Your WhatsApp Account Will Be Deleted If You Don't Agree To New Terms By 8 February LadbibleJan 6, 2021 Read original WhatsApp users have noticed that the messaging app will be changing its privacy policy and if people don't agree they will lose access to their accounts. The app, which is owned by Facebook, has two billion active users, many of which have already had a pop-up message asking them to share their data with Facebook. Mark Zuckerburg who owns both WhatsApp and Facebook, as well as Instagram, is hoping to merge all three brands at some point. The notification states that failure to agree with the changes by 8 February will result in the user's account being deleted. The message gives the user a chance to either click 'agree' or 'not now' - but does not let them decline the changes. In the small print, it states that the cut-off date for agreeing to the terms is 8 February - any later and your account will be deleted. LADbible has contacted WhatsApp for comment. Meanwhile, Apple has revealed the ways in which WhatsApp tracks the data of users and stores some pieces of detail about users around the world . We've all suspected - and known - for ages that our mobile devices are checking up on what we do. However, WhatsApp has made a point of stating over the years that they are the most secure messaging app going. Also, it's worth assuming that all apps are mining your personal data in some shape or form. WhatsApp tells you about what personal data they keep on you in the terms and conditions that you were supposed to read when you signed up, but who has the time to do that, right? Now, the folks behind the iPhone - and crucially iMessage - have shone a light on the information apps are actually grabbing from you. On 14 December last year, Apple introduced new privacy labels that explain what data every app in the App Store is harvesting from you. When you look up an app, a label is shown that tells you exactly what data it will collect. This includes Apple's own products. According to that, WhatsApp takes info such as contacts and location from you. It could also get hold of your email address, financial information, phone number, and user content. That could all be linked to your identity. Before Apple's scheme was rolled out, WhatsApp criticised it for being too vague. The company said it doesn't tell the full story and isn't representative of how far the developers have gone to ensure that personal information is protected. It said: "While providing people with easy to read information is a good start we believe it's important people can compare these privacy nutrition labels from apps they download with apps that come pre-installed, like iMessage."

Manchester United's 11 penalties this season assessed after Jurgen Klopp's claim Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp questioned Manchester United's penalty record after losing to Southampton. United have received 11 penalties this season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's response when asked about Jurgen Klopp's jibe about Manchester United's penalty record was indicative of Manchester United's current position in the Premier League table. "And that's a fact," he responded when asked about Klopp's comment stating that United have won more penalties than Liverpool in Solskjaer's shorter spell than his in the Anfield dugout. Solskjaer couldn't help but crack a smile as he referenced Rafael Benitez's infamous rant from the Spaniard's time battling the great Sir Alex Ferguson during an unsuccessful Premier League title bid. Klopp isn't the only manager to question United's tendency to receive penalties with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard suggesting VAR helped United back in July while Jose Mourinho continues to aim digs at Bruno Fernandes for scoring a chunk of his goals for the club from 12 yards. VIDEO LOADING OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER SPEAKS AHEAD OF THE CARABAO CUP SEMI-FINAL AGAINST MAN CITY Back in July, we took a look at the penalties United won last season to see whether the referee made the right calls. The Reds have won 11 penalties in all competitions this season so we've took a closer look at each incident to settle this debate. 1. Juan Mata vs Luton Town (September 22, 2020) United's first penalty of the season came in the Carabao Cup against lower league side Luton Town. In the first-half, Brandon Williams received the ball and broke into the Luton penalty area. He was downed by George Moncur whose complaints were muted to the referee. With Fernandes rested, Juan Mata dispatched the penalty. Verdict: Clear penalty. 2. Bruno Fernandes vs Brighton (September 26, 2020) The first penalty of the Premier League season was probably one of the most controversial in recent history. With the score level, United pushed for a winner with Harry Maguire aiming a header at goal which was blocked by Neal Maupay in the 97th minute. The referee blew the full-time whistle but a VAR review of the incident rightly awarded a penalty for a handball from the striker. Fernandes scored with the final kick of the game to earn three points. Verdict: Clear penalty as games are allowed to be restarted after a VAR check. 