping hours, your body will get used to shutting off at that time, making it easier to get to sleep. It will also make your routine more structured and less hectic, allowing you to sleep more peacefully.

Unfortunately, that means no napping. However
tempting it might be. Napping disrupts your sleep rhythms, which, once you’ve decided on your fixed sleeping hours, should be nice and settled.

On a similar notes

2. Don’t sleep in at the weekends
Try to maintain the same fixed sleeping pattern every day. That means at the weekend too. Breaking your fixed sleeping time at weekends, although tempting, can disrupt the flow of your metabolism.

3. Avoid alcohol before bed

At first, alcohol makes you feel sleepy, but it has a stimulating effect later on. If you have a drink just before bed, you will disrupt your sleep. You might wake up much earlier than you planned to.
Or you might just have poor quality sleep, leaving you feeling tired the next day.

4. Train your brain
Teach your brain that the bed is only for sleeping and some other grownup things. That means not working in bed, or browsing the internet in bed, or anything like that. If you associate bed with all kinds of non sleeping activities, your brain won’t naturally be inclined to drift off.

5. Practice relaxation and meditation techniques and avoid worrying and getting anxious :

Practice mindfulness and other breathing exercises to help you switch off from outside concerns. Most of the anxieties that disturb our sleep are about the future. By meditating, we take our minds off the future and focus on the present moment. This helps us have a better night’s sleep, which in turn helps us face those things as we get to them.

6. Avoid screens before bed

The light from bright screens wakes our brains up. Research also suggests that it disrupts our circadian rhythms, which, among other things, help us to maintain healthy, consistent  sleep.

7. Avoid leaving tasks till the morning
Try to get everyday tasks done the night before. That includes things like choosing your outfit and making your lunch. By getting these tiny stressors out of the way, you’ll sleep more peacefully. Like a baby.

8. Use Diabetes Wellness Pack
This all natural diabetes cure has in it components that detoxify and relax your body. DWP has been proven to lower blood sugar by 40% or more within 2 weeks of usage. Lives are being transformed and people are getting their health back on track.

Good day fellas, trust you all had a great weekend? Continuing from where i stopped from the last post on simple steps to preventing risk of having diabetes

2. Skip the sugary drinks, and choose water, coffee, or tea instead.

Like refined grains, sugary beverages have a high glycemic load, and drinking more of this sugary stuff is associated with increased risk of diabetes. For every additional 12-ounce serving of sugary beverage that people drank each day, their risk of type 2 diabetes rose 25 percent.

How do sugary drinks lead to this increased risk? Weight gain may explain the link:

Several studies show that children and adults who drink soda or other sugar-sweetened beverages are more likely to gain weight than those who don’t, and that switching from these to water or unsweetened beverages can reduce weight. Even so, however, weight gain caused by sugary drinks may not completely explain the increased diabetes risk. There is mounting evidence that sugary drinks contribute to chronic inflammation, high triglycerides, decreased “good” (HDL) cholesterol, and increased insulin resistance, all of which are risk factors for diabetes.

if that is the case, what can you drink in place of the sugary stuff? Water is an excellent choice. Coffee and tea are also good calorie-free substitutes for sugared beverages (as long as you don’t load them up with sugar and cream). And there’s convincing evidence that coffee may help protect against diabetes.

Continuing from where we stoped on how to lower/control your risk for Diabetes

The last post we discussed about controlling your weight. Today i will quickly go throuugh on how to Tune up your diet

Tune Up Your Diet

Four dietary changes can have a big impact on the risk of type 2 diabetes.

1. Choose whole grains and whole grain products over highly processed carbohydrates.

There is convincing evidence that diets rich in whole grains protect against diabetes, whereas diets rich in refined carbohydrates lead to increased risk. Whole grains don’t contain a magical nutrient that fights diabetes and improves health. It’s the entire package—elements intact and working together—that’s important. The bran and fiber in whole grains make it more difficult for digestive enzymes to break down the starches into glucose. This leads to lower, slower increases in blood sugar and insulin, and a lower glycemic index. As a result, they stress the body’s insulin-making machinery less, and so may help prevent type 2 diabetes. Whole grains are also rich in essential vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals that may help reduce the risk of diabetes.

In contrast, white bread, white rice, mashed potatoes, donuts, bagels, and many breakfast cereals have what’s called a high glycemic index and glycemic load. That means they cause sustained spikes in blood sugar and insulin levels, which in turn may lead to increased diabetes risk.

Researchers found that women and men who ate the most white rice—five or more servings a week—had a 17 percent higher risk of diabetes than those who ate white rice less than one time a month. People who ate the most brown rice—two or more servings a week—had an 11 percent lower risk of diabetes than those who rarely ate brown rice.
