Yuneehk: For some weird reasons, I don't like these plates.
My mum got me a dozen and I've not made sweet moimoi with it since. I'm planning to dump them and go back to my plastic plates(unsafe) and moimoi leaves(too messy for me).
The moi moi is always not properly cooked. I've tried several ways and the times I get them properly cooked, they are too strong. Is there a special trick to using these plates because I'm already tired of them After making your paste,. Don't fill the cups, half is better so it get done fast. Put enough water in the pot as base that will help the steaming process. I put my pot on fire on low heat, while I prepare the moi moi base, I use a very big pot so the steam will go round. |

Family › Re: When Is The Best Age To Give Sex Education To Your Child by kinah(f): 7:46pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
DaBogu: I wish to ask this question to know if I am on the right path. I am a kind that believe parents should start teaching their children at age of 14 and above about the danger of having sex at a tender age.
Sometimes ago, I received the most brutal disgrace of my life. I have this neighbor that has two daughters. The eldest is 15 years old while the other one is just 12 years old.
So there was a day I was teaching them about the danger of having sex at all and of course at such tender age.
In the course of our conversation, their mother walked bye and she started yelling at me and raining all sort of insults on me. She was like, what sort of nonsense am I teaching her children, what kind of rubbish is that, my children are young and yet you are teaching them rubbish, for your info my children are young and they don't know anything about all the rubbish you have been saying, never and never in your life talked to my daughters in your life.
I was disgraced but was later rescued by my brother who instructed me to apologise to the woman.
Now, the question is, does enlightening our children who has attained the age of 13 and above about the danger of sex portends any danger. And when is the right age can one start teaching his/her children about the calamity of sex ?
Please, Matured responses.
Thank you in anticipation Op you have done well But you need to be sensitive Parents of this era don't take things like this likely. We don't trust each other again She might thought you are trying to get close to them. All is left for the teachers in school. In my school, we do pep talks on sex education especially during children and teenagers camp. It is in our scheme of work for each class per session from 3+ During girls Day, same is done. During camp outs, if you hear this children talking to you or asking questions you can't imagine. You would be amazed and we realized that most parents have failed in the duty as parents. God help us |

BlueRayDick: If by toddler u mean she’s between a year old to 3 years old, then I suggest u convince ur hubby with ur feminine side to approve of dropping her with ur or his parents for the night .
Those kinda date nights are always great for couples aside the food that will be on the menu wherever u chose to spend the night .
However, if that will not work what kind of food are u looking at preparing at home if u will be spending the night home? ? Do u want the normal Nigerian dinner or u are thinking of having like all these course meals ? That will help others know what to suggest for u Our parents are not in the same town with us. A course meal is fine |

Senkasa: Like?
Any tips? Cos I also have an oily skin like yours? Separate sponges for body and face. Don't use hot or scalding hot water for bathing use warm water Don't scrub your body like you are scrubbing back of pot. Use soft sponge Change sponge regularly Don't use oil based cream, rather water based Use lotion sparingly since you have oily skin Do you know your body could have different skin types. Like you leg dry skin, face oily So observe |

Tohmey: Hello dear sis. . . you have to help me out my own I have a very degree of sensitive skin most especially on my face, and whenever i use any soaps on my face it irritate and next thing i see is breakout all over my face, i have many soaps e.g tetmosol, tura. . . b4 and yet no solution So a friend of mine just recomend me to start using black soap(he recomend DUDU OSUN soap) so the very 1st day i used the soap i notice like serious burns & breakout instantly of which i inform him about the effect am seeing. . And he said as time goes on it will stops. But right now i have used 4 of the soaps and breakout is becoming worst day by day. For creams i use JOHNSON BABY LOTION(U.S.A) which they wrote "it's suiteable for sensitive skin" and i dont have any problem with the cream. BUT I THINK SOAP IS MY MAIN PROBLEM If there is a solution on how you cure yours, please do share with me THANKS IN ADVANCE Wow!!!! To be sincere I didn't do much. I got tired of using different soaps and creams even though most were recommended for sensitive skins. I have used papaya soap,Kojic, even liquid bath name them... Then I started making my black soap myself. Couldn't again cos of time.... Some things that helped me were Scrubbing occasionally Diet I stopped drinking carbonated drinks, I don't use sugar. I avoid stress( anytime I am stressed my face is rough). I reduced sun exposure after 10am. I use only black soap and Nivea fairness.(before it was pko, Shea butter or coconut oil) I always have that around. Just be conscious of what you do. Be observant to know what works for you. When you get it that's all. |