3. Bruno Fernandes vs Tottenham (October 4, 2020) Fernandes' penalty after just two minutes against Tottenham at Old Trafford in October looked to have set the tone for a victory against Mourinho's men, however, it proved to be little more than a consolation in a humiliating 6-1 defeat that saw Solskjaer's future plunged into doubt. There was no doubt about the penalty decision, though, as Davidson Sanchez was penalised for a sloppy challenge on Anthony Martial. Verdict: Clear penalty. 4. Bruno Fernandes vs Newcastle (October 17, 2020) Confusion, controversy and quiet chaos erupts on the streets of Levenshulme Rashford went down under contact from Lewis. United went behind against Newcastle after Matt Ritchie's cross was deflected past David de Gea by Luke Shaw. Maguire equalised from a corner and United had the chance to take the lead after being awarded a penalty. Marcus Rashford darted into the area and went to ground. Referee Craig Pawson did not award a penalty but was advised by VAR to check the incident again on the pitch side monitor and changed his decision. Replays show Jamal Lewis make contact but it could be argued Rashford was already going to ground. It was the first penalty missed by Fernandes in the league this season. Verdict: No penalty. 5. Bruno Fernandes vs Paris Saint-Germain (October 20, 2020) In a crucial Champions League group stage game against PSG, United were awarded a penalty at the Parc des Princes after just 19 minutes. Martial received the ball to feet and spun defender Abdou Diallo before going to ground. The defender was furious a penalty was awarded but it was poor defending. Martial exaggerated the foul and although it was soft, it was still a penalty. Fernandes missed his first attempt but replays showed Navas off his line. He scored his second try. Verdict: Soft but a penalty. 6. Anthony Martial vs RB Leipzig (October 28, 2020) Martial was fouled by Sabitzer. Against RB Leipzig, it was Martial again who was downed in the box. United had a comfortable 3-0 lead at the time and it was a poor challenge from Marcel Sabitzer. It was a clear attempt to win the ball from the Austrian but he timed his tackle wrong, made no contact and clearly downed Martial. The Frenchman was given the penalty by Fernandes and ended his short goal drought. Verdict: Clear penalty. 7. Bruno Fernandes vs West Brom (November 21, 2020) In a tightly contested fixture against West Brom, United scored what would prove to be the only goal of the game thanks to a Fernandes penalty in the second-half. Again, Fernandes missed his initial strike but former Red Sam Johnstone was off his line. Juan Mata's cross was blocked by the hand of Darnell Furlong. The handball rule is as clear as mud this season but it's undeniable his arm was away from his side and shoulder height. Verdict: Clear penalty. 8. Marcus Rashford vs Istanbul Basaksehir (November 24, 2020) Fernandes could have netted a hat-trick against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League but allowed Rashford to take the spot-kick he earned. The forward was bundled over by defender Boli Bolingoli and referee Ovidui Hategan pointed straight the spot. The England international showcased some clever play to position his body across the defender and invite the contact. It was a challenge the defender didn't need to make but did. Verdict: Soft but a penalty. 9. Bruno Fernandes vs RB Leipzig (December 8, 2020) Greenwood went down under challenge from Konate. Fernandes' penalty sparked a late comeback against Leipzig as United unsuccessfully attempted to rescue their Champions League campaign. Mason Greenwood was downed after Ibrahima Konate tussled for the ball. A penalty was awarded much to his dismay. Konate responded to accusations that Greenwood dived with a cryptic message. Greenwood does seem to step across the defender but you've seen them given. Verdict: Dubious, probably not a penalty. 10. Bruno Fernandes vs Leeds (December 20, 2020) The three points were already secured for United but Solskjaer's side looked to add insult to injury against their old rivals. Fernandes slipped in Martial who linked the play with Rashford. Martial received the ball again and showcased some clever play to win a spot kick. The forward chipped the ball over Pascal Struijk who made a clumsy challenge. Verdict: Clear penalty. 11. Bruno Fernandes vs Aston Villa (January 1, 2021) Pogba was fouled by Luiz. United's latest penalty was another decisive decision as Fernandes' goal helped United secure a vital three points against Aston Villa. Paul Pogba won the foul after former Manchester City manager Douglas Luiz was adjudged to have fouled the World Cup winner. The Brazilian fumed at the decision after the game and rival fans also disagreed with the decision to award a penalty. Some replays appeared to show Pogba clip his own heels but another angle clearly shows it was a result of contact from Luiz. Verdict: Contentious but a penalty. It's also worth nothing that only six of United's penalties have come in the Premier League - only one more than Liverpool and Chelsea have received this season and four less than Leicester. As Solskjaer said, he cannot control opposition teams fouling his players in the box. With a forward line as pacey and skilful as United's, fouls in the box are to be expected. United fans will be glad they have someone as lethal as Fernandes to take full advantage. |

