Lemme help you...Hashirama singlehandedly captured all the tailed beasts in his days with only his Senju power, Madara was able to control tailed beasts in his days too and has a wide expanse of knowledge..

Now Madara has all of Hashirama's power, his own power(which is almost on equal level with the Rikudo in terms of physical strenght, chakra level, stamina and life force considering he's united his splitted powers into his own body) and has a rinnegan.

The way he is now, he can solo Obito in his jinchuriki state cos he has the body of the sage of 6 paths..

i doubt hashi did it all at once...even he cudnt take on all the 9 tailed beast alone....

How did Madara awaken rinnegan? It was when he had both Senju and Uchiha powers, so its the powers in the body that improved his eyes from sharingan to rinnegan.


So now since the body is the originator of the eyes, how come you think he won't be able to tap a bit into those powers when he's lost the eyes?


It wasn't like he was using the full powers, he could have used shinra tensei against Gaara/Shukaku jutsus if he had the full powers of the eyes but he didn't. Even the susano'o in question is a miniature one compared to his full susano'o.

he shud be able to use it same reason usain bolt shudnt be breaking records with one leg torn off...he has the energy...abilities...but the tool is missing. dats da point...whether a small one oo....a big one ooo. itz a susanoo. simple

still not good enough...i watched it today and i must agree with da guy...there is no reason why obito cudnt capture naruto when making his point of attack intangible. kakashi explains it as a teleportation jutsu...one where he teleports the part of contact into his dimension. meaning da other parts shud be solid...but somehow itz not...so unless i get a better explanation...i agree with the dude.

Tosyn007: I believe we are giving too much importance here, the eyes are like a reflector of what's going on in the body, when Naruto achieved Sage Mode, his eyes changes, when he enters kyuubi mode, his eyes changes..

I'm not saying they are the same, the ocular eyes are different, they carry power but not all of the powers, the body carry a portion of these powers too. And Madara's body is even an extraordinary one.

You'd even notice Madara's susano'o is even a miniature one compared to his original susano'o.

and yet the only people shown to use it are rinnegan wielders including the sage of the six paths. that renders ur point irrelevant.

3.Remember what tobirama said about uchihas? Their powers come first from their brain and becomes visible in their eyes,meaning his eyes are not the sole source of his powers..again madara can't be judged by normal standard at this point.
4.Did you see how madara fixed his arm immediately with zetsu's arm? Wetin be eye if he could do that? Remember how many times obito lost limbs and got another one back? Then remember it was madara who cultivated white zetsu? Then if obito could do it casually,then the oga at the top can too.

I think most of these has to do with his current power up, he has now attained a level of the sage of six paths remember? His strenght, chakra level, life force, stamina, etc., has surpassed that of Hashirama and any other shinobi as we speak.


Now from Rikudo Sennin's epistle, we can say safely that the body composition has a lot of effect on the eyes and vice versa. Rikudo had the rinnegan and when he splitted his between his 2 sons, one had a sharingan eye and the other had no ocular power, but when the 2 bodies merge, the rinnegan is awakened after a period.

Now that being said, Madara has used both sharingan and rinnegan before he went blind, so just cos he lost them doesn't mean all the powers will evaporate, he still has the body of the six paths and that should be enough to use a part of the ocular jutsus.

first let me say i coughed alot from too much laffing... reading ur post. horribly laid out assumptions. let me deal with them for u.

Mutaino7: Well, the only conclusions I could come to are: The susanoo is just a mass of chakra, so it doesn't require the mangekyou sharingan once it has been awoken already (as demonstrated by madara in this chapter).

Every uchiha dat has susanoo has the mangekyou sharingan. only madara defies all odds. this assumption if confirmed by kishi would be a poor form writing...however u look at it. the epitome of convenience. it was stated to require it now somehow once u've had it...ur body can do it on it own...now dats bad. the eyes make seals even before susanoo is summoned.

Mutaino7: by the way it has never been mentioned that the susanoo requires the constant activation of the mangekyou (and vice versa).

remember when itachi was losing chakra hence lost his focus on maintaining susanoo it began to fade away? to maintain mangekyou u require chakra. he had none left...was sick so he cudnt maintain it. besyds when sasuke fought danzou....he had it activated throughout.

he needed the eye to even see again. temporarily blind? he had no eyes to be reawakened. when he died he had no eyes. so the rinne tensei replenishes what ever you died with.

people theorized the sharingan upgrading into the rinnegan for years. we the normal readers decided to along with the ride as the story unfolded. but when it happened i wasnt surprised. this claim is not gud enough for kishi to be killing us with plot holes this big. please dnt defend him.

kabuto inserts orochimaru's chakra into himself. he gains oro's power by sheer resistance...he said so himself. den he finds anko and he absorbs oro's chakra from her to add to the orochimaru chakra he already posses. he made reference to how powerful oro's chakra was when he absorbed it from anko. u really shud read.

It was why he was still able to use Rinnegan jutsus even though he didn't have the eyes.

I DISAGREE. HASHI CANT ABSORB WITHOUT THE WOOD TECH...SO MADARA SHUDNT BE ABSORBING ATALL. HE HAS NOTHING TO ABSORB WITH.

Bottom line is, there are plausible reasons why Madara may be absorbing chakra without the rinnegan. There is no plausible reason why Madara would have the Rinnegan yet want to take sasuke's eyes.
