Silly talk
How many 4gb phones are available?
How many people can even afford it? Not all these cheap chinko MTK phones.

The least price for an original snapdragon or exynos phone is N200, 000.

I CAN NEVER SPEND MORE THAN 50K ON ANY MTK PHONE EVEN IF THEY MAKE 12GB RAM PHONE.

So far you can't afford doesn't mean others could not, it's all about choice some prefers helio to Snapdragon processor. As I said above we should expect one out of 2017 flagships to have 6GB RAM

Phones / What You Should Expect From Tecno, Infinix, Innjoo In 2017. by Kindas3325(m): 3:00pm On Dec 21, 2016
If you are thinking of upgrading your Android Device then you should wait till 2017 as more android devices with breath-taking specifications will be launched by Innjoo, Tecno & Infinix.

Africa is not left behind in the trends of Android OS, iOS & Windows, though with the current economy situation only few can afford High-End Samsung’s, iPhones & Huawei Smart Phones, In view of this we are enriched with MTK’ devices from Tecno, Infinix, Innjoo, Doogee & Cubot, Even though I prefer MediaTek devices to Qualcomm.

Now the talk is what more should we expect from the Mobile Giant In Africa In 2017, We have so much experience with Huawei, Samsung and Oneplus devices, Even finger print scanner has been an old trends for those devices, let’s quickly run through the list.

ANDROID 7.0 NOUGAT

All the phones Infinix and Tecno launched in 2016 does not have a smell of Android 7.0 Nougat, though I’d expect zero 4 to run on it, If we look at this from the end of Huawei they launched over 2 smartphones, Samsung did and One Plus actually did, One thing I have to believe is so far Tecno Mobile sign a deal with Manchester City, there will be more surprising phones in 2017 to tackle European Citizens, Starting from boom series to camon series, we expect the launch to be Android 7.0 Nougat, Infinix will also make a run up with this in it’s Note & Hot series.

6GB RAM

Enough is enough we have some that is tired of using 4GB RAM phones with talkless of 2GB, though It’s normal to compromise an economy smartphone with 1GB ram but that’s not enough for big guns out there wiling to play PES & FTS with ease and faster multi tasking, the only 6GB RAM we should expect in 2017 should roll out in Tecno Phantom series and Infinix Zero Series, Only if innjoo max 4 second variant could feature the massive 6GB RAM.

ON SCREEN FINGERPRINT SCANNER

Late in 2015 we have the phantom 5 with finger print scanner at the rear this same trends was followed through – out 2017, with Huawei Honor Magic concept and Samsung we should expect at least one device out the brand series to have a finger print at the front, almost every smartphone in 2016 was subjected to Finger Print including W5 and Hot 4 so we can be assured every smartphones in 2017 will feature this security scanner, part of it is the Iris Scanner.

BEZEL-LESS DESIGN.

in August 2016 when Tecno Phantom 6 designs started Rolling out we have a picture of it in a rounded shape but could that be phantom 7, No these brands should learn from Xiaomi with Mi Mix, Elephone with S8 and Huawei with Honor Magic & Lots more, Almost every smart phones launched recently comes in bezel-less design, With my sophisticated mind I expect one device out of camon series to have the appealing design, Infinix Note Series could follow the same protocol likewise Innjoo Max series.

PROCESSOR

The processor is one of the feature we should target, Helio x20 processor is fading already so we should forget zero 4 and phantom 6, Recently Mediatek launched Helio X23 and Helio x27 which support premium dual camera photography and provide best in-class performance and power consumption up-to 25%, the new chipset holds Cortex-A72 which is clocked at 2.2Ghz, and another Cortex A72 at a clocked speed of 2.6GHz respectively, Phones like Elephone S8 & Umi Z already has this chipset which saves battery by 25%, In 2017 we expect Tecno and Infinix phones to be rolling with the new chipset.

The important basics is covered, part of what we should be expecting is the improved camera technology, only phantom 6 has the dual camera we expect more of this devices to summon the same aspect, another Is the improved battery technology the highest we have so far is the 7000mAh battery from Droipad 10 Pro II, We should expect more of this in Tablets next year.