FG should just relieve ASUU off the revitalisation duty, cause it seems that's where the problem is coming from moreover I don't see NUT going on strike over revitalisation of public schools if not I don't think they will be students in the university for them ASUU to lecture. ASUU should just do their part I know they are fighting for the betterment of the students but it's looking lame now and the last time I check they are staffs not building contractors, they can't pressure FG only the masses can they can instigate the masses to do so but not this way they are heading, cause now the masses look at them as the main antagonist to their children's story. It's just like a doctor refusing to treat a dying patient cause of poor Hospital funding and still insist to the patient it's for his/her own good while the person is on his/her death bed, it's so awkward and lame and to the person dying it is pure wickedness to him and the end of the day everyone will blame the doctor. Such is life people are against ASUU cause every action they take affects not the FG but the masses and they fail to realise that. But I think it's high time one backs down and the current situation of the country favors FG, although FG might be lying about the financial status of the country but if we look around us all other countries are in mess due to covid19, so I think ASUU should back down now and continue the fight later when all is well but as we all know even if our economy is same as that of the US. ASUU will still find reasons to strike. It's my own view of things correct me if am wrong. Thank you. |

sinkhole:That's naija for you bro #waything man go do |
Tony142:But now Na ASUU day top the league. Still waiting for who will over take them |
You know going by the current state of ASUU I don't think they are any organisation able to challenge them. They are world class set of players in the business able to take down any tough opponents even the almighty FG fc. I wonder why they haven't been given the title they truly deserve yet even with their superb performance for 7-8 months yet. Indeed ladies and gentlemen ASUU are the best strikers out there. I keep wondering why pes or FIFA hasn't feature them in their franchise, cause it's obvious to everyone that they are world class strikers, I even heard Chelsea almost signed them due to their performance against FG fc. I believe they will win the "balloon da' Strike" with this performance. Lolzzzzz (Abi I lie?) Admin please take to FrontPage for people to see ooo and tell me I lie or not. To my fellow students Happy Sunday and God bless you all. |
Dope, either ASUU or Fg has to quit for the other to win. FG cannot bow to their needs all the time but to be sincere the money they have given ASUU before what have they done with it? Cause I see no changes in my school FUTO same old crappy buildings. They only renovate and take care of offices and neglect lecture halls except a private body/exco volunteer to renovate them. I pray God help us all. |
No matter of preaching can save ASUU from students they are heartless to the core very heartlsss |
kjsun15:All the same #endasuustrike |
ASUU na flops the students were in their side before but now they are going against them |
#Endasuustrikenow all the way |
#Endasuustrikenow |
#EndASUUstrikeNow |
Please guys make it trend. |
Students is time to fight for yourselves ooo. I can't bear this anymore, it's becoming a disgrace and shame ASUU needs to do something even if not for FG sake but for we the students if truly they have good intentions for us. Is it a crime to be in a University under ASUU why must we be at the receiving end, they can't even reason and pity us the students, even with the pandemic they still stood on their word. I don't know how most of you guys see this but for me I think ASUU don't care about us all they want is their selfish desires which am not against but not at my own expense. So please Fellow students let's strike a blow and let people know we know our rights. |
True word, like seriously |
Jose Mourinho : "It's difficult to play against Manchester united. Am not saying they are a difficult team to play against, but it's difficult because even after 90 minutes the Ref can call you from your dressing room and tell you that he has decided to give Manchester united a penalty so your Goalkeeper must dress again and go face Bruno Fernandes . You can only celebrate when you get home, because if you still around the stadium it's possible they might get a penalty even at full time " |
Zeion422:I got it from our school News media, they notify us any updates in school. |
