I just love and enjoy eating rice from childhood. I don't care about the type, be it jollof, fried, coconut, banga, concoction etc. I will eat it if it's tasty.
I don't always feel comfortable if I haven't eaten rice in a day..... Even if I don't eat swallow for 1wk I won't miss it, but I must eat rice everyday. My people My people |

Labadi69: I thought it was the other way round. I thought fresh was for cooking and powdered for tea. Well we learn everyday. E good like that sef as the fresh one can stain everywhere for kitchen You get it the stain.. The fresh has strong taste and smell, harsh too. The powdered is less pungent. |

amorprincesa: Don't mind me jare. I hate coconut rice being white. I couldn't get tomatoes today, so I added the turmeric to give it a little bit of colour.
Yes, the turmeric overpowered it. Don't try it, that spice is too strong. Anyone using tumeric should know it is very strong but a pinch of it goes a long way. Probably you added too much. |

armyofone: Takes getting use to. Start trying it. It is a very tasty meal. Toast your bread and just cut, peel and ready to eat. Nothing added - no salt added if I'm eating it with bread. Avocado - when not spoilt, taste good. You cut it open and see that greenish light yellow color (not brown) then you are on to some great eating experience I snack on plain Avocado! I will. |
