My own is that,all those who are speculating first quarter, January don finish o...like play like play, people go start work,we no go even know..too many concrete negatives but no concrete positive news...reason why emotions are running wild..

for me,that is just another way to shift the goal post another 6 months..we have exhausted all excuses..the much publicised mpe/ior came and went and now its another mpe/ior lol..who is going to be waiting for NNPC till June/july..we move..

I am an EH hopeful but however, I see things differently from the way you viewed his post. In all honesty, it is good news for the contract staff and in an objective sense of the word, well deserved. If you have worked in an organization that employs graduates on renewable contractual basis, perhaps you will share the same view as the poster. In truth, some of this contract staff have the requisite industry experience and even qualifications to fill the roles open to Experienced Hires, however companies decide to keep these contract staff for years, perhaps decades with little or no increment in incentives and no prospect for career growth. It is quite common in banks. I really do not know the basis for which the contract guys were employed, it may be centered on Nepotism or not, that is not for me to say. However, our grouse should be projected at the management of NNPC who published over 200 EH roles; allowed us to write aptitude test, travel from far and wide both nationally and internationally and are still keeping us in the dark after what now, 18 months? If this isn't ineptitude at its peak i wonder what is!

In any case, we pray for the best but prepare for the worst by moving forward positively in our various endeavors.

Psychologically down most people here are...even though we're not trying to say his information is false,this group is majorly for EH hopefuls..not contract or casual staffs..so from that point of view..its not nice

Finally all these plenty different news we hearing and is bring about many talk is because nothing concrete is going on..we have exhausted all the excuses we have..now we're just lingering...holding on to nothing but hope....we keep trying to tell ourselves what we want to hear...even though we have nothing to back it up...

I can categorically tell you that not a single soul has been issued APL for EH category. Some people here have access to the very top and just come here to gloss over information flying around. Relax and be hopeful to be among the lucky ones to be issued.

maybe so,I merely spoke based on what I learnt last night and how certain he was both of numbers and those involved ie both recruitment and replacement..I hope he is wrong.. if not..it would be a shame

I know its quiet difficult to swallow..but the info came not just from a source but from one of those that trained them...no be them say...he categorically stated 290 were trained..and the rest that are still waiting will have to move on because no recruitment coming anytime soon.I swear as he was talking..I just weak...belike den pour me cold water...what will I gain by lieing..

My opinion : But i believe they will release it,But not now to see how long this covid-19 will be with us .If they will be no more lockdown ,You don't expect In this pandemic that Even No 1 biggest economy in the world is affected and you expect a Country like 9ja to employ people staying at home doing nothing and will be getting their pay .

if I understand you, you trying to say the PANDEMIC is what is stopping them,then what about other agencies that are not even revenue generating that are employing, because I believe you know they are,my dear,leave covid 19,whatever is going on in there is far more than that, let's just hope whatever it is, its resolved soon so we can all move forward and leave all these tension behind us for good

if I'm not mistaken, the hold on the recruitment has been on for almost a year now, and its obvious that the politician wouldn't let him have his way so instead he would rather shelve it..and work with what he has on ground..

Not cancelled, suspended / put oh hold. No one likes negative news so I have kept it to myself and sulked on it ever since 23rd December when a call was made from a certain someone to another.

I know it's not palatable news guys but GMD placed it on hold for the following reasons;

1. External influence - a lot of lobbying from powers that be happened underground before, during and after the interview. The corporation is trying to avoid a scenario of square pegs in round holes.

2. Perception that a lot of EH (at least up to the number that was expected to be recruited which wasn't mentioned during the conversation) performed below par / didn't perform extremely well during the interviews.

3. Internal alignment process.

The call ended with "when or if anything happens/comes up, I'll let you know". I do however think that the tweets and sustained pressure from EH may just unlock this thing. I choose to keep hope alive but I'm also focused at work - a 50/50 mindset so I can accept/absorb whatever the outcome will be.

please was the suspension from Feb 14 wen the gt list was released or the 23rd wen you got the info..or it has always been Like that even before the lists were released..so we have a clear picture of what is actually going on and how long this wait is still going to be..because we have been hearing suspension, cancellation,ana all the shions...abeg share o

all the arguments changes nothing, if your connect gave you this info this early in the new year then I guess we should take it with a pinch of salt, because so far we barely have any info to state otherwise or hence go by..although we have heard time and time again that its been cancelled, NNPC are not even doing us justice by addressing the issue after all the pressure..let's all just keep an open mind..so we don't get disappointed...in as much as I don't pray for it to be cancelled..let's prepare ourselves for whatever the outcome..

Hope u know divulging the proceeds of such meeting is unethical. For u to be part of such meeting u must be a staff or maybe u logged in with someone's profile.
It might have been better u give the info concerning the EH part without mentioning other things involved in d meeting.

The recruitment is not cancelled.

After NNPC released the GTs APL with an open memo of completion to the public, they later on gave APL to other GTs quietly - that was not publicized.

The day the E.H will see APL, it may not be too exciting as the morale of so many would have over-dropped before then.

You see the heart of the GMD, it belongs to God. The APL will be released, just focus on other things of life.

Enjoy other things of life. For your APL it must drop.

Yes, it is tiring...even worse without any info...but based on my observation I believe the final list has been ready since Sept. abt the time some GTs said that the recruitment has been cancelled and joeboy88, kachii77 and feyijeunso posts implied that the recruitment was almost over...but I'm worried about the nature of the list and I was also worried when weoai, who is aware of the MPE/IOR thingy advised that we move on and also hinted that it was not the end, just before the MPE/IOR interview commenced. Probably what is delaying the release of the list is the MPE/IOR(court case).

Whatever the case is, it would b good to know that the MPE/IOR is done and dusted. I pray that it will b easy for us to recognize when it's over so that we don't have to waste our time.

for me,I feel they have exhausted all their excuses, they have played all their cards.even the MPE/IOR that has been their underlying excuse,by now, the available positions to be filled I believe would have been sorted..so you see that even that excuse doesn't cut it..there's no concrete reason for the delay..and dem boys at the towers aren't saying nothing...

Sign of maturity is to have a healthy dose of skepticism for opinions. Deal in facts and believabilities. Those who have sufficient knowledge and expertise on a topic. As it were, only the NNPC management has the correct info or program of events for any recruitment. All the rest na hearsay.

like I said I choose not to believe..others may do otherwise...I may not know the exact time of notification but for someone to tell me the GMD doesn't know...oga..nawa o...so theres someone in nnpc with higher authority than MKK that has classified information that even the GMD doesn't know about..bros think am na..even if you want give us story...make the story straight small..