Hold on before you hit the exit button kindly share What You Should Expect From Tecno, Innjoo & Infinix Smartphones In 2017, What do you think about this new features, you can also add to yours in the comment box below.

The programmers need to do something about it.

Jesus!!!.
You are absolutely correct.
Etisalat DNS was hacked I am guessing as well. The stuff has corrupted my ipad as we speak. Restored, refreshed, done everything.
So yeah I guess its Etisalat.

I used the etisalat modem, same thing.
I used my ipad with etisalat network as wifi, same thing.

I had to reset my systems network settings so for now its safe.
Will probably ditch that etisalat on my ipad and reset it again.

Yes...
Through my DNS most especially.
Affected my site www.HRtechnique.com where I discuss Nigerian companies recruitment process.

I was getting spammed by:
1. X dns unlocker.
2. X counterflix.

Disrupting my settings and pages.
Contacted Google and they assisted.
Still recovering.

It was hell. Has anyone else experienced this?. How did you resolve?.

Lol this happened few weeks ago too but I finally noticed it is Etisalat Nigeria dns that was hacked, I noticed the pop ups on Naij, Techradar, Gsmarena and others too but this don't probably affect websites with https, http only, but sites with http://www. was infected with the virus.

Try other network I guarantee no pop up ads unless your system is infected with that intrusive virus.

They weren't shooting guns , they shot tear gas

And did someone say let's trick them into a corner ? ( e je kan le wa de koro)

I do not like police , but if someone gets killed , i take that statement as an attempt to attack the police

If you can get to any student in that area you better do, Police now beat any students of Lautech in sight, and who attacked first it was the police.

Yes, because people that engage in political protests deserve to be shot.
How nice.
And how does a political protest pertains to students protest,What you are insinuating now is every protest in Nigeria deserves killing right, Politicians kills and unkill how is that related to students, Let's get ourself right man.

I don't know why you did not get this right, Political protest is different from student's own SMH

When we are denied rights to education, Are we denied rights to stage a peaceful protest too? embarassed

The Nigeria police fires at lautech students protesters in Ogbomosho, oyo state on Friday, eye witness said that more than 20 students were injured in a race to safe their life from gun shot but no one was killed.

Over 500 students from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology,Ogbomosho had gather to air their mind over the prolonged strike, while others are on their way from different part of the country to join the protest.Students have been home for over 6 months, the strike which started on June 13 2016 is still on going, student were unable to write first semester examinations, final year students were not allowed to write their final exam.

Meanwhile, lautech students only come together with the aim of expressing their mind to the government and to show the world the uncertainities that surrounds their future. An eye withness told us that the police force told the students they needed to turn back because they did not have permission to hold protest, then they started firing.

THE STRIKE IN WHOLE-The decision to embark on the industrial action was agreed after a congress meeting of the union held at the main campus of the institution, which was also attended by the chairman of the University of Ibadan chapter of the union, Dr. Deji Omole, and that of the University of Lagos, Dr. Laja Oduja.
The Chairman of ASUU in the university, Dr. Abiodun Olaniran, said the strike followed the endorsement of the National Executive Council of ASUU which gave its approval to press home the reversal of several hardship facing workers of the institution.

Olaniran stated that the demands of the union include a review of conditions of service for academic staff, retirement plans, including pension which is presently non-existent, payment of five months salaries, as well as academic earned allowances.
The Chairman of ASUU in LAUTECH also maintained that the industrial action would not be suspended until the 23 months subvention owed the institution is fully paid by the two owner states of Oyo and Osun.
While Oyo owes eight months, Osun State owes 15 months unpaid subvention.
Before now, the two non-academic staff unions in the institution, Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), had been on strike since July over issues bordering on staff welfare.
The university had also remained closed to undergraduate students since mid-June following students’ protest; but ASUU members were, till Monday, attending to postgraduate students and final year students working on their projects.
